Brandon was very kind and informative throughout this whole process. Diagnostic fee was 200 something dollars. Got called saying my fuel pump was bad and it would be running me 1200 ish with the diagnostic fee included. I bit the bullet and agreed to have it fixed. Didnt feel like I had any options. I was told this would be a start to solving problems but not a definite. (Pretty expensive start, why not start out with the smaller issues?) Then I was told the cam shaft position sensor would need changed. Okay. Another 100 ish dollars. I got another call on May 12th 2026 stating the jeep is starting right up. Awesome. I pick it up, get home a couple blocks away and it stalled on me and had a hard time starting (original issue). I called the shop back and they said I could come back and theyd look at it free of charge but now im just frustrated because I spent 1,388 dollars to have the same issues. O2 sensor didnt get fixed even though the check engine light is on for that. Curious as to why they didnt start out with the sensors, why did they jump straight to fuel pump causing the problem? Im not sure. Excellent customer service in the front desk area but they got all I had in my savings as a working single mother. Ill be taking business elsewhere and get some different eyes on it.

I felt the need to update on the pricing. They used to charge $200 for diagnosing a check engine…read morelight. That is just to figure out what is wrong and not part of what the repair will cost you. Now, I understand that they can't just waste their time chasing codes for free, but yes that was a little steep. I paid it because I needed my car repaired, and I really do like them. That being said, they now charge $253 to diagnose a check engine light. I just cannot afford to pay $250 simply to walk in the door before the repair pricing even begins, so I have had no choice but to take my car repair business elsewhere. They do a fantastic job, the techs are wonderful, the repairs have been good, but they have priced me out of being able to take my car to them. I do recommend them if you can afford them because they do good work. Just be prepared for the price.

They blamed the extra cost on recalibration, and said they didn't know how much that costs ahead of time. Giving a low initial quote and then jacking up the price once the work is done is downright shady. I will note that I also got a quote from Dingman's that was slightly higher than Kaizen's quote (though lower than the final bill) that did include a flat cost for recalibration, so apparently they figured it out. It took 5 weeks to get the car into the shop, which is fine (every place is busy these days). Two days after dropping it off, they informed me I'd be without my car for 2 weeks, which seemed like a long time for a simple fix (no spare parts or anything). The day I was supposed to pick it up, I called in to see when it would be ready; only then was I informed it would be a further 2 days. Note they never called me. Between the completely wrong estimate, the long repair time, and the complete lack of communication, I would have assumed this is the first time they've fixed a car. In retrospect I should have asked more questions, but I naively assumed that the shop would be honest and accurate in their communication. Then again if they had been honest, I might have chosen a different shop. The cherry on top was that when I got my car back, they had broken the driver-side seatbelt (it wouldn't retract). They did fix it within a half hour (nice of them), but the employee who gave me my keys told me that the guy who had reassembled the seatbelt just didn't care about doing a good job. I will leave it there without further comment.

I would give zero stars, but I don't think that's possible, they washed the outside of my car, and…read morethey did great body work. I sent my through a Geico insurance claim after a hit and run. The driver fender and driver door was damaged, and the suspension was knocked out of alignment. I have a scratch in my driver side mirror that wasn't there after my car was hit. There was some kind of grease on the mirror and driver side window. There was grease left under the sun visor on the driver side. I had a pretty nice Captain America themed steering wheel cover that is now ruined due to one of the grimy workers smearing grease all over the cover and upon trying to clean it, rubbed off most of the color. The cover is now mostly grease colored. Someone at the shop took everything in the passenger side of the vehicle as well as the back seat of the vehicle, and threw it all into the cargo area of the vehicle. Now tell me, why do you need to get into the back seat while doing body work? I can see the floors were vacuumed, which is great, but who gave you the right to throw everything into the cargo area? I would recommend this shop for great work, but I'm pretty steamed about the rest of what they did. And let me add, I didn't ask for my car to be washed. I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth, but I'm that kind of person.
