I accidentally placed an order with a pickup time 15 minutes after I'd ordered (that's what I get for lending someone my phone to map us back to our hotel). They were so kind and apologetic (I should've been the one apologizing to them!) when my food wasn't ready at the time my order said. They tossed in a complimentary dessert. BLUF. The food is good but it's not any more spectacular than many other places I've been I went with four others on a Sunday afternoon. The service was friendly, but I found like we were being rushed along. This was surprising because they were perhaps five tables with people at them in the entire restaurant and we were the only one in this particular waitress" service area. I had mango lassi as my drink, which is usually a go-to thing anytime I visit an Indian restaurant. It was very good and not overly sweet, but it lacked that little bite / tang that I've come to expect in lassi. The mango avocado salad was very delicious, mostly because it had a wonderful dressing on it that had just a little bit of zip to it. The tandoori chicken was not only beautiful to look at but moist and delicious. We had their fried pork dumplings, which were okay but nothing spectacular. My biggest criticism there is that they were on the menu as being hot, and I found them to actually be a little bland. Would I go back? If others were going and I happened to be nearby yes. But it would not be a destination that I would pick out because although it was good it wasn't any more special than other places I've been to nearby. read more

As far as Indian cuisine goes, this restaurant makes some of the best tasting. That's because they make Indian-Chinese fusion cuisine. They take traditional Indian food and give it some Chinese ingredients like hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and/or others. What's their Chinese food like? We tried one of their most popular Chinese dishes along with 4 other dishes. 1) Dynamite Orange Shrimp It had crispy breaded shrimp coated with a moderately spicy sauce and a light orange colored sauce drizzled on top. The shrimp was cooked well and tasted fresh. The sauces combined tasted like a Chinese soy sauce based brown sauce with a moderate amount of pepper, too much salt, and a hint of citrus flavor. We've had this dish before, so this was disappointing because the sauce was not as good. Overall, it was still flavorful. 2) Pork Belly It had pieces of thick sliced pork belly that were slow cooked for 24 hours, then coated with a spiced orange glaze. The pork was grilled until the exterior was crispy. The glaze had flavors of honey, ginger, and orange zest. The taste and texture were excellent! Some pieces had too much fat, but otherwise, it was savoriness extraordinaire. 3) Lamb Vindaloo It had slow cooked lamb in a red sauce. It came with basmati rice and 4 pieces of naan. The sauce was very hot with spice flavors of Northern Indian curry. It had depth and a full flavor. It tasted like a mixture of clove, cinnamon, garlic, ginger, chile oil, onions, and salt. The lamb was tender, moist, and not gamey. This was an outstanding dish as long you can take the heat! We loved it! It was a little too hot for me, but I took care of that by eating the naan afterward. 4) Chow Mein It comes with a choice of chicken, shrimp, or veggies. We picked shrimp. It had stir-fried noodles with vegetables and soy sauce. It was dry-sauteed like Chinese lo mein. Although it looked like lo mein, the flavor was completely different. It was smoky, charred, and peppery with flavors of Indian curry spice and soy sauce. The noodles were stir-fried to a light crispness. The shrimp were tender, lightly charred, and small in size. This dish was delicious with a unique taste and texture. 5) Rice Pudding Soft cooked rice with 3 types of milk, cardamom, coconut shavings, and almond slivers. It was mildly sweet with a light milky flavor, which included some coconut milk along with a strong cardamom flavor that had a woodsy taste like cinnamon bark without the cinnamon and a hint of eucalyptus. Not the best rice pudding we ever tasted, but it was made well. The service was impeccable. Our server checked on us often. Water was refilled often. The manager asked us if everything was satisfactory. I couldn't ask for more! The dining room and restrooms were very clean. The modern upscale dining room with multiple big screen televisions made the ambiance inviting and comfortable. We plan on returning to try more dishes. I gladly recommend a visit! read more

First time trying this restaurant. We ordered Samosa, aloo gobi, and salmon tikka masala and garlic naan. Portions were great (we have leftovers to enjoy at home!) All were excellent. Had an excellent meal experience from both a service and food quality perspective. We started with martinis followed by appetizers and main dishes. Chicken Vindaloo was spicy and tasty. I was given a yogurt dish to mellow the heat. Salmon was a large piece and perfectly cooked. Butter chicken may have been the best had in years. Wow, this place exceeded our expectations! The chicken tikka masala was incredibly flavorful and rich, but the highlight for us was definitely the ribs from the happy hour menu. They were so good that we wished we'd ordered the full dinner portion! Very tasty food. Came in around 3pm on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy. There were four of us and we got chili chicken, butter chicken wrap, and chicken biryani. It was enough food for all of us. I personally liked the chili chicken and biryani the most. Her recommendations were spot on and if she didn't know, she would find out. Including sending the manager over to tell us about a bottle of wine. Great dinner! Ordered 3 appetizers and all were very tasty. The Gobi Manchurian which was fried cauliflower, dynamite shrimp and the chicken Momo. Ordered the butter chicken and the chicken tikka, butter chicken roll which was 2 rolls with fries, the salmon with chickpeas and mushrooms and the spinach paneer which had a spicy kick. Also ordered the side of the homemade spicy sauce for $1 and the garlic naan. Everyone enjoyed their meals and service was outstanding. It seemed like there was a mistake on the garlic naan. There were only two small pieces and no garlic flavor. It was a single piece of naan that had been cut in 4 and only 2 pieces of the 4 were in a basket so really small portion for $4. Everything was tasty but if I order for myself, I will pick pot belly and butter chicken. These two dishes are fantastic. The flavors, texture, and portion were right all the way. *Services: since they don't have an online booking system, you will have to either call or email to make reservations. I emailed them to update my reservation but it didn't go to the system. However the host was very nice and quickly accommodated us. The food was more than to be desired. The Crispy Kale Chat, the Dynamite Shrimp and the Samosas were so fresh and flavorful. For entrees we had the Butter Chicken, Chicken Masala and Allo Gobi Mutter. The spices and flavors just exploded in your mouth. I had the Rack of Lamb. They give me 3 double bones that were so well seasoned and grilled to perfection. Some of the best lamb I have ever had. So much food that I took some home. We finished the meal with their Gulab Jamun for dessert. It was so light and decadent I wanted more. The food was alright. Samosa was good. Chowmein didn't have any salt, like zero salt. Kale chaat was good but was missing yogurt, luckily I had ordered raita to was able to use that one. Naan was not fresh made, it was frozen naan heated. Oil used to fry gobi Manchurian had a distinct smell. Rasmalai was served in plain milk instead of Rabri, milk sauce it comes in traditionally.
