When I got on the phone with them they told me it would be $1,500 (over triple what we were quoted elsewhere), and I immediately declined. They then condescendingly told me if I take the cheap route it would ruin the house, while not knowing who the other company is or what the quote even is to do. When I read their quote in depth the only additional think they were charging for was a roof inspection when they advertize that their estimates are free. Just a giant waste of everybody's time.

Anthony's communication was the best I have ever experienced with a contractor. He showed up when he said he would, and if anything needed to change he called or notified me right away. He also worked with me to make sure the final product matched what I had in mind. At one point he even stopped and redid part of the work because he felt it was not up to his standards, which says a lot about the pride he takes in his work. The finished carport is sturdy, well built, and looks like it belongs in the backyard. It feels much more premium than the cost would suggest. After comparing prices with prebuilt carport kits at Home Depot, I know I ended up with a far better product for a fair price. I would absolutely hire Anthony and his team again, and I plan to have them back in a few months to paint it. I have NEVER received a quote from this company for ANY work. I have screen shots of me asking Omar multiple times to give me a call over 8 months. Now, the company did contact me after my review and show me a screen shot of a quote that was generated on September 8th (a few days after the owner told me he'd get me some quotes) but I was never sent the quote. In early October Omar called me and I told him he missed out on the insulation job because I had it done during the month I waited to hear back from him (after already waiting 7 months) he immediately said "let me call the owner and call you back". He never called, so a couple weeks later I text him saying he owed me a phone call. He set up a time to call me at 9:30 am. I received a call around 3pm... still, no quote, all he said was that if we moved forward with a claim, there would be no money left after they paid adjuster etc etc etc.. keep in mind, they knew I had an ACV policy and that my deductible was 1% yet they still pushed me to pursue a claim with my insurance even though I contacted them for FASCIA AND SOFFIT repair. They just wanted a roof job. As soon as he told me it wasn't worth it, I told him how frustrated I was with their communication and he agreed and still never offered a quote for ANY work. I reached out to the team on thumbtack after the lied in their response to my review and we went back and forth, they finally told me the owner would call me the next day at 2:30 pm. They "put me in his calendar"... DUN DUN DUN, guess what, no phone call. When I actually talked with the owner and Omar, they were nice to talk to, but their communication is not built for good business. Strung me along for 8 months with not even a quote to show for it. Oh, and they lied about sending my shingles in to NTS. Oh man. Hate to do this but this was an 8 month ordeal with nothing to show for it. Short story- communication is absolutely horrendous. I had to follow up so many times to get any info. And nothing was ever completed. Long story: contacted about getting fascia fixed. They wanted to do roof inspection. So we did, they said we had file to claim with insurance for damage. So we did. Couple months went by and called insurance because claim was closed, they said they never heard back from the roofing company. Called roofing co, they said they were waiting for shingle samples they sent off to come back whether they were discontinued or not, and that we "had a good shot". Every month I reached out for an update cause I wasn't getting one. Finally after about 5 months, they told me they just found out that my shingle samples were never sent out and were still sitting in the office... they offered a $2,000 credit towards work once they started on the roof. More months went by, no update. Asked for update from owner, he called me and said appraiser said it wasn't worth a claim... after they had me file a claim... said we needed to wait for a significant event... but my deductibles changed so they said they would ask appraiser if we could try it now anyways... I asked him to quote me for a roof replacement without insurance payout and for a quote for insulation.. this was the beginning of September... a month later still nothing, contacted them again... got a phone call, they had a quote for roof with insulation, told them I already did insulation cause it's been over a month.. he said let me call you back.. didn't hear back... finally heard back today and all I was told was a claim wasn't worth it even if it went through. No quote no nothing. Nice people to talk to, won't pay them for work.
