Loved everything about this place. As soon as I walked in the door I could tell the guys were eager and happy to feed me good food. I had the Chicken Over Rice and want to go back again tomorrow. I think I could eat it everyday! Cooking was happening as I ordered and everything was super fresh. Service and attention to wanting to please me as a costumer was top tier. I usually eat alone in my car, but the restaurant was so laid back and chill, it was inviting... so I snagged a corner table. I didn't get a picture of my meal, but trust me their social media shows it all! I did however get a picture of this exclusive drink and I loved it! I'm a regular soda girl, and this drink was amazing. I love mango, but I'm sure they are all great. I'll definitely be back sometime soon. Nice job guys. Best of luck.

This place has DELICIOUS food. I ate mine so fast I forgot to take a photo. My go to is the chicken halal , the lamb is also really good! Beware of the red sauce if it's your first time. It tastes amazing but it can be overwhelming if you haven't had it before. The staff is very friendly and it's usually pretty quiet inside so you can eat and relax. 10/10 going back! It's our families go to spot!

Taste N Take is a new Hallal restaurant at the corner of New Falls Road and Veterans Highway, Levittown, PA. It appears oriented primarily for take out (thus, the name), but does have four booths for those who prefer to eat when the food comes steaming off the grill. First observation was the absence of any spits or vertical grill for roasting and shaving the lamb, chicken or beef directly into a gyro or rice plate. Upon ordering a lamb gyro, the manager/owner went to the back kitchen to prepare it. He returned with my aluminum foil wrapped sandwich about 7 minutes later. He seemed surprised that I was going to eat in his shop, but adjusted pleasantly and gave me a flimsy plastic fork and napkins. It was a heavy gyro, and upon opening the foil and thin sheet of paper it opened up completely, spilling part of the load of lamb chunks, onion, tomato, lettuce and white sauce onto the flattened foil (now placemat). I rolled it up as best I could and took a big bite. It was very good. Everything was fresh and hot, and the combination of white and spice sauces immediately attacked my tongue with a strong textural and flavorful blast. True, it was a bit messy, but that was part of the experience. Plenty of napkins to keep fingers and lips out of trouble. I used the fork to gather up what fell from the gyro. This meal was too good to waste any of it. The gyro came with a can of soda. They should consider broadening the available drinks beyond sweets and offer water as well. They should also ask whether the order was eat in or take out. If to be consumed on premises, the gyro should be presented in a way that allows it to be opened and eaten without falling apart - the way most Hallal joints do it. They have a good product. They just need to refine their customer presentation and choices to make it more hospitable and entertaining. 3.5 STARS

Fantastic food for an affordable price! A bunch of my classmates and I went there after volunteering. They offer halal products and have a variety of options. We all go the fish, chicken, or lamb over rice (comes with a small salad and drink for only $9.99). The staff were friendly and very quick. This was probably one of the cleanest restaurants I have been into in a while. We will definitely be back!

Great fresh food! Food is cooked to order and you will not be disappointed! Food looks just like the pics. May be best to order ahead.

I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday. I absolutely loved the experience I had here and will be stopping by again this summer! Thanks, Dog & Bull!

I never watched Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones because every last loser on earth was all about it. The Beatles fucking suck and Bruce Springsteen can go shit in his hat. Pumpkin spice is for pumpkin pie and that's it, no matter what these dizzy suburban women say. So the decision to visit Johnny Longhots today was based entirely on poor reviews. The guy who ordered a sandwich to the hospital and found a cheesesteak to be "greasy" deserves to contract MRSA during his stay. The dope who complained his fries were soggy ordered his shit off Door Dash. He's lucky the driver didn't eat all of his fries. The folks who called out the teenagers who are getting their first experience working can all get bent. You weren't perfect when you had your first job. Don't forget people like you willingly locked kids in their homes during covid. It's no wonder some of them struggle with social skills and working under pressure. Have a little grace, then eat a bag of dicks for not being patient to them. Don't get me started on that dipshit from Brooklyn. That person who rated the place a one for the soda? I already know who you vote for. Onto the food - the menu is huge. There are a ton of choices with something for just about everyone. There's even gluten free options for those fucking people. There were four or five sandwiches in the running, but it was the Gritty Cheesesteak that ultimately won out on my first visit. And that's a strange decision for me because the Flyers stink and their fans are even worse. They're the worst organization in hockey. Maybe I just wanted fries on my sandwich. Yea - that's it. So the Gritty is a good amount of beef, fries tossed in Old Bay and topped with white cheddar cheese sauce atop a seeded roll. I added fried onions. The sandwich scores higher than the Flyers. I was a fan of the seeded roll which was super fresh. The cheese sauce was tasty and complemented the fries really well. They were super crispy, well seasoned and plentiful. The beef wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was tender and cooked well. All-in-all a good sandwich. The gals up front were attentive and friendly. They took my order quickly. Hats off to the kitchen for getting my food out promptly among the online orders. The place was pretty clean and had a ton of Philly Sports pics on the wall. The music on the radio was some throwback stuff - thank God it wasn't any of that mumble rap shit most kids play these days. Johnny's has a bunch of lunch specials that look worthwhile and a decent value. Locally owned spot worth giving your business to. It's a 4-star review from me that gets bumped to a 5 to spite the mopes who gave it a one.

A friend was eating their jumbo Buffalo Shrimp off the starter menu and raved about them. I stuck to a Cheesesteak which was average but a deal at $9.50 -- the chopped steak was decent, cheese was good just needed a bit more. Hot peppers gave it some kick and the long roll was fresh.
