We went at peak lunch time on a Sunday and got right in. Service was good. I had the schnitzel grilled sandwich. It had Swiss cheese and the best mustard ever. It was very warm and crispy on the outside. It was very good but I would say the schnitzel was a little plain tasting. If it had a little more seasoning, it would be incredible. The texture was perfect. My husband had the schnitzel platter for one. He gave me his coleslaw and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It tasted homemade in a very good way. He liked everything he got and agreed with me on the schnitzel needing more seasoning. His potatoes were surprisingly tasty. I'd go here again!

Their oven baked steak is delicious as usual and it leaves you wanting more! The sides that were included were coleslaw, cottage cheese, (both the best I've ever had), bread, sliced potatoes and it comes With a side of gravy. Green beans were terrific with real bacon pieces mixed in. This place brought back all of their original recipes and they are amazing! The service was really fast and the waiter was very kind to us! If you ever want a meal where it leaves you wanting to come back again and again then this place is worth putting it on your to do destinations. The Amana Colonies where the Ronnenberg is located has so many places to stop in and see. Worth your time to make a trip up there!

This bakery has a wide selection of cookies, breads, pastries and more. They had a strawberry…read morerhubarb bread-like-cake on sample when I went and I really regret not buying that because it was very tasty. I did get 3 items from the bakery cases. First was a chocolate eclair. It was like a long creme puff with chocolate ganache on top and yellow filling in the middle. Reminded me of a Boston cream pie only in cream puff form. I thought it was ok. I would have really liked the filling to have more vanilla flavor. The puff part was a good texture. The ganache was mildly chocolatey. The second item was a blueberry cream-cheese pastry. I wasn't wowed by it. The cream cheese maybe needed more vanilla. The third item was a creme horn. I liked it, but again I wished the filling had a bit more vanilla. Also at the very end, it was hollow, so save some of the creme at the big end for the little end so you get a more balanced bite. All of the items are presented with great care and beautifully displayed. I just wanted a bit more flavor. I would go back and I would try different items.

The baristas were friendly though. The store was clean and offered two levels of indoor seating and the front porch outdoors. There's sweets and gifts you can purchase to go as well.
