    Fraudulent bill.

in early 2024 I made an appointment at Inland Eye Specialist. went thru my insurance, had my exam. went to get glasses. I found the glasses to be overpriced. I took my prescription elsewhere. early 2025 I got a text message as a reminder the day before that I had a second appointment scheduled. I texted back cancel. I never made that appointment. I got a second text the day of that appointment, that I never made the appointment. I called the office saying that I texted to cancel the day before my appointment. I Spoke to a receptionist that said that their system showed that I had made my appointment. ( I believe that this business might be making these appointments without the patients knowledge in an attempt to charge the patients insurance Illegally ). I insisted that I was not in the appointment because I was on duty at the firehouse. the receptionist said that their system was having issues, and that she would let me know. Now months later, I have been getting bills for $35.00 for a missed appointment. I have made multiple calls to the office. no supervisor is available to speak to me. And the newest excuse is that i have to write a hand-written letter to the office manager explaining what has happened. I never made this appointment, I don't think my insurance should be charged for appointments I never made or never was seen as a patient for. I believe this is a terrible business practice. Or possibly Medical Insurance Fraud. Either way I want nothing to do with INLAND EYE SPECIALIST. 22395 Hancock Ave.

My right eye right before the doctor fixed it
    Fay I.

i was on vacation when my eye felt like it was being stabbed causing pain, swelling, and extreme discomfort. i went to Urgent Care and was told it was pink eye. 3 days later, without any improvement, I desperately called around for an eye doctor that could squeeze me in immediately. Inland Eye Center adjusted their schedule and it was the BEST doctor appointment I've EVER had!! The kind doctor found a corneal tear and gave me instant relief from the pain!! Everyone at the office was kind and empathetic and even though I live in another state, I would make the time to go back to Temecula to see the same doctor!!

Dr Vance Washington, per my husband was super nice and thorough. He took his time to rule out other possibilities of infection or diseases and reviewed my husband's medical history. My husband was very pleased and impressed with this UCLA Immediate Care office. P.S. as a follow up to my husband's appointment Dr. Vance Washington emailed and asked how my husband was feeling. That is true patient care! Thank you!

Another time I had a doctor named Venus who repeatedly asked if I had guns in the home, if I was going to harm myself or others after I told her I was emotional about feeling like I was going to have a heart attack because I have a baby now and it's very important I stay alive. She responded "well do you wanna be alive?", just completely not understanding my fear or my repeated desires that I would prefer to be alive. Her parting words were to give me a hotline number if I felt I was going to harm myself even though I had made it abundantly clear that again, I wanted to live and was scared I was dying. And thirdly I had Dr. Lee who I am convinced is just a robot. He had the compassion and empathy of a toothpick and when I tried to just express a concern, he mansplained seven times in a row that because I don't have those symptoms now he wouldn't prescribe anything. No shit! No acknowledgement of understanding my feelings or medical history, just gave me robotic, repetitive responses.

UCI Medical eye institute in Irvine (love the free parking thank you!) gives a tremendously thorough exam, and Dr Garg spotted the real vision issue that Dr Sedri of Newport Beach Eye Institute completely missed. They both were provided with the exact same classic symptoms: "really blurry in the morning improves after 1 to 2 hours." UCI intake asked every detail of my health and two Doctors reviewed all my symptoms - refreshing! All the staff at UCI were so energetic and you can tell they love their jobs and their patients. So grateful God orchestrated a second opinion - I was not planning to get another opinion just happened organically from a conversation at a church dinner with my friend a retired emergency room Dr who is also getting cataract surgery. I HIGHLY recommend seeing UCI Dr Sumit "Sam" Garg. He saved me from the wrong surgery, wrong lens, and horrible. unnecessary expense. UCI is one of the few places in Orange County that is not a cataract money grab mill. If only every doctor would take such care for the well being of their patients. Also UCI is quite a bit less expensive than the 4 quotes i got from other Ophthalmologist, about 1/3rd less m, for multi focal lens or EOD lens. Turns out i am not a good candidate for multi focal due to a genetic, progressive eye disease, cornea epithelial dystrophy aka Fuch's Dystrophy. See attached photo of tge back of the cornea lining. Also my cataracts are mild to moderate, NOT one grade less the severe! Quite a different story at UCI!!! They are soooo amazing. Dr Garg of UCI took great care and time to explain his plan to improve my vision. Maybe cataract surgery down the road, and due to my condition, definitely not multi focal lens which would exacerbate its weakness of night time lights halo effect. Everyone talks up cataract surgery as it is the most common surgery performed. However, it is still surgery and the outcome affects your most precious eyesight! Go to the best. I wish all the Ophthalmologists in Orange would be as conscientious as Dr Garg ( and the other you woman Dr at UCI who also examined my eyes.) I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Best to all who are seeking better eyesight and taking the time to read reviews.

I would never recommend this place go at your own risk get other opinions. These guys took 75% of…read moremy eyesight. Only care about getting you in the surgery room so they can get the money from the insurance company. Summit guard should have his license revoked.
