Over the phone, he was able to answer all of my queries and gave me a quick run-down of all the different services they provide and an accurate quote for an inspection on the house. He was also able to answer all of my "what-if" questions and ease my nerves by giving me a step-by-step on what to expect. Although my window for inspection was only 7 days, he was also able to squeeze me in for an inspection and got me my report within 3 days! I'm super grateful for that. On the day of the inspection, Abe and Nick let me join in on the process and even encouraged me to take my own notes. Every step of the way was a learning process for me and I gained a ton of new knowledge on structural info, safety, energy saving tips and more on the house. His prior firefighter expertise allowed him to give us more insights regarding potential fire hazards and other safety codes that we may otherwise would have missed. From the start he was clear and descriptive with everything he noted. We walked through every spot in the house and showed me as he went what he found and what that meant for me as the buyer. Charles has been phenomenal in helping us decide if a house we are considering buying is safe for our health issues (and, if not, what we can do to make it safe. the tests aren't all back yet!). Tho he had to travel quite a way, his inspection was meticulous and beyond thorough. He spent nearly 8 hours going into every nook and cranny. He knows where to look, how to ensure the home is safe including the furnace and HVAC system. He was also very careful with making sure we would not overspend on unnecessary tests which we appreciate (altho we went for some more expensive ones at the get go anyway). And then after that full day, he hustled to make fedex to ensure the tests would be evaluated in a safe and expeditious timeline and THEN dropped off the cultures to the lab in person.
