This is great place. they have a great, diversified food menus of salads, burgers, bowls and main dishes and a great craft beer selection. I came during the lobster roll special season, and the roll had a good amount of meat in the roll. My only complaint, and it is a small one, is that the picture they advertise is what you would be served off the docks in main. What my wife and I had could more accurately be described as a lobster salad on a roll. No chunks like you see in the as. More chopped lobster with added ingredients. Not that it was not tasty. First time visiting this place. Went on Sunday afternoon. The dinning room was mostly empty, but was told it was going to get busy, so I had to eat at the bar. The bartender & waitress was very friendly, but also overloaded, as it looked like she was handling all the tables in the bar, in addition to bar tending. It took a long time to place our order, and few/little check ups after that. Food was ok. I ordered the brunch burger. I couldn't tell if there was a fried egg on top (as described). The potato was a hash-brown (like you'd get at McDs), wasn't what I was expecting, I took it off the burger and enjoyed as a side. I will probably dine elsewhere based on the experience. Met for dinner with friends. Our server was super friendly and attentive and we were seated in a large booth in front of the kitchen. We shared an appetizer of risotto balls (aka arancini) Two of us ordered the scallop and corn risotto special. I got six scallops while my Fri only got five. While the dish was delicious, the risotto was luke warm and the scallops could have used a bit more char on them (we did not inform the server. I came here in search of my first lobster roll. Waiter was on point by telling me right now is a bit out of season and if I want my first lobster roll to be a memorable experience, get it seaside. Pretty honest opinion. He recommended the clam chowder though and it was spot on. Probably in the top 5 clam chowders of my life. On to the Prime rib. It came out rare, just how I wanted it. Twice baked potato was smoking hot and a side of Au Jus and horseradish sauce. Here is the only negative comment. The horse radish sauce was more mayo than horseradish. Easily solved though, as my waiter brought me a side of real horseradish that cleared my sinuses, promoted hair growth and turned my eyes blue. Just the way I wanted it. I want horseradish that will cure cancer and they had it. I will be breathing clearly for a week! Great place, good service, and a decor that is classy without being over the top. Here's a strong but credible review that sticks to the facts and is more likely to be taken seriously by readers: We had an incredibly disappointing experience at Burton's in Burlington and will not be returning. We ordered what should have been one of the simplest items on the menu--a steak cooked medium rare. Instead, it arrived well done. Our waitress was very pleasant, apologized, and immediately offered to have another steak prepared. Unfortunately, the replacement was even worse. This time the steak came out completely rare, to the point that it was not fit for safe consumption. At that point we asked to speak with the manager. The entire ordeal took well over 30 minutes, leaving one of us waiting while the other had already finished eating. What should have been an enjoyable dinner turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. By the time the replacement arrived, the evening was completely ruined. Mistakes can happen, but getting a steak wrong twice--first severely overcooked and then severely undercooked--is unacceptable for a restaurant that prides itself on quality. While our waitress did everything she could to help, the kitchen failed us twice, and the manager was unable to salvage the experience. We left extremely disappointed. We will not be returning to Burton's and cannot recommend it based on our experience. read more

The reservation process at Burton's Grill & Bar in Burlington was easy and straightforward enabling our party of 4 to secure a table at 6PM. We were promptly greeted and brought to a table, and when I requested a more comfortable and spacious booth that was empty, that was accommodated. Thank you. The restaurant was 80% capacity and the bar area a little less so on a Sunday evening. We ordered two different burgers; the Maxx Burger and the Classic Cheeseburger. Both were cooked to a perfect medium rare with one coming with crispy fries and the other a side salad, per request. I enjoyed the fried onion crisps on the Maxx burger instead of slices of red onion. Two salads were also ordered; the tai steak and the southwest chicken. Both were served in very large bowls with plenty of fresh lettuce and other produce offerings. We also ordered the key lime pie for dessert with whip cream which was equally delicious. Our waitress was pleasant and eagerly attended to our drink refill orders. All in all a very good experience in a casual, comfortable atmosphere. read more

Granted, my wife and I came in to eat at 2:30 and the place was pretty much empty, but when you're paying $120 for two, without alcoholic drinks, you expect more. We were seated promptly upon arriving because the dining room was completely empty and there was one or maybe two tables at the bar. No server came for the longest time until the hostess went back into the kitchen area to see what was going on. After a little longer wait, a young man showed up and provided very good service. I ordered the filet mignon with asparagus and mashed potatoes and the whole plate with abysmal. My medium steak was served medium well, asparagus was whittled pieces of greenery that were inedible, and mashed potatoes looks and tasted like they had been microwaved to be heated up. The only saving grace and the two stars is for the lobster roll that my wife enjoyed. However, for that price, the lobster roll should be all tail meat and not claw meat but it was half and half. Solid spot with good vibes and great service. Stopped by Burton's Bar & Grill in Burlington and had a really nice experience overall. The food was definitely solid - everything we ordered came out fresh and well-prepared. Prices were fair for the quality, which is always a plus. What really stood out, though, was the service. Staff was super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The place has a warm, cozy vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. We were going to order a bread refill, but our dinners were served quickly, and they were Burton's typically large portions. The pasta was declared to be very tasty, but the chicken piccata was bland. The risotto was excellent and almost completely consumed. The grilled cheese sandwich was very tasty, so large the diner took home half of the sandwich. The fries were tasty but limp. My selection, the Ahi Tuna Bowl, was very good, tasty tuna with a spicy mayo dressing. Overall, a good dining experience and a solid four-star visit, the same rating offered by my fellow Yelpers. Haven't dined here in years. We made a weekend brunch reservation after yoga because the location was convenient. Can't believe we forgot about this place- such a great experience. The hostess was friendly- it wasn't busy so she let us select our table- outside, lounge, bar or dining room. We chose the lounge because it was empty. There were a couple of disappointments, the biggest one being that they were out of the dish I really wanted to try, but overall it was a good experience. The hostess was so welcoming and Taylor, our service person was friendly, gave helpful advice, was gracious and the food was excellent. I ordered a drink with the house liquor and the server had it made with a more expensive brand. Padding the check? It is a small thing but honestly it really just annoyed me. Rib eye steak ($45) is a good flavorful 14oz. 28 day aged ribeye with bone marrow butter, seasonal vegetable, garlic mashed potatoes. Option to sub with Parmesan truffle fries.
