The saddle reads clearly. The body has grace. The shading supports the form instead of swallowing it. * The tattoo you got was packed much darker and flatter. The bridge was already reading as a black bar. The strings were already too heavy and somewhat clunky. The pickguard was already visually dominant. The lower body already had that blunt, flattened feel that later sent you to "So it goes." * Even fresh, the negative-space pin detail was tiny and under pressure. So the fact that it disappeared under healing skin is not surprising. It was never given enough breathing room." Heaven was nice enough until I complained about the work. Then she became childish and defensive. But, you will note that she never posted this piece on her instagram. I don't blame her, it's terrible. I am going to need to have serious repair at great expense. I'd stay away.

Communication was spectacular every step of the way - I shared an overview of what I was looking for through those first texts which paved the way for a terrific consultation where Jesse took the time to go over everything, let me know what he needed from me, and provided some great resources for picking out the right font, even providing helpful pointers for what to look for in different fonts so that it would continue to look great for years to come. On arrival day of Jesse already had a mockup ready to go and was more than accommodating with some minor changes I wanted done. I can't say the process was painless for obvious reasons but it was as smooth as one could ever hope for. The work was clean, the price was extremely fair, and I left with a piece I'm super happy with that has already received a bunch of compliments even though it's still in the healing phase. The piercer tried to remove my original jewelry without checking the gauge and mistaked my threadless stud for a screw-top. She had so much trouble removing it that she used two pliers, causing unnecessary trauma to my piercing. Then, she eyeballed the size and inserted a hoop that was clearly too small, causing my nose to bleed further. She then replaced it with a second hoop, again without confirming the proper gauge. My piercing ended up bleeding throughout the entire night. Because the piercer seemed to lack experince, I sought a second opinion who confirmed the gauge was too large and the material wasn't hypoallergenic. I returned to the shop where they refused responsibility, saying they didn't need to confirm my guage because they "know their guages" and dismissed my concerns by saying "all piercers talk sh*t." They've refused to issue a refund despite the clear mishandling. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for safe or professional piercing services.

Their online booking system is great and allowed me to communicate with Nicole regarding my tattoo. When the time came to head over to the shop, I received a text with the waiver and a place to upload an image of my license. Much better than handling all that paperwork in the shop! Nicole was great and personable and made sure I was more than happy with the stencil placement prior to actually tattooing me. There were only two others in the shop so it was a rather quiet experience except for Nicole and I chatting (which I appreciated). The aftercare balm they suggest is only $5 which is a nice touch! They also give you an aftercare bag full of goodies, including a lollipop.
