The woman who owns this place does not know how to communicate. It's also not a cafe... it's just a room full of underfed cats advertising 'events'. MY good friend adopted 2 cats from here. It was a total hassle, horrible communication. And when we went to visit them before the adoption we were accosted by children at some sort of birthday party. The cats were STRESSED. WE WERE STRESSED. They scheduled our meeting with a birthday party for some young kids who were just flicking cat toys in our face and all the cats faces and running around so we couldn't interact like we would have hoped too. When we went to pick the boys up finally( 2 brothers who we were told wereNOT bonded but absolutely were.. thank goodness we took both)(..There was some sort of 'date' event going on and I had people swarming me constantly while I was trying to connect and CATCH the kitties we were taking home. It was a disaster. The price to adopt both was a Little outrageous as well considering you could tell they were fighting for food.... I appreciate what this woman is doing and please please adopt and don't shop, but be ready to spend some money and be frustrated trying to adopt.... My son loves cats. I decided to take him to a cat cafe for his birthday. I did my reservations online which was very easy. When we arrived we were greeted at the door and given a few rules. I had read a previous review about the bad odor and was a little worried. There is a slight order when you first walk in, but it's not unbearable. There are different areas for the cats. There were cats sleeping, other cats walking around, a few that let us pet them. My son enjoyed his time. If you're a cat lover you should visit this cat cafe. read more

I needed a "feline fix " and I had a great time on my first visit, so much so I am volunteering with Saving One Life, who cares for the cats living at the cafe. The cafe itself is nice, the snacks and merch they sell are very reasonably priced and it's just a cool idea and chill environment. I will definitely support the cafe as a business by visiting along side signing up to volunteer to do chores that tend to be done to care for the cats. read more

Support this great kitty adoption center. I was disappointed that it was not like a Japanese Kitty Cafe. However, it is all about the kitties here. Sit at a table or on the floor. Wait for kitties to come to you. They have toys for you to play with them. You have to sign a waiver. Kitties do what kitties do! I've visited both this Cat Café and the one in Phoenix, and I honestly prefer this location. The cats here seem much more playful, and there are more cats to pet and potentially adopt. I also really appreciate that they have a separate section for leukemia cats -- I think that's very thoughtful and kind. Unfortunately, I didn't buy any coffee or snacks during my visit, but the experience of simply petting and playing with the cats was beautiful. I especially enjoyed the sectioned-off kittens, who were way more playful. Overall, I would definitely come back again. Two thumbs up. read more

My boys know me so well! For Mother's Day, they brought me to Kitty Pause Kitty Cafe, and I was in HEAVEN!!!!! It just so happens to be right around the corner from my old house in Chandler, so it was extremely easy to find. This establishment is very clean, and the kitties are very well loved. The owner takes great care of every cat, and she knows their personalities inside and out. You can tell that she has a true love of felines, and that makes her a friend in my book. Although not many cats were on a reachable level, I sincerely every second visiting with my new furry friends. My boys were patient and just enjoyed my pure joy. They are both kitty lovers too, but I am the fanatic! lol I have already told all my cat friends about this place, so hopefully that will bring in even more business. Visiting from out of town and noticed the sign driving by. I am so glad we went in!!! The staff was super friendly. It's obvious they care a lot for these cats and know them all individually. The inside was clean. There were many places for humans to sit and cats to play and nest. I didn't get the cafe vibe as much- you hear cafe and think espresso machine and baked goods. But they did have water bottles, coffee and small packaged snacks for sale. Patrons seemed to be there just for the cats- not for the work space like a cafe. While it's difficult to poorly rate a non-profit, the experience here was somewhat disappointing. I booked an open session online with my granddaughter as she is a huge cat lover, thinking it would be a fun hour to spend together. I chose the option to pay the $30 amount in person since I was using cash. When we arrived at our scheduled time, the man suggested we start with half an hour and could up it to an hour at that time. The fee was still $30! We counted 6 cats, although he kept insisting there were 12, and they really did not interact at all. He actually made us leave exactly 30 minutes after we arrived. I'm not opposed to supporting charities, but this one felt a bit like a bait-and-switch scheme. Please call to clarify the situation before you show up! read more

I was so pleased to visit Kitty Pause Kitty Cafe! What a delight to see all the cats comfortable and well cared for in this lovely environment. The hostess was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The variety of cats was interesting. HOw wonderful that they are allowed to be themselves in such a large area with many different things to climb, hang out or even hide. Also they can choose from many different types of toys. Some cats playing together, entertaining themselves, napping or simply observing folks coming to see them. Some cats rushed up to welcome us when we arrived and some waited and walked over later. They even have healthy treats one can purchase in small capsules and give to the cats. Great place! You do need to ask for the coffee & tea but it's cheap & made to your specs. We got to come at feeding time. It was super fun watching all the kitties go crazy prior to receiving their own personal wet treat in a fancy dish. Two kitties were too shy to come down from their ledges so an employee went to great lengths to climb up & present them with their treats. There is also a separate room for kitties that have FeLV. The virus does not survive long on any surface to include hands, so don't forget to play with them if you have time. You just need to wash your hands. And it's not transmissible to other species or to felines who are immunized. Overall, highly recommend this place, either for a cool laid back break from your day or to adopt a furry friend. read more

They have a variety of prepackaged goodies for the humans, treats and toys for the cats, and the most important thing- adoptable cats!
