As I was leaving, I realized that she had forgotten to charge me for the alignment, which I pointed out and paid for. However, after driving about five miles away, I noticed that the alignment had not properly centered the steering wheel; it was noticeably off, around the 1:30 position. Firestone said all 4 tires were bad and they refused to just fix the flat tire. We needed the vehicle and my husband had them put on one tire, $140. He asked for the old tire to take home; not too pleased with that request but he did get the tire. Subsequently, we went to the dealer to have them look at the tires to see if they needed replaced. The dealer did fix the flat tire and we had them put the original tire back on the vehicle. They stated all four tires were at worst at half life. Firestone stated the tires were at 2/32 and the dealer measured the tread depth at 4/32 and 5/32 when inspecting the tires! Needless to say, we will NEVER return to the 50th and L location. It's sad they took advantage of an elderly man!!
