Zaika catered a fundraiser I just attended at a masjid in Trenton and the food was absolutely phenomenal.

Zaika is a gem. Food 5/5 I'm telling you this as an ACTUAL Pakistani, it's RARE to find a Pakistani restaurant that does food well or at least our food justice. And this is where they capitalized. I order the chicken seekh kabob, lamb biryani, Zaika Kabob combo, and karahi. EVERYTHING WAS GOOD. The karahi was as authentic as can be. The kabobs were all tender and delicious. All platters served ample protein. The biryani is usually the game changer for these kind of places. If you do it well, you're in the clear and they definitely do. Also, the naans were fresh! A place that does naan justice, deserves praise. All in all, a very pleasurable experience! Service 4/5 The gentlemen behind the counter was nice and they served our food as quickly as possible. It helped that we were the only ones in the restaurant however. Ambience -3/5 It's really dated inside. The booths are clean but they're just...a weird hunter green. The walls are oddly painted too. The bathroom is disgusting. They clean it but that entire area needs work. Food is AMAZING. Seriously. But don't expect anything from the ambience of the place. read more

Sign says open but the property is very un kept and looks like it's abandoned but then you see the open sign and wonder. Also there aren't really ever cars in the parking lot. The drive through isn't used and the menu board makes the property look worse and unwelcoming. read more

My first time ordering and we ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Kebab Wrap, Lamb Biryani and a few vegetable samosas and every last crumb was excellent! I cannot believe it took me so long to get there, but better late than never. We went here for lunch.seating area is old fashioned but doesn't matter if the food is great. My husband took lunch buffet it was great.They had different types of curries. Chicken curry and kofta curry I liked the most. Chicken tandoor was so we'll marinated and perfectly cooked- no burning.I ordered Chapli kabab from the menu bcz if u come to kabab house then u should try at least one. I was skeptical about my order but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It took little bit of time but it was just perfect and delicious.came with green fresh salad and freshly cooked salad. This place is the real deal. I found it by chance via Google when my go-to Indian restaurant was closed. Welp, they won my heart and I'll never return to my previous spot. Not to mention, I travel 20 minutes from NJ and well worth it. Their Malai Kofta is the best I've ever had. You can taste every spice and ingredient added to it. It literally melts in your mouth. There are American-Indian restaurants and then there's this. Homemade authentic quality Indian food. I've heard the kabob is no joke as well. "Traditional and delicious". Loved it... I had the chicken seekh kabob's hot of the grill and they were excellent. Great homemade Naan as well. New and exciting flavors to be found here, makes other Indian food a little bland actually. Had a chance to talk to the Owner Shahid and he's the real deal. Went here today for lunch. I love Indian/Pakistani food, so trying this place out was a no-brainer. Overall, not bad. I was kind of disappointed because the buffet wasn't offered, even though they suggest that the buffet is offered daily. I had the vegetarian biryani, vegetable samosas, naan and water. The biryani was well spiced (as I requested), and the samosas were very good! (Tamarind chutney was very tasty). The naan was kinda.....puffy. Maybe a little heavy on the leavening. We stumbled on this gem driving to Philadelphia. We have eaten in many Pakistani and Indian restaurants both in the Philadelphia and NYC area. Unsure of how this one would fare we ordered both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. While the wait was on the long side it was more than worth it. The dishes were cooked to order and our requests were honored. The owner/chef(?) came over to us to check how we liked our meal and even offered us a bread gratis. My wife and had driven past Zaika numerous times on the way to the Bristol Amish Market. After finding that the buffet was no longer offered, we delayed coming despite the solid reviews. We weren't in the mood for Amish cooking, so we stopped at Zaika for lunch. The restaurant was completely empty save the 2-3 employees working in the back. The owner? came to take our order. The menu was seriously out of date since many of the items were not being offered (perhaps they are at dinner?). We both ordered butter chicken thinking we can't go wrong with that being a staple at South Asian restaurants. The waiter first came out with a salad with a delicious cilantro/spicy dressing. We're off to a good start. Next came a side of long grain fragrant rice, naan, and the butter chicken. The rice and naan were good, the butter chicken excellent. The chicken itself may have been tandoori chicken they cut up and put into the sauce. But the sauce? It was excellent. Overall we were happy and plan to come back. It seems like a lot of their business is now takeout but it's definitely worth a visit whether you dine in or take out. I so wanted to like this restaurant. There is no good Indian restaurant near by and I was so excited when I saw that the old fried chicken restaurant was going to be turned into an Indian restaurant. Sadly, there is still not a good Indian restaurant near by. We ordered take out of- the lamb korma meal, lamb vindaloo meal, side of chickpeas, and chicken samosa. The service was slow and disorganized. The customer service was awful. The food greasy and not impressive. The side of chickpeas was disgusting, over cooked and greasy. I take Train to Trenton and now started coming here with hubby on Fridays. Delicious and fresh food. Best hot off the oven Naans ever. Great service and staff. First time trying Indian in a new town of PA and stumble upon this place. When I first walked in, it was very empty with 2 old men seating each side of the dining area just sitting there, awkward. I came here because of the pictures of the buffet but nothing or no food in the stands. I decided to place an order and eat here anyways. It wasn't a long wait for the food. The naan and everything I ordered was cooked perfectly and so fresh!!! I would come back just for that. I really want to come when the buffet is set up. I found this restaurant off the beaten path off Rt 13 S near the Wal-Mart super center. It looked empty, saw the McDee style combo menu Pakistani/ north Indian cuisine. Ordered Chicken Briyani, chicken tikka masala, chicken seems kabab...all were excellent..authentic, made with right amount of spice and flavor. Not too overly Spicy (chilly hot)..This is what I would call as authentic pakistani/ north Indian cusine..nothing like this can be found near by here in lower bucks..I would urge you all to try this, you will not be disappointed.., After eating here for the first time last week, I have ordered take out twice last week. Chose this restaurant because it's near my son's apartment in Bristol and my daughter is a vegan. It was totally empty when we arrived around 6:30 pm on a Thursday evening and we were the only ones there for over an hour. (A few people did pick up take-out). You order at a counter and they bring the food to you. They didn't have a few things that we wanted to order (no salmon, no lamb chops), but the guy at the counter made some good suggestions and what we got was absolutely delicious! We loved the food. Went to Zaika Kabab for the first time with family. We ordered Papri Chaat, chicken karahi, and Fried Fish. The Chicken karahi seemed old and the papri chaat had tortilla chips instead of Papri in it, it could also use some potatoes. Although the food at this restaurant much more spicer and authentic then some other places but it could improve on the freshness. The fish pakora seemed better then other 2 dishes. read more

I've been a customer of this place since they opened. Always ordered the curry lamb. You got lamb ( 6 to 7 small pieces ), rice, very small salad (Lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber) and the Naan for $13.99 good deal Never had a problem until this past weekend. I expected to get the same deal which its stated on the menu it doesn't say anything about OR on the menu. The so waiter ask me if I wanted Naan and I said yes. So he brings me the lamb with the Naan I started eating thinking that the salad and rice was delayed. So I call the guy over and ask him where's the rice and salad. He said it doesn't come with rice and salad with an attitude. To make a long story short it's bad enough that the owner does not have many customers but to do want they did was not a wise business decision. You need to change the wording on the menu before you change your policies .I paid $ 13.99 for a piece of bread and 7 -1/2 inch pieces of lamb. If I knew this was going to happen I've would have gone to Popeye's chicken and get a chicken sandwich it would have cost less. I will not eat there any longer. You lost a good customer. I didn't go this past summer because he doesn't want to get the A/C fixed. read more

Got Delivery tonight. Quite possibly worst experience overall i have ever had, definitely top 5 worst. Where to begin? delivery said 30 minutes , took about an hour and a half and i had to call them back to make sure they came. Open the bag, food and rice literally spilled everywhere all over the place. If you like Chicken Tika Masala, do not go here! Ive had from many places and That was not it, something else... oh and 20 dollar minimim for credit cards, and they guy had to call me back well after the meal to get the info. This place was empty when I walked in, and it shouldn't be. Amazing delicious fresh Pakistani cuisine. The cook and the other guy running it were so nice and helpful in me ordering, and made sure to ask how I wanted each dish as far as spiciness (mild, medium, or spicy). The mild was just spicy enough for us. We had the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. They both came with rice and a good amount of naan and a salad with a delicious cilantro dressing. Went here one night cause I didn't feel like schlepping all the way to yardley to the Indian Garden. Read the positive reviews on here and decided to give them a try. Well I should have known better. Since I've been in this area this spot has changed hands several times. From Long John Silvers to a pizza spot to a fried chicken spot and now this. Maybe this is a bad luck spot for restaurants. The place is kind of drab. The staff of three men were friendly enough and the menu offers typical Indian fare. I didn't order anything my daughter did. She wanted the Lamb Vindaloo special and vegetable Samosas. As we waited for her food to be prepared I looked around and noticed there were still items left behind from when it was a chicken restaurant. Quick changeover, little clean up. The place had an eerie feeling to it. Not very inviting. I felt like I was in an episode of Twin Peaks and something odd was going to happen. Any who, there was another patron, an Indian eating when we came in. There was a family waiting for food to go as was a couple. There was a young gentleman eating in. I gave this place two stars because they seemed so nice. But I don't expect them to be in business long. I see the DOH shutting them down...soon! There was no AC in and it was rather warm that night. So they had the doors open and all the bugs attracted to the light were flying around. We had a fifteen to twenty minute wait for the food only to have it confused with the couples order. So now we wait again for the correct order. Well after we get home my daughter is eating as says she was gipped. There was no lamb in her lamb vindaloo. Lots of potatoes though. The samosas were good. But her Naan bread was scorched. So if your curious about trying Indian food I recommend schlepping all the way to yardley yo the Indian Garden. Zaika is not fast food. They make everything fresh to order, take out or dine in. The curry and kebabs are excellent, made as mild or spicy as you like it. This is my second time here. I brought my husband back to try it. He had the Zaika Kebab Combo which is lamb, beef and chicken kebab with salad, rice and naan. He loved it! I tried the buffet and it was really good. I believe the buffet items change daily. They offered chicken curry. Beef korma, chicken tandoori, mixed veggies in a sweet sauce, beans dahl fry, creamed spinach and potato and rice. All were excellent. We will definitely make this a regular stop. read more

We have been to ziaka at least 5 times since they opened. We have really enjoyed everything we have tried, which is pretty much the entire vegetarian menu. I love that their food is fairly spicy. I really love their matar paneer and the vegetable korma. The food takes a little long to come out but I feel it is worth it because they food is always incredibly fresh tasting. My 4 year old son is very picky and he always wants their mango lassis. We went to the buffet lunch once and everything was decent but I think their dinner is better. They refuse to refund you after they send you what appears to have been scraped from their toilet bowl ad pass it off as food, and play the "we don't speak English" game.
