This place has changed ownership as the previous owner decided to retire. The new owners are a pair of sisters and have 12 years of experience! They are currently having deals at the moment. I sadly did not catch the name of the sister who did my eyebrows, upper lip, chin, and forehead threading. However she was very kind and addressed me by name. I have been going to Indian Threads since 2014 and have always loved Jasbir, unfortunately she retired and sold the shop. I was hesitant to come in because I am particular with who touches my eyebrows but decided to come in anyway. Let me tell you, Pavandeep is so good! She took her time, cleaned up my brows first then shaped them how I wanted. At the end she asked if I wanted aloe on my brows, I said sure and man, she massaged my eyebrows with the aloe. I will definitely keep coming to her. I will try other services in the future as her sister also works there and she does facials and waxing. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for over 10 years now and she is one of the best. Over the years, I've had my eyebrows threaded by a lot of people in a lot of different places I.e. I told the lady I was growing my eyebrows out & was just wanting them to match a little more & just to clean them up a bit. She was good & the process didn't hurt at all. Fast. But she completely messed up the shape of my brows I've been trying to grow. & on top of that the whole time she was threading she was trying to sell me different products for my brows. Brow gel. Finally found my place for threading.I walked in Sat evening as I was near the area waiting for my car to be ready from Americas Tire. The lady greeted me and advised to sign in as there was a couple ladies waiting in the waiting area which is pretty spacious.Wait was about 20 mins but def worth it. She was gentle and FAST. I came here a few weeks ago. I had just gotten my nails done at the place next door, and I wanted to get my eyebrows done while I was at it. I am not sure of the ladies name that did my eyebrows, but I do know that she was an older lady. She was very friendly, and she asked questions to get to know you a little bit. She was very patient. Whenever I get my eyebrows done, I move a lot. The place itself is very professional. There are chairs that lay back, and it is very clean. I would definitely recommend going there to get your eyebrows at a very decent price. read more

Two words: Painless Threading. Well, threading your cheeks and sideburns will always be a tad bit painful but it is way more tolerable here than at any other threading salon I guarantee it. I've been to them all. Not only is it ( virtually) painless, it's done fast and good too! The technician was able to wax my entire face and neck within a few minutes. It cost me 38 dollars which is pretty cheap considering the great service. The one downside, there is one person running this place. I have no idea how she keeps this place so clean when she's literally doing everything on her own. She also only takes appointments unless if it's for eyebrow threading. This salon is open until 7 on weekdays and 5 on Saturdays. I highly recommend. read more

Phew, I haven't gotten my brows threaded in a while and thank god I went to this place! I've been to both threading places in each mall and one in Lodi and they just can't compare to this one. The owner is friendly, informative, a good sales person and just all around wonderful. Her business is very clean and private: She has a waiting room so people don't stare at you while your work is being done. Best of all her prices are very fair. Her work is gentle (which is saying a lot if your getting threaded) and fast. I also noticed that when she did my threading, she never broke the thread once! She's a pro! In her business, she also sells Indian jewelry and some really nice make up products. If your not a fan of threading she also does waxing, facials and various massages. I really regret coming here. I chose this place because I read the reviews and a lot of people said it was a good place. I didn't realize it was only one woman working there. Okay that's fine. When she finally took me in for a threading, I thought I would like her because she made sure I was comfortable. As we were getting into the session, she kept telling me that I had uneven brows. Uh, that's why I'm here. So I could get them fixed. Then she proceeded to criticize me more by telling me one brow is shorter than the other. At this point, I just can't wait to leave. Ive had them done at a lot of other places and this lady really put a hurt on my poor brows. They were red for so long and she didn't even offer me any cooling gel until I had to ask. After she asked if I wanted to get my mustache done. I felt like she could've said "upper lip" instead of mustache. Really lady? Another thing is she charges an extra $1 for any transaction. Who does that?! Overall, the charge was $14. I've had them done for much quality places for $7. Never coming back here again. Yes, my brows look okay, but to deal with her criticism was not okay. read more

Also has a frequent flyer card for a free threading. The only hang up is she is by herself, so sometimes your kept waiting or she'll have to step away to get the phone, but she is still the best in town. This is the only place I will ever go to get my eyebrows threaded in Stockton. After trying a few places in the mall and around town, I have found the best place here at Indian Threads! Not only is Jasbir a sweet & kind person, she knows what looks good for your face shape. Her facials are awesome as well. The only thing I would change would be the fact that she is the only person who works here. So, while you are in the middle of relaxing during a facial or massage, she has to stop and answer the phone. It's not that bad since I keep going back. But, I really hope one day she hires someone to take the calls. I still give this place 5 stars. read more

Me and my brother have been going to jaspir for a while now and can I just say eyebrows on fleek she threads them so good and so painless even though I still get watery eyes but I get that all the time even with wax because my eye area and skin is super sensitive so I always get red on my forehead and get little bumps by eyebrows that day but the next day im fine my mom dosent have this problem she bever gets red, I just got really sensitive skin and i prefer threading over waxing now read more

Do not ever buy a gift certificate from here. First of all in CA there isn't supposed to be an expiration date when you pay for them PLUS, she charged me tax for them!!! When I bought them for my sister in laws for Christmas last year she put a 30 day limit on them. They didn't realize this and when they called to make their appointment, she wouldn't honor them. WTF??? I paid for them!!! So, I'm out my money, they are out of their Christmas gift and this lady who doesn't know the law gets to keep my money. If I had the time, I'd take her to small claims.
