    Manchurian chicken rice bowl, sub rice for noodles+$1.50

    If this is your only option it works but if there are other food trucks my advice is to pass on IndoChinese. Portions are big and the lines are short but there is absolutely nothing noteworthy about the food. I got a Manchurian chicken rice bowl (sub rice for Hakka noodles for +$1.50) and it was very underwhelming for the $18.12 price tag before tip. Decent spice level but that is really all I could taste. No complexity of flavor at all. The menu also said that the rice bowl comes with a salad but mine did not. Panda Express has this place beat by a mile. Pros Big portions Fast service Cons Expensive for what you get Lacked depth of flavor

    No respect for VEGETARIAN - We ordered vegetarian food. However there were pieces of chicken in between pieces of paneer. I understand if the order accidentally delivers a chicken dish, but this was a paneer dish with pieces of chicken in between. Very poor food handling and no focus on food quality.

    We really enjoyed our takeout meal. It was our first order so we tried a noodle dish, chicken dish, soup, and rice. All were flavorful and pleasantly spicy! Takeout was easy and order was ready for pickup on time!

    First of all, the location tagged is wrong. Secondly, the food was nothing great. I was hoping to re-live some of the flavors from home (India) but this was way below average. I would happily eat Thai food.... And for that, I would totally recommend Manao Thai, Capitol Hill. We tried the Chicken Fried Rice, the Chilly Chicken and the Chicken Lollipop. Pretty basic order right? Right. But the gravy was terrible. It didn't feel like a Chilly chicken at all. The rice was below average and honestly needed way more flavor. Lollipop was fine but the sauces were atrocious spicy; so spicy you can't even taste any flavor in it. The fortune cookies were a great touch, but if the food doesn't shine, what can 2 cookies do.

    Pretty good food, it will satisfy your indochinese cravings. I ordered the chicken Manchurian rice bowl. Spice levels were decent. Not too over the top. It's quite pricy for 18+ dollars but the quantity is also more.

    Got Stale chicken when I've ordered the Chilli Crispy Chicken. Was upsetting to spend $18 to get stale chicken.

    This place has really great indo Chinese food. chicken Hakka noodles and chilli Chicken are a must try !

I had my all time favorite dish at a Hong Kong café cuisine, gon caau ngau ho (乾炒牛河), aka beef chow fun, along with a childhood favorite drink, iced Horlicks. I liked how everything moved at a quick pace here and yet the staff were still friendly. The best part was that no one stopped by to ask how the food was while your mouth was full, because they already knew the food was good. The beef chow fun was just as good as the ones back home. It was savory and full of wok hei (iykyk). The bean sprouts were added at just the right time, so they were still a slightly crunchy. The sliced beef was tender too. If you like adding extra spice, be sure to try the crunchy chili sauce on the table. It was awesome, fragrant, spicy, and full of flavor. Just be careful not to choke on it, I did, and it wasn't fun. I hadn't had Horlicks in twenty years, and the first sip brought back so many memories. Be sure to stir it well and maybe wait until the ice melts a little, otherwise it may be slightly too sweet. My partner is a vegetarian. He looked through the entire menu and said there weren't many things he could order (listen, people, choose your future SO accordingly if you like sharing big meat dishes). He ended up ordering the curry vegetable rice and added a fried egg. He said the curry was delicious. I tried a bite of it and agreed. I think there may have some coconut milk in it because it was rich and creamy. The rice was a little too dry to my liking. Sitting there and listening to the background music from the Hong Kong TV news, I felt like a kid again.

I had been meaning to check Tai Tung out, and having a group is a great opportunity to try a variety of dishes family style. We ordered the fried chicken wings, half peking duck, beef chow fun, beef in oyster sauce (Bruce Lee's favorite), crab fried rice, and noodles with tofu (one girl had to be healthy!) The food was solid and nostalgic. It reminded me of the kind of Chinese food I would get in the 80s and 90s when we went out for Chinese food in New Jersey. We stayed, talking, until the restaurant closed. As my friends packed up and said their goodbyes, the staff noticed me looking around at the different tables. I wanted to find Bruce Lee's favorite table, which I had seen on online reviews of Tai Tung. The staff member very proudly brought us all into the next room, turned on the lights, showed us the photos on the wall, and told us about the history. We got a history and culture lesson with our meal. Best of all, our friends all congratulated me on the "great find!" of a restaurant, and isn't that the kind of validation every Yelper wants?
