The gentleman who helped us, looked at the part and went back to the stockroom to see if he could find one. And when he could not, he instead removed that same part from the floor display of one of his own water softeners. He said he would then just contact the manufacturer and get a replacement for himself later. But he made sure that we were taken care of. And the price was a whopping $3.62. In addition, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. This was my first time shopping at Economy Plumbing Supply today, and I am so grateful for this experience, that I'm going out of my way to make sure that I say thank you, and also give a heartfelt recommendation to them. In addition, I'd also like to thank the very nice woman who offered us coffee and donuts while we were there! The showroom was very nice with complete displays. I walked through and took some pictures of vanities and countertops that I liked. TERRIBLE!! STAY AWAY!! Our family purchased an item that they had to order (not one mention of it…read morebeing a custom order). Once we got it home, it was determined the new fireplace wouldn't work for our space and we had to return it. They are charging a 20% restocking fee!!! Never once did they say anything about it being a "custom order/20% restocking fee." I tried to understand why the restocking fee; they said it was to mail the fireplace back. WAIT!!?? It's going to cost them $500 to mail it back to the manufacturer?? I offered to pay the shipping to return it to the manufacturer if that was the issue. They weren't interested in that; they want to collect their $500 "RESTOCKING FEE." We have done a lot of business with this place in the past. In fact, this past Spring, we purchased a large chimenea that is already cracked straight up the middle. It's ready for the trash. This place sure has gone downhill over the last 5 years that we've made purchases with them.

We met with Bill, one of the owners of this locally owned business. Bill showed us examples of their custom fireplaces and kitchens. Indy Grills has been building outdoor spaces for 25 years, but this is their first brick and mortar showroom. I really want an outdoor kitchen, but I'm not sure where to put it. Bill will meet with you and examine the property to design and build the space. They also sell outdoor furniture and have an interesting selection of grills, ovens and other outdoor kitchenware. Bill let us look around with no pressure. We talked with him after and asked a few questions. The showroom is inspirational, to say the least. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. Worth a visit if you are considering adding a patio, deck or other outdoor space.

I thought they were trying to help when they messaged the company they bought the granite from but this company is taking no responsibioity for the granite cracking and passed the buck to the place they purchased it. The stone center has continued to improve over the 23 years I have been coming here. When we first…read morebought our home, we had a gravel driveway that I refreshed and widened to double wide. We put in a circle drive, fire pit, and bocce ball court, all with stone from stone center. It seems they treat there employees right as faces seem to stay the same. Always on time deliveries and extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Outdoor stone projects are on display now throughout the yard, so you can walk on different stone options. I have a smaller truck and cannot always get the whole load in one trip, but they allow me to come back as many times as it takes. They really know how to work with you here and make you feel like coming back for more rock.

I had the best experience on Thursday of this week. I needed a new pressure switch for my well…read morepump. There was a competitor supply store right around the corner from my house, but they were quoting twice the cost of the switch ($14.25 at central supply). So I drove 30 min to the east side (I live on the west side of Indy) because they had been friendly on the phone and it was half price compared to the other store near me. Once I arrived, I quickly found the parts counter and was somewhat unprepared to order as I was unsure what I needed. I had snapped several photos of my pressure switch/tank to help me. That's when one of the regular plumbers (who was ordering parts also) looked at my pics and totally helped me order all that I needed to do the job. While we waited for our orders to get picked from the warehouse, I continued to learn more about pressure switches from the nice plumber who had ordered my parts for me. The staff and patrons were friendly, and very helpful. I was able to also purchase the wires I needed as well as a new pressure gauge because they have both plumbing and electrical supplies. Total bill : $27.38. Competition : $32.50 for just the pressure switch. I will definitely come back for my next plumbing/electrical needs.
