This is one of my favorite pizza places. I have been going to Napoli's ever since Vallejo when they first opened in the 60s when I was a little girl. We went last night to get pizza. I got original Tony's pizza large the slices really didn't look like a large and I had onions added. My onions, were literally two slivers of onion on each slice very disappointed. Then an employee in the back where the ovens are was with two other employees, he had a hat on with curly hair. He kept rubbing his nose as I was standing at the cashier place to pay for my pizza, and then he kept rubbing it and the guys were talking to him. He pulled his finger away and looked at it. Then he grabbed a tissue and kept rubbing his nose did not go to the sink to wash his hands very disappointed I did call and report this to a girl manager who said she would address this. The pizza was OK we have had better here way better even my husband said where's all the toppings it's not much on this. I want to give a shoutout to this pizza spot. There are times I'll drive all the way from Antioch just to grab a pizza from here, and honestly their pizza has been on point almost every time. Great flavor, good quality, and the value is solid for what you get. My partner and I genuinely enjoy it. I will say I was a little disappointed with the wings the one time I tried them -- they were a bit too greasy for my preference. Could've just been an off day, but that was my only downside. Also, I really appreciate that they offer free peppers and cheese on the side. Most chains get stingy with that. Overall, I'll definitely keep coming back whenever we can. read more

I actually order my pizzas with no sauce but since this wasn't a pizza just for me I really shouldn't complain. I've dined at the original location many times. It was the only restaurant I would order pizza from ( hint: back when I liked saucy pizza) I recall the restaurant had an authentic Italian ambience. You could watch the chefs making the pizza dough tossing it in the air shaping it and handling it like pros. Since i didn't pick up this order I can't comment on the Vacaville location. I'm sure it's just like I would imagine from back in the day. The person picking up our order did mention that the inside was nice and they were very helpful with the menu choices. Glad to know Napoli pizzeria is still around. Not many family owned restaurants survived the pandemic. This is a review that I really hate to write, but I used to love, love, love this place! it was SO good. I don't know what happened. They seem to have changed the menu as there was a wonderful pizza I used to get and now it's gone. Last time we ordered from here, the pizza was so gross that it was basically wasted - I ate two bites. The middle of the pizza was so soggy and gross, like someone left my pizza sitting in a pan of water after it was"cooked". I couldn't even pick up the slice. I can't even describe how strange it was - especially being from Napoli (not the city ;) It's very sad for me because most of the restaurants have gotten so bad - especially pizza restaurants - but I was always happy to order from here. There are three locations. Reading reviews and looking at pictures, the pizzas looked delicious so I tried Vacaville location. Greeted with a smile when I entered. I ordered my pizzas and a salad. Took about 20 minutes. Lots of people dining in and takeout. Good sign. Finally my order ready and i headed home hungry. Taking bites, good sign until i got to the crust area. All i could taste is the sauce. I felt my pizzas is uncooked. I don't want to taste sauce., i wanted to eat the crust. I had to wipe all this red sauce off to eat the crust. Cheese on pizza not stringy. When I grab a slice, I want to see string of pizza coming off with each slice. My pizza not exactly like pictures. If i go back i would say, make sure sauce is cooked or don't put so much around the edges. My Caesar salad looked good, it was too many croutons and not enough lettuce. THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE OWNER, MIKE -- I grew up loving Napoli's in Vallejo and Benicia, so I was excited to finally try the Vacaville location for the first time. The pizzas looked great in the photos, and I had high hopes. I placed my order with a very sweet girl who took my call. She never quoted a wait time, but I stayed patient even as almost two hours went by -- all while my hungry kids kept asking when the pizza would arrive. I assumed it must just be really busy and maybe she forgot to mention the long wait. Finally, after nearly two hours, our pizza arrived. It looked delicious -- but when my son brought it inside, it was completely cool to the touch. The bottom of the box was barely warm, and the pizza itself was room temperature. Clearly, something went wrong -- paying over $50 for a single XL pizza and having to reheat it just to eat is completely unacceptable. And to be clear: I didn't mind the long wait or the price. I happily paid expecting a fresh, hot pizza as advertised. But having to recook our food because it arrived cold is not fair to paying customers. I called the store hoping it would be handled professionally. The same girl answered, but quickly put me on hold -- and suddenly a man picked up. Without introduction, he immediately told me the call had been "escalated" to him. I was confused but started calmly explaining the situation. From the second he got on the line, he was hostile. No apology. No acknowledgment. Instead, it was excuse after excuse -- insisting there was "no way" the pizza was cold. When I pointed out that it was absolutely cold and something had clearly gone wrong (either sitting too long or being mishandled during delivery), he accused me of lying, literally saying, "We don't know what you did with the pizza." Excuse me?! The driver had JUST left minutes before! When he asked me what I suggested to fix it, I proposed a small discount or a future credit -- not a refund -- just something fair to make it right. Instead of offering anything, he cut me off, raised his voice, and snapped, "We don't do discounts!" I clarified that I was simply asking for a future credit (not another pizza that day), but he got even more hostile, yelling, "You're not getting another pizza when you already got one!" (For the record: I had only received the cold pizza I paid full price for.) Finally, he begrudgingly offered to remake a smaller pizza -- not the XL I originally paid for -- but said it would take another two hours to receive it. I explained that I had small children over who couldn't wait that long again, and he basically told me to "go online and leave reviews" if I didn't like it. So I did exactly that.. While looking through other Google and Yelp reviews, I discovered he's not just the manager -- he's the OWNER. And after reading other customer experiences, it's clear this type of behavior is a pattern. Still, out of fairness, I decided to give him and his business one more chance. I called back and agreed to accept the smaller replacement pizza without leaving reviews -- I just wanted to move on. Even then, he continued to accuse me of lying, claiming he called the driver who said the pizza was "warm," not cold. I again explained that it had been cold to the touch and that continuing to accuse a paying customer of lying was unacceptable. He hesitantly agreed to resend the pizza -- the same smaller pizza he had already offered earlier -- but now demanded that I hand over the remaining slices of the cold XL pizza to the delivery driver for "inspection." What in the world?! As a small business owner myself, I know how meaningful reviews and customer satisfaction are. Yet this OWNER thought it was better to fight and belittle a local customer rather than just do the right thing. When I calmly pointed out again how unreasonable and aggressive he was being, he had the audacity to ask me, "Is this about the pizza or the $50 you spent?" UM -- BOTH. I have no problem paying good money for good food. But if I'm paying $50+ for a pizza, I expect it to be hot and edible -- and I expect basic respect if there's an issue. I rarely leave negative reviews -- my Yelp is filled with positive feedback because I believe in supporting small businesses. I only post critiques when absolutely necessary to warn others. But Mike's behavior was truly outrageous. And based on his responses to other people's reviews, this is who he is -- hostile, combative, and unprofessional. Important final note: I never asked for my money back-- just a fair remake or a future credit. Instead, this owner chose to argue, accuse, and escalate the situation beyond belief. Depending on how he responds here, he can either do the right thing and take responsibility for cold pizza, verbal hostility, and honor a fair credit for a properly delivered XL pizza of the same value --or I will simply file a chargeback with my bank -- which will not only recover my funds but also cost him a fee. read more

My family & i ate here today for a late lunch. We were greeted & sat right away, the service was friendly & attentive. It was maybe 3:00 & wasn't very busy. The restaurant is decorated nicely & has a warm, family friendly atmosphere. We ordered the buffalo wings W/ blue cheese, house salad w/ ranch, & their combo pizza. The salad was delicious, it came w/ romaine lettuce, kidney beans, sliced beets, salami, a pepperoncini, chopped onion & carrots. I really liked their ranch too. The buffalo wings were just ok. We would have liked them a little crispier & w/ more buffalo sauce but they weren't bad. The pizza was delicious & the star of the show. Yummy crust, fresh ingredients, & the marinara was perfect. We are from out of town but met some friends here for dinner. The food was tasty but I can't say enough about the great service and friendliness of the staff. We had a couple tweens and a couple toddler age kids and they were extremely patient with the toddler chaos and my daughter got to help make her own pizza by putting the ingredients on herself at the table before they cooked it. My sons pizza was also running a bit late so they gave him a couple quarters to play on the vintage arcade games in the back. Overall a great experience! read more

Very very expensive pizza. Had the lunch special on a business trip and that came with a slice of pizza that you could choose up to 4 toppings and a side salad. I forgot the pic of the slice of pizza. The salad and pizza was good but for the price it was not worth it. $17 w/tax. The crust is thin, the ingredients were fresh and the sauce was good as well. I wanted a small pizza but just a small pizza alone was $25 without tax which is insane. I could see why there weren't busy at lunch time. There was only one other table and the service was slow.
