We worked with Indoor Greenery to source plants for a birthday bash. The venue had super high ceilings so we needed tall and full plants. They had an amazing selection of mature and beautiful plants. We moved into our new corporate offices in a high-rise office building in uptown Oakland back in 2011 and it took us a few months to get everything situated but it wasn't until we added plants that our working environment felt complete. The thought of having to purchase plants and have someone on staff be responsible for watering, pruning, and replacing them over time was daunting, and nobody wanted to, or felt qualified, to do it. We found Indoor Greenery through a google search, and after meeting with them, and several other vendors, it was clear they were the ideal partner for us. And our experience ever since has been fantastic! Not only do they know their plants, but one of the owners (Rita) came to our office several times to measure the amount of natural light (candles) we got in specific places. That's how she was able to recommend the specific plants for each location in the office. Every other week, a service tech with a green thumb comes and waters the plants that need watering, he trims and prunes as needed, and if any of the plants look like they're suffering, he makes a note of it, and will replace it with a new plant on his next trip. For a reasonable monthly fee, we've had healthy looking plants in our entryway, conference rooms, offices, etc. and haven't had to worry about them once. The staff is very courteous and they're good about calling when they plan on stopping by to water the plants, and they're practically unnoticeable while they're here in the office. If you're looking for a vendor to work with on corporate plants and greenery for your offices, I highly recommend Indoor Greenery. We have always struggled maintaining our office plants, that were inherited by us from a former tenant. We tried assigning each plant to an employee for watering. Bottom line was we ended up for over a year with over a dozen sad and mostly dead plants in our office. They were not only an eyesore but potentially toxic to our office air quality. We have been renting plants from Indoor Greenery to improve our office space for over ten years. We are a small engineering firm with six employees and everyone agrees, plants make people happy. The plants are beautifully maintained and replaced seasonally or whenever needed. Joel comes by our office on a regular basis to check on the plants and he always calls first to be sure someone is available. A couple of years ago, we had the floor of our office space refinished over the Christmas/ New Years holiday. Rita came and loaded up all the plants in the company van and stored them for us until the floors were finished. Some of the plants didn't fare so well in the moving process and they were immediately swapped out. Like some of the other reviewers, I purchased several plants when I first opened my physical therapy and wellness studio downtown. Within weeks they were dead. I decided to look into plant rental, which really did seem like an absurd concept for our small space, but has actually turned out to be a very smart choice! My office manager contacted Rita at Indoor Greenery and scheduled a meeting a few days later. Rita visited our space and listened to our ideas. She made a few suggestions and measured the light in several spaces where we thought we wanted a plant. Within 3 weeks, our plants were ordered and delivered.
