If you've ever been to a Pressed Cafe (yes, just one), you may be forgiven to assume they're all…read moremostly alike. This review is to tell you otherwise. Some are much larger (like this one). Some are drive-thru only (like the one near my house). I'm gonna talk about the former real quick. Naturally, the menu is basically the same. On this day, I was having lunch. Ergo, I opted to try the Chipotle Short Rib & Egg burrito (as a bowl because I'm a man of culture) accompanied with a cup of chowdah. I must say...I expected there to be a bit more flavor, what - with the Chipotle sauce n' all. Alas, I had to add my own salt. This is mostly a nitpick, but really...can we please season our beef? Just a lil bit even? So, the biggest difference you'll notice at this location is the parking situation. It's....annoying. Because on the one hand, you technically have ample amounts of spaces to park in. Or...you WOULD, if not for the signs en masse that read "[insert corporate company name here] parking only - all violators will be towed at owner's expense." I find this hilarious because I feel like that would be impossible to enforce for folks parking less than 10 minutes to pick up an order like I did. So, I guess my pro tip of the day would be: feel free to park wherever at your own risk if and ONLY if you're getting take-away. If you're actually dining in, I suppose you'll have to wait painstakingly for one of the few parking spots actually designated for Pressed specifically to open. By the way, if you're picking up a take-away order, the take-out shelf is smack dab next to their side entrance opposite the side where you would normally order your food. It's one of those "blink once and you'll miss it" type things the first time visiting. From my vantage point, this place stays quite busy. Not surprising, considering the Burlington area in general. Clearly, a lot of folks come here mid-work day which is also the only reason I came here to begin with. Overall, not a bad lunch stop, though the parking can be slightly obnoxious. I'm giving Pressed Cafe in Burlington 4 Chipotle Short Rib bowls dubiously seasoned out of 5.

This is a restaurant that is really about the food rather than the atmosphere and it's good…read moreIndian food. My wife and I stumbled on it while in the area. Egg is definitely prevalent in a lot of their dishes, but that doesn't necessarily mean its the star in everything and they do have other options. I'd say the best thing is their spices and sauces (they have varying spice levels for those who don't like spicy). Its definitely not a fancy place, but everything we had from baked samosas to the Hum-Tum was great. Only thing I'd add is make sure to check out their drinks. They have classic mango lassi, but other types too that looked really tasty though we weren't in the mood for anything besides the basic ones. We will definitely come back!

The inside is modern and bright, and it's great for either sitting down or grabbing takeout. You order through a kiosk, and sometimes the summer rolls aren't listed on it. I usually ask if they have any made that day, and I always grab one order if they do. They have great lunch specials from 11AM to 2PM that come with a drink. My go-to is the Banh Hoi Bowl with Crispy Pork Belly. The pork belly comes in huge chunks, and when you get those extra crispy pieces, it's a real treat. I'm still testing out the drinks to find my favorite, the Fresh Salty Limeade is a little too mild for me and the Passionfruit Jasmine Iced Tea is okay. Parking is easy, with spots right in front and wrapped around to the back in the lot they share with a clinic. Overall Service: The service here is always great, and everyone is friendly. I recently had a newer girl, or maybe I haven't seen her before working, who was telling me about the specials. She made them sound so good that I'm definitely ordering one on my next visit.

We had gone to see Encanto at AMC Burlington and planned to grab Buffalo wings afterward. It happened to be Women's Day, and the wait at the restaurant near the theater was incredibly long. We started looking for another option and ended up at Yard House. We've been coming back ever since. What has always stood out to us is the great service, family-friendly menu, and the quality of the food. The staff has consistently been welcoming and attentive, and that's a big reason we've remained loyal customers for so long. That said, over the last few years we've noticed a significant decline in the food quality. The service is still excellent, but the food just isn't at the same level it used to be. It's disappointing because this place set such a high standard for us. Personally, I'd rather pay a little more and see the restaurant maintain both its outstanding service and the food quality that made us fall in love with it in the first place.
