I didn't catch his name in person, bug if "server" on the receipt means driver, then Kenneth was his name and he was very nice. But first, the bad. I ordered my food at 6:44pm from my hotel which is 6.4 miles away, according to yelp. The gentleman that took my order over the phone seemed as if it was his first time taking an order. He was very slow and I had to repeat myself several times. He said they were "backed up" tonight and it would be about 45 minutes.... after an hour, I called to see what the status was. The guy said the driver was "on his way now". Another half an hour passes, I call again. They were apologetic, however it has still been an hour and a half since I ordered my food. Two hours on the dot, my food arrives. The delivery driver was extremely nice. And I told him that I understood that he was not the reason for the late food, and I still tipped him 30% for being both nice, and understanding. After all, it's not the delivery drivers fault. I ordered 16 of the honey sriracha traditional wings. The flavor was good but the wings were completely dry. I also ordered the fried mushrooms. They were good, but nothing to write home about. I also understand there is a big racing convention or something of the sort going on in town and that's the cause for the busyness. However, if you give me an estimated time of arrival, and you are an hour past that, it's going to upset me just a little bit. I may try this place out again, I travel to Indianapolis every month. I tried Indy All Night for the first time yesterday. Ordered a blackened tilapia sandwich with fries, plus some breadsticks and cheese sauce. My call was answered quickly by a friendly staff person who told me my order would be delivered in 30 - 40 minutes. The order arrived in just under 30 minutes. Impressive. The blackened tilapia was delicious. Big filet, well-seasoned and prepared - and thicker than I expected. Very nice. Included was slices of tomato, onion and pickle, plus shredded lettuce. Only problem with the sandwich was that the bottom of the bun was soggy from the fish. Still, really good sandwich. The fries were generic and the temperature was what you'd expect from a delivery order. The breadsticks and cheese sauce was acceptable, but nothing special. The best part of this restaurant is that it delivers at all odds of the night, and doesn't just deliver pizza. Many of their items are very tasty. I love their Southwestern Chicken Salad. The chicken is well seasoned and fresh tasting. I also love their onion rings which come with a cajun sauce. I wouldn't recommend the All Night Burrito. The cheese was overwhelming and tasted as if it came out of a can, but hey one bad item is not bad for a place that delivers all night. The only decent thing about this place is that they are open late, and even then it's not worth it unless you are sloshed out of your mind and aren't going to taste it anyway. The crust is clearly some frozen mess that they slap some bland flavorless sauce on and cover with equally disgusting cheap toppings. I've ordered from them at least a dozen times in the last few months, since the fall semester started. I've always been extremely satisfied with their service. I've had their pizza, chicken and shrimp dinners, wraps of various kinds, the burger with onion rings on it, their pasta, mozz sticks, and their philly tater potato bowl. I've read the other reviews on yelp and can honestly say that I haven't experienced what the other reviewers have. I order online so I can't speak to their telephone etiquette but the delivery men have always been courteous. My food has been fantastic given that their dishes essentially consist of different arrangements of the same basic ingredients, just in a bun, tortilla, salad, etc. They always arrive hot and never seem to have sat under a heat lamp. I will continue to order from them because their food hits the spot when you need it most. One reviewer mentioned that their food looked like it had been tipped sideways and I have to admit that the very first time I ordered from these guys the driver dropped someone's order as he was handing me mine and the container rolled over several times, I commented that I hoped it was a tossed salad and was glad that he didn't drop my stuff. Sorry to whomever's food that was. These guys are great, not gourmet, but great. If you're looking for 5 star at 4 o'clock (am) you need to lower your expectations. I always recommend them to my friends because overall the food is good, usually served hot, and the delivery drivers have been so nice. Tonight I ordered the philly and mozzarella sticks. My order came within a half an hour! The delivery driver called me before he arrived informing me he would be here in about 3 mins. The only bad experiences I have had have been because of long waiting times. If you order on a busy night take account that there are few drivers, and they're probably busy. The service was quite poor though the food was fine. No one would pickup the phone. Therefore, we placed an online order which stated that the delivery would be in an hour. The delivery person arrived an hour and a half later. My 14 year old nephew opened the door to accept the delivery and had asked her why it took so long. Guys, it's a late night delivery joint and in my experience thus far, they deliver! I ordered with them via Uber eats. Uber Eats crap the bed. My food sat at Indy all night for least 45 minutes. I called Indy all night and they informed me that Uber eats was not coming to pick up my delivery. I called uber they quickly issued me a refund and then I called indy all night to reinstate the order to my house. I am lucky that I was close enough to their point of sale that I didn't experience a loss in quality. Whoever was on staff nailed everything after I cancelled with uber. Got my order in literally 10min after fixing the Uber mess. The manager even threw in a little something as a "thanks for dealing with Uber eats". The food was exactly what I was hoping for. The burger was no Kuma's Korner, but I didn't expect it to be. It was a well prepared loaded diner burger in my best description. The pizza had great toppings with an ok sauce and cheese combo with a serviceable crust (Goodfellas has the best in my opinion). BUT it crushed my expectations for what we needed at the moment. I've ordered from Indy All Night twice now and the experience was horrible both times. First time, the phone was picked up by a rough sounding dude who I could barely understand and was rude, and the food that we ordered was so greasy we couldn't eat most of it! Second time around I thought maybe we just had a bad experience and tried again. Waited on hold for about 10 minutes, I was pleasantly surprised that the person taking my order was nice! However, when it came time to get the food delivered somehow the delivery guy had had someone let him in my building and instead of calling my phone, was pounding on our door. We of course didnt hear him at first because we were on the second floor (my roommate was asleep on the first mind you !!) When my boyfriend finally answered the door, the delivery guy gruffly, exasperatedly went "My god ! Geez... !" and continued being extremely rude through the transaction.
