They worked with us on determining the best product, provided a great quote, and the install had about a 60 day lead time...they are very busy! Lo-frills operation, family owned. They keep their overhead low and pass those savings on to their customers. Keeps them very busy, which means they keep full-time installers on staff; they do not use subs. Install crew arrived at 10AM and they were out the door by 4:30PM. Project was our upstairs, about 1100 sq ft, 4 bedrooms and our stairs.

Then on top of that it can take 3 weeks for a special order carpet. And who knows who is coming to do the job. Here I found what I wanted 8lb padding with plastic guard and soft carpets you want to sleep on. It took 7 days to deliver and was put in as soon as they could. If it wasn't for the darn holiday weekend and a prior appt. I could've had it done the day after delivery. The guy who owns it, puts down your carpet. It's like he backs up what he does. I like that in a business. On a side note, this is a truly ran family business. The installer is the owner. The guy who measures is his dad. The sales person, is literally everyone's grandma. So paying them made me feel good. How's that for service. They made me feel good while parting with my hard earned money. Do not go to Floors to Go. I can't vouch for their work. But I can vouch for the way they tried to be slick about charging me more money for my carpet by over estimating square footage, charging me for every little thing (removal, hauling, moving furniture, special staircase) and refusing to itemize what I was paying for. We had also wanted to replace the ceramic tiling in our bathroom and 2 other contractors gave us bids around $1000 just to remove that existing tile. Matt told us we should leave it in because it was nice ceramic tile and if we were to ever sell the house, the ceramic tile would be more desirable than the LPV we wanted to put in the bathroom. He could have made a lot of money off us removing the tiling and replacing it with a lesser quality product, but he didn't. The day the flooring was delivered to our house it was obvious that the wrong flooring was delivered. Matt immediately checked the style number and was able to determine the makers of the flooring had made an error. Since we had already put all our furniture in another room Matt offered to give us a break on the price. The installation was done by Alex who is not only outstanding at laying flooring, but he's a hoot to talk with. I would use these guys in a heartbeat for any future flooring needs.
