When questioned by the warranty company, they stopped responding entirely. Another licensed HVAC company inspected the system and confirmed it only required an $80 repair -- not a full replacement. Yes, I ended up paying a bit more; but because of the personal service and attention I understood why. There was no blame, no demands to pay up, nothing negative about the situation at all.
