Stopped in to grab food while our friends were out at the bars. While it was loud, we were able to grab a table and chat above the music. Food was good. To Whom It May Concern, I will be coming back tomorrow, and I expect to speak directly with upper management not whoever that disrespectful individual was claiming to be the "manager" last night. Let me explain something clearly: I had a great time until I lost my keys and simply asked for help. Instead of being treated like a human being, I was immediately shouted at, talked over, and disrespected by this so-called manager. He assumed I was intoxicated I was not and didn't even give me the chance to say one sentence before he started power-tripping like he had something to prove. His behavior was completely unprofessional, aggressive, and uncalled for. If this is the type of person you have in charge of your facility, especially during the late shift, then you have a serious problem on your hands. He lacked basic self-control, people skills, and any ability to de-escalate or manage a simple situation. That's not a manager that's a liability. I work in management in the service industry, and I would never tolerate that kind of conduct from one of my employees. Frankly, I wouldn't hire someone like that in the first place. His attitude was disgusting. If he can't handle interacting with the public -- sober or not then he shouldn't be in any customer-facing role, period. Let me be very clear: this will be followed up on. I don't care if it was 2 a.m. there is zero excuse for the way I was spoken to. I wasn't the problem. He was. I could've been someone important and guess what? Now I am someone who is going to make sure this situation is addressed. He needs to be retrained, reprimanded, or replaced. Went here on a Fri early evening. They weren't busy at all. The wait time was awful. 10-15 min wait for greeting and water. We had to waive down a server to place our order. We were staying in Fort Worth over the weekend and decided we wanted a brunch place with mimosas. The food looked really good so we picked Resevoir bar, patio, & kitchen. We arrived a little after they opened. Cute place within the Cultutal Center with outdoor seating and a large bar. Our waitress was super friendly & helpful. I came with 2 other friends, so we shared the Everything, but the kitchen sink & the strawberry French toast. The platters were definitely big enough to share. The mimosas we fantastic & they don't serve them in those rinky dink champagne flutes. They serve them in tall beer glasses. Be careful at 3 bucks each, you could easily drink more than you should. The food was so good, full of flavor, and very filling. The ambiance was nice. I didn't use the bathroom, so I couldn't tell you about that, but the restaurant itself is clean & family friendly. They do have tvs & a couple of sport options were playing, so I'm sure the restaurant can get packed when there are major games. Being from California & reminiscing the days when a brunch with friends was inexpensive, I can appreciate that the bill for the 3 of us was slightly over 50 bucks. Usually come to this bar to eat and drink with friends, such a great atmosphere and service is always great. Except St. Paddy's day this past Tuesday with quite literally the rudest server i've ever encountered in my whole life, Analy started off great with her introduction then it quickly went downhill. She greeted us per usual, we ordered the happy hour margs (come in a goblet) and she brings out small glasses when we asked she simply retorted that they ran out so this would have to do. We shrugged it off then ordered food which we waited well over an hour for, and i'm all about giving the server the benefit of the doubt, so we were more than understanding. However after an hour passed we tried to flag her down to get a status on the order she deliberately ignored us, was scrolling on her phone and even had time to take a shot at the bar with a customer. We had to get up ask a bartender wait MORE time ask another server and when that server asked Analy about the status of our order she threw her hands up and rolled her eyes. Only then did she come to our table just to advise us the food wasn't ready, which we already figured after an hour and some change. We told her it was fine and we would just cancel our order, somehow one cook was able to make all the food alone yet a floor full of servers was unable to run it. Analy gave us so much unnecessary attitude for cancelling the food order and charged us full price for our half sized margaritas. The table next to us left after waiting over 30 minutes for a round of drinks (she was also serving them). I understand being busy but as servers ourselves we understand we have to communicate that with our guests and never did at any point. We paid our tab and tipped regardless of the horrible service, only because we love reservoir and hope to come again, as long as Analy isn't serving us! read more

Really great spicy Bloody Mary and a really nice patio. We actually got the food for free. It was a kitchen mistake so the waiter gave it to us for free since we hadn't ordered food. The food...OMG! The meatloaf is exquisite. They manage to add different textures to what is usually a bland and soft food. It's kinda crisp but super moist. Fried onion on top like why the added indulgence, and they are what every meatloaf could use. Delicious, fluffy mashed potatoes with brown gravy which should always be the standard. And these beautiful green beans cooked perfectly with a garlic sauce. So good!!!! This dish could literally go for twice as much. This isn't a bar with food, it's an amazing restaurant with a bar. The portions are Texas grande so if you are with a friend considering splitting an app and dish. The reason it doesn't get the full 4 stars is simply because of the descriptions of food. They aren't accurate to what you get. The surprise factor was there of "oh I guess this is what I ordered" and tbh the food was fantastic. This is a very cool bar in the West 7th area. They have two huge bars, with lots of seating, and also plenty of tables, including an outside patio. The bartender was very friendly and very knowledgeable about their selection. The air conditioner was very adequate (for a hot 109 day) and the nose level was just right (not to loud to talk to your friends, but music could be heard over the crowd). After sitting down at the bar, with 4 other people at the ENTIRE bar, we had to literally flag down the bartender for drinks well after 10 minutes. The service never got better. Time after time, we waited, and waited. Patiently. Kindly. However, the bartender was more interested in a companion at the bar than actually providing service. The atmosphere is great, and the food is phenomenal. But this place isn't worth waiting hours upon hours just to get a few drinks and food, no matter how slow it is. This was my first time at Reservoir and I can say it was a good time. We had gone there to grab a drink and get something to eat and we were able to find a table immediately. There was plenty of open space and where to sit. Our waitress was nice and attentive. I decided to go ahead with their wings an my boyfriend got the pizza. The wings were delicious and had just the right about of sauce to them. My boyfriend raved about how to pizza was fresh and flavorful. They have so many different things on their menu to choose from that there is something for everybody. Even though their Texas whiskey pizza was good, I won't be going back anytime soon. Everything was great until new customers sat in the table in front of us and immediately started to throw up in a beer bucket (never getting a bucket there again). We told the staff and after they told them they did indeed threw up a little.. they did nothing. But wait there's more... after a couple of minutes, the bucket was shared with another person who was worse and I even showed our waitress what was going on. She said it was going to be taken care of but instead... staff came to ask us what we saw and that they don't see a bucket but clearly we could. He allegedly said he was too sober for that (and so was I) so he just walked away and didn't do anything. We left immediately after.
