Bread was soft and crispy on the outside, meat was well cooked, cheese oozed. It had a lot of flavor! And the tots were perfect. Napoleon Dynamite style. But crispier on the outside. Service was a little slow, but not as bad as other places I've been. Our server was kind and friendly and attentive with her suggestions. It wasn't overly busy. Only on a nonevent night at the Silos would I possibly go back. Ordered cheesesteak and fries at 6:00 and at 7:25 cancelled order since it was going to be another 15-20 minutes. Very disappointing since I have loved this place and recommended to a large number of people but now I doubt I will return. The guy taking the order was good and said about 30-45 minutes which is also what the online app said but two times as long and acting like no big deal was not what I would consider customer service. read more

This was a great find for us. We hiked Table Rick and on our way back to prosperity SC we stopped in for one of their Philly Cheesesteaks. It was a great sandwich and good atmosphere. Inkys was pretty busy but had a good to go order system set up. I ordered the large steak with mushroom, onions and peppers combo and it was $21 dollars! The food is average taste like a cheesesteak from anywhere else nothing great but not bad definitely not worth $21 for lunch. As for the reply to the owner that is exactly what I ordered the largest sandwich you had which was 2 parts side and water. I understand everything is going up and prices everywhere are also, you may not agree with my review but it's a fair honest review, ultimately I never said your food was bad, it just didn't have anything to make me want to come pay $21 for lunch again. Inky's has moved, Easley Eaters! Their new address is downtown Easley on 122 Folger Ave. This new location is a mix of country & modern, and has a really fun vibe. It'd be a great place for a business lunch or an evening with the family. There's comfortable inside seating or you can eat on the front porch, which is sweet! The cheesesteak is their specialty and we wanted to try the best they had, so we ordered a cheesesteak with grilled onions. I really loved the flavor of the sandwich , but we are pretty picky about our meat being lean, and so I'm giving it 4 stars. Although the steak was pretty tender, bites of it were stringy. The house chips were fabulous! This would be a great place for a special date because the atmosphere is so darn cute. And I would definitely go back and try a burger or a different meal. Went at 5:58 on a Thursday. My husband was a few Minutes behind me. Told the hostess we would be ordering some appetizers before my husband arrived. We were told we could sit at the bar, that we couldn't be seated until he arrived. My 85 year old mother was not Interested in sitting at the bar. Nor was I. Wanted a good Philly Cheesesteak while visiting my son. Was told that Inky's is where we needed to go. After searching the Easley, SC area from the Yelp direction we were going around in circles. Called and found out they had moved to the Silos. After waiting a short while we were seated in the new dining room. Our waitress was excellent! Went for the Colossal Cheesesteak with Tots as they were out of Onion Rings. Bottom line, this meal was by far well worth our minor inconveniences! But the tater tots had way to much salt on them for me but other then that everything was great loved my first experience! Sarah attended to us as we dined. She was superb. We inquired about the history of Inky's and she provided many details about the restaurant and the amazing management. The food was tasty and hot when we served. I normally drink like a camel but never had to ask for refills. Sarah was very attentive but not pesky. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were deeply engrossed in our conversations. Sarah never interrupted. She did suggest the dessert menu and we ordered to celebrate our anniversary. Inside was impressive with the decor. We will recommend to our friends as a great place to eat if traveling in the area. Keep up the good work! Parking was full but additional parking available across the street. No parking was allowed on the rear paved areas and it was clearly marked by the butts that own the surrounding businesses (their parking lots are completely empty and towing is threatened). Pretty good! Im not a cheesesteak/ heavy food/ greasy food type person. So when our group wanted to try this place, I was not expecting much and didn't have high hopes... But this place was good, and not greasy or dive-y feeling at all. It was packed inside at about 1 on a Saturday (today), but we got a booth right away that fit all 6 of us (4 adults, 2 kids). Our waitress was great- friendly, funny, patient, and gave us great service- wish I remembered her name. The inside of the place is nice- high ceilings, open and airy, clean, comfy booths, great old photos on the walls, friendly staff. The manager even came around a lot and checked in, and helped bus tables- nice guy! We started w the appetizer pretzel and beer cheese. The pretzel was huge! It's rock salt was yummy, and I don't like beer but I liked this strange cheese dip lol she said it's made in house. I ordered my own concoction: a chicken cheesesteak but added marinara- like Italian style, and it had grilled onions and peppers and provolone cheese. I added jalapeños, and lettuce, tomato. It was packed full and filling. Pretty good. I took half to go. I'll try other things next time. Other things ordered: *the patty melt on rye + jalapeños. Was pretty good but not the best we've had (I tried it.) w tots-- which were decent. *Regular cheesesteak -- said it was good! * 2 Kids cheese burger w provolone - decent but not the best we've had. Could be a little more moist. Side fries. Weren't our fav. Not hot enough and need more crisp and salt. But not bad either. We heard the artichoke dip is good so we'll try that next time, and some other things. I saw people w many options and salads- all looked good. Over all, it was good, and we'll try again. I absolutely love the new location! Lots more room and fully staffed. We went for lunch on a Friday at 11:30 am and we wanted for nothing ! I got the small Cheesesteak with both cheeses and mushrooms and tots. I asked what it meant to order it " wet" and apparently they don't drain anything and that's a no go for my stomach so I stayed with the standard. It was delicious and the tots were hot and crispy. I got my great niece a kids grilled cheese and it looked amazing! Everyone had hot delicious food without complaints and there was 5 of us . If you haven't been lately definitely go give them a try . When I visit SC I have to visit Inky's. This is my first time in their Silos location and I'm so happy that their food did not disappoint. The Philly bread was tender and it was over flowing with meat and veggies.. Anna was fantastic as a server, my tea glass was never empty, which is vital . The inside walls were scattered with black and white photos of both Philadelphia and Easley from long ago. So far, this was my favorite lunch spot for my visit home, thanks Inky's! read more

We took a trip to Philly 3 years ago and I went on a cheese steak binge trying 9 different cheese steaks in 4 days and have not been able to get the same satisfaction..... Until today!!! We drove 50 minutes on my neighbor from Jersey's recommendation that this place is legit and he was 100% right. We started with a basket of fried mushrooms which were phenomenal and finished it off with a large cheese steak wit whizz. The steak was perfectly tender and onions and peppers on point but what sets them on the next level is their bread. If you know anything about cheese steaks it is that it all starts with the bread and Inkys is second to none with the quality of the bread they bake. Highly recommend this place for the avid cheese steak lovers and will make this journey more often Even though the gas tank was crying, the good things in life come with sacrifice and Inkys is where it's at! read more

Definitely enjoy this place when we are in the Easley area. It never disappoints. The staff are super friendly and always checking on you. Drinks are never empty! The cheese-steaks here are some of the best that I have tried ( I am from PA, so I have a strong opinion). The bread is SOFT, and makes the whole sandwich just melt in your mouth. The steak is tasty and lots of yummy cheese. They give a lot of options/combinations as well. They also have the best tater tots I have had in the area. The fries are also very good.
