The cafe itself is nice, the snacks and merch they sell are very reasonably priced and it's just a cool idea and chill environment. MY good friend adopted 2 cats from here. It was a total hassle, horrible communication. And when we went to visit them before the adoption we were accosted by children at some sort of birthday party. The cats were STRESSED. WE WERE STRESSED. They scheduled our meeting with a birthday party for some young kids who were just flicking cat toys in our face and all the cats faces and running around so we couldn't interact like we would have hoped too. When we went to pick the boys up finally( 2 brothers who we were told wereNOT bonded but absolutely were.. thank goodness we took both)(..There was some sort of 'date' event going on and I had people swarming me constantly while I was trying to connect and CATCH the kitties we were taking home. It was a disaster. The price to adopt both was a Little outrageous as well considering you could tell they were fighting for food.... I appreciate what this woman is doing and please please adopt and don't shop, but be ready to spend some money and be frustrated trying to adopt.... Or even get a coffee from this cat 'CAFE'

Like I said, I was here to do some work and studying, by 7:45 when I ordered my cocktail, the spot was close to 90% full. Seems like a fun and hype spots.. I would like to come back for the games. Spoke to another young lady Tamara with a question about the drink another table had an Calvin made sure my water stayed full. Great team!

Snakes & Lattes is a fun spot in downtown Tempe to grab food, drinks, and hang out with friends…read moreover board games. The space is huge with plenty of tables, booths, and bar seating, plus they have a dog-friendly patio, although it didn't seem to be open during our visit. One thing to note is that ordering is done entirely through QR code, so interaction with staff is pretty minimal. Service was still smooth, but it definitely has more of a self-service feel. Their board game collection is massive and there's a $6 per person fee if you want to play. We ended up skipping the games this time and just came for food and drinks. Food-wise, everything was solid. I had the Spellbinder Hazy IPA along with the patty melt and sweet potato fries (a $3 upcharge). The patty melt was excellent and easily the highlight of my meal. The fries were decent, though I wish they had been a little crispier. My wife had the 12 West Super Beaker Tropical IPA and the carnitas bowl. We also shared the fried pickle chips. Parking can be a bit of a hassle since all the nearby downtown Tempe garages are paid parking, but there are at least several options within walking distance. There's even a small paid lot right behind the restaurant. Overall, a really cool concept with good food, drinks, and an impressive game selection.

You're going to find this an odd review but if you Order on Uber Eats you can order Wings and Fries…read moreand other Wing type stuff. They go by The King of Wings. They have some really big and meaty wings. On the app they have a couple buy one get one free deals. The one I got was 10 bone in wings with fries and a drink for $20. But at BOGO that's 20 wings for $20 bucks. The fries oddly looked good but didn't taste all that great. But dipped in the blue cheese dressing helped. Like I said, the wings were meaty and tasted pretty good. They have several sauces but instead of putting it in a bowl and covering the wings they just kinda pour some sauce over the wings. So you have to work at getting enough sauce on the wings. The one guy working that night was doing a lot of app orders but he had my food ready exactly when the app said it would be ready. He mostly only spoke Spanish but he knew enough English to get everything out OK. This is not a place you want to hang out and eat because they only have a few tables and chairs. The churros and crepes looked pretty good but kinda expensive for that kind of fare. If you're nearby and have the half off deal it's not too bad but full price not so much. There is a taco place next door that looked like it was worth a visit. They had a trompo of Al pastor spinning around.

I stood at the front for about 5 minutes before being acknowledged, and when I was, I was just told to "sit anywhere." After sitting down, I wasn't given menus and ended up having to go get them myself. Another 5 minutes passed before a server came over. When I asked about the specials that were advertised online, I was initially told there were no specials at all. Then she said, "oh, like happy hour?" which just felt dismissive and rude. We came specifically because of the Taco Tuesday and happy hour deals listed online (which even showed a date of April 7), but none of that was honored, she said that those specials were for the RODEO only. By the time my husband and daughter arrived, we realized there weren't even tacos included on the happy hour menu, which made the whole experience feel even more misleading. Between the lack of organization, slow service, and not honoring clearly advertised specials, the experience just didn't match expectations. It's frustrating to choose a place based on what's promoted and then have a completely different experience when you arrive.

Located in a strip mall, the space has a cozy, eclectic feel with a darker interior and a variety of seating options ranging from traditional tables to upholstered chairs, couches, and wooden booths. Steve's Espresso is often described as a longtime neighborhood coffeehouse with a comfortable, lounge-like atmosphere, which definitely came through during my visit. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and overall I had a good experience. I ordered a cold brew, which was well made but leaned more full-bodied and strong than smooth and mellow, which is generally my preference. I was also surprised that there weren't any cold foam options available, as that feels like an easy addition that could expand the menu. One thing worth noting is that it got pretty noisy around 9 a.m. The space has a lot of hard surfaces, and some sound-absorbing artwork or acoustic panels could go a long way toward improving the atmosphere during busy periods. Overall, a solid local coffee shop with plenty of comfortable seating and friendly service. While it didn't quite wow me, I'd happily stop by again and try some of their other offerings.
