When I went to the location to report the issue, the staff refused to assist and told me to contact roadside assistance, despite the fact that the problem was clearly visible. The coolant reservoir was missing its cap, and most of the coolant had leaked out, leaving it at a dangerously low level. Due to the lack of support, I was forced to purchase four gallons of coolant out of pocket. Even after doing so, the truck continued to malfunction and was not operating properly. This situation reflects a serious lack of professionalism and responsibility. Providing a vehicle in this condition, then refusing to assist when a clear mechanical failure occurs, is unacceptable. The entire experience fell far below reasonable standards of safety and service.

After My husband and I drove 30 minutes in bumper to bumper traffic , we were told that not only had there policy for renting out box trucks with powered lift gates changed 2 months ago and the box trucks were no longer available for personal use customers, only commercial customers. Very disappointing If they were more about customer service you would think they would say this unequivocally on there website in big right in your face letters, so there was no doubt that it is not possible to rent a box truck with a lift gate from them unless you have a business license . They didnt even have a truck with a ramp to offer in place of, ( which we wouldn't have accepted regardless) . Penske, it is sad that you have no regard for your customers or want to be customers. That's allright Enterprise is much more accommodating and they do offer lift-gates with the trucks they rent not just to "commercial " renters but also to " personal " renters.
