Stopped in today after googling restaurants, WHAT A FIND!! I got large roasted beef sub and wife got large eggplant sub, both were delicious and huge! I took half of mine home. Restaurant has no indoor seating, so we sat out under cover and enjoyed a wonderful afternoon. They are made fresh and take about 15 mins. Owner and staff were warm, friend and full to talk to. Wife said it was the best eggplant sub she ever had and she is from New York City; she ate the whole sub! What a find, we'll be back. read more

So, first, I'll start with the food itself. It's above average, overall. Not the best out there, but good. The red sauce in particular is pretty awesome. When I ate there, however, my pasta was a bit undercooked, so that offset this a tad. Now, there's the bad: the wait. When I went there, I was told food would be ready in about 30 minutes. In reality, it took about 2 hours to be ready. (Note: it doesn't take 2 hours to cook this food, but I suspect the real reason is that I was given a lower priority than their 'preferred' customers [Canton PD, who showed up after me, got their food, ate, and left all before I ever got my food].) Price is about typical, not particular great or terrible. Ambiance is...well, it's a patio diner. Make of that what you will. I might be back again in the future...after all, it's literally within bicycle distance of my house...but only if I have time to kill and something better doesn't get my attention first. read more

This is a great little shop with super friendly staff and a nice rustic outdoor seating area. We ordered the Italian sub, and wow there was a ton of meat! The value for your money is great, and I must say I'm not sure how you can stuff a sub that full and still make money based on the cost! My wife and I split the sub, and we were both quite full after we finished, so if you don't need a full 2 pound dinner, and you don't want leftovers, maybe split as well! Hahaha. My wife loved the sub, and I thought it was good but growing up in Philly, the taste was not quite what I was looking for. Their food is delicious & reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. The staff is very friendly & sensitive to your requests. I am kicking myself for taking so long to try this place. We didn't know what to really expect or the sizes so for 2 adults and 3 kids (9 -5) we got the chicken Alfredo pasta, meatball sub, chicken parm sub and steak and cheese sub. Total was $65. We called our order in and was told 45 min- this isn't fast food so I'm thankful we called it in while on the way home. These subs are absolutely massive and taste so amazing. Next time we'll get a meatball sub for the 3 boys to share and hubby's and I will share a chicken parm sub. Maybe we'll get the Alfredo again if the boys request it. When you first walk up you are warmly greeted. The owner gave us suggestions and offered us a taste of his marinara sauce. After ordering, he offered to bring the food to us in our vehicle since it was cold. The sandwich was huge! My husband could only eat half of it! I highly recommend! read more

The cook really wanted to make our sandwiches right and the desk guy was also very service oriented. Both sandwiches were huge!! We ordered the cheesesteak and Italian hoagie intending to share each. Both were on genuine hoagie buns - they said they get them from New York. The cheesesteak was good even on my very high standards being from Philly. It was a little less greasy than my favorite in Philly ( Dalesandro's) which was a positive for my wife! Meat was also a bit different but had good flavor. Marinara was really good. Hoagie was packed with all the right Italian meats. We shared a quarter of it & the rest is in the travel cooler for tomorrow. Ok first off, no one is exaggerating the size of these subs. They are huge. You can hold them like a newborn. And they're as good as they are huge. Assembled well, they hold together to the last delicious bite. Easily worth a 45 minute drive if not an hour. The sauce is amazing. my wife had angel hair spaghetti with meatballs and I had a meatball sub. The meatballs tasted like my grandmothers from Italy. The sauce was authentic Italian sauce (gravy). We got our 14th yr old chicken Alfredo and it was good, could have used a little more Alfredo so it woundn't be dry but I know my kids like it dripping wet anyway, next time we will just ask to add a little more. This is a little hidden gem tucked away in Canton, NC. Today we decided to give it a try as we had heard the food was pretty good. We ordered the Steak and Cheese Sub w/ lettuce, tomato and Mayo. I must say the food is a little more than pretty good. It's close to, if not the best Philly Steak and Cheese Sub we have ever eaten. We ordered it with peppers and onions. I'm usually not a real fan of peppers, but these peppers were delicious. The sandwich was huge and plenty enough for two people to share, unless you are really, really hungry. They gave us a couple orders of cold slaw at no extra charge. The Owner/Manager - was extremely nice and helpful. He described other dishes, and asked us to return and try other things. He seemed sincere in showing his appreciation for our business. He said if we did not love the sandwich he would gladly refund our money - no need to even consider. If you try them, I'm convinced you will love it as much as we did. He gave us a sample of the Marinara sauce. It was delicious and we can't wait to go back and try the meat ball sub with the Marinara sauce. We called in our order and called again once we arrived. Our food was promptly delivered to our car.
