I had a rough time with my car this summer. I have a Volvo 2007. I didn't know until I went on a long trip this summer in the mountains up yo QMCC a Christian Camp which would be my new job. It's sbout a five and a half drive there and a six hour drive back, that my air conditioning was about completely broken. It was a hard time getting to my new job in the mountains and luckily once I got up there I didn't have to do much driving for the summer...until I did, on days off us staff would go down into town and find fun things to do. Only problem was, we were so far out in the boonies that, it would take a hour or two yo get where we were going and then the drive back. And It was HOT! We carpooled, I was one of the drivers with my air conditioner that didn't work and needless to say, my car was the last to be picked that people wanted to ride in. About three months pass, and it's time to pack up and go home. I have to tell ya, that six hour drive alone tgis killer summer in over 90 degree weather up to 97 in a car with no air conditioning was probably one of the worst drives of my life. I've only been driving a little over a year but that's still saying something. And of course after that drive, for the very first time I had this car the Maintenance light came on. In the first week I was home I buckled sown and knew I needed to get my car Old Blue taken in to get looked at. Luckily my sister Erika had recently taken her also European made car to Inland Auto and she raved about it, gave me their information. So I called made an appointment and took my car in. After getting a statement I knew what I had to do, get some regular maintenance/ Oil changeand a new part to fix my air conditioner. Now when I drive thanks to the great guys at Inland Auto, on long rides or short I dont feel like I'm cooking in my car no matter the sweltering heat. If Your car has a problem, try not to wait as long as I did, take it to Inland Auto and they'll take care of everything. They are super nice too. UPDATE: FALSE, how to be pushy for a smog check is beyond me the gentleman mentioned was my father and said nothing to me which is kind of funny to make that up. Don't believe in being rude because kindness and being curtesous is free. To address a sitting customer when one is standing at the desk waiting is just rude, to also continue that throughout the transaction sealed the deal. I had my 1998 bmw 740 serviced for AC here. The sign outside read "$49" but of course my car was double the price. After my service was done the total was $150 for it all, explained that I had some electrical issues but that it works ok for now. I left with my AC blowing ok for the day. Next day I go to work, doesn't blow cool anymore. $150 for my AC to blow for 1 day! That's bullcrap. When I did call back to speak to the owner Mike, he didnt seem like he really wanted to help much, pretty much said "it is what it is"...and that in order for him to further "diagnose" it i would have to pay again for that service. Screw this place, screw Mike and thanks for keeping my $150 for having my AC work for 1 day! Great work indeed...Jerk! read more

I don't write many reviews but I felt compelled to today. In fairness, I have seen Mike/Inland Auto once before and had satisfactory work, however, I will never return. Before today's appt, I read his reviews on Yelp and found a steady theme of rudeness and insults, which I can confirm. Mike does not put forth an atmosphere of trust, and I will tell you that Mike will attempt to bill you for supplies and propose repairs above the actual need of your vehicle. His ego will not allow him to be questioned without feeling insulted, and becomes hostile. He will engage in insults and childish name-calling when a discussion does not go his way. Mike tries to express he has 100% positive reviews on another review website - I say no one can have 100% positive reviews - if they do, those reviews are obviously being filtered. I really wanted to use Inland Auto as we have three Toyotas and they profess to be Toyota specialists - never again will they get our business, and I cannot recommend them. read more
