A little extra space goes a long way. Lemon Grove Cycle Supply is well stocked and well equipped. I know they have all the the tools to do the job right. I can't say that about every shop I've been to. Unlike the dealership and many independent shops, Lemon Grove Cycle Supply doesn't charge an arm and a leg because "they can"... LGCS is extremely competitive. It's only fair to make a little money on parts and consumables, but they don't go overboard. Labor charges are very reasonable as well. For the same price that the dealership wanted to charge me to replace just the rear tire, I had both tires replaced at LGCS. They were the same tires, too - Dunlop Elite 3. Best cruiser/standard tires ever, by the way. Perhaps most importantly, though, is the honesty and knowledge of my ride. I have a Sportster, and so does the owner of LGCS. In fact, we have the same model year bike. If I'm having an issue or a question needing an answer, I get a straightforward yet detailed answer right away. I appreciate going to a shop where they know my bike and don't have to look something up in a parts manual. I almost look forward to when my motorcycle needs some service, as an excuse t drop by Lemon Grove Cycle Supply and pick some brains on the best course of action.

Estimate was just the right amount and the staff was great and really know what customer service is. I got my car earlier than the estimated finish date and i was glad i went to Duggan's for the repair because they made my car look like as if the dent and deep paint-off scratches wasn't there at all. I highly recommend this place and i'm so happy with the quality of their job. By the way, i'm not sure about this but my car looked clean when i picked it up....did they washed my car too? :-) LOL

I've taken 3 of my vehicles to him over the years and received nothing but quality work, excellent communication, and amazing service every single time. In 2015 I took my black 2009 F150 to Bob for some dents in the door. This is when his shop was over in Lakeside/el cajon and he worked directly with my State Farm insurance, repaired it quickly and it looked brand new. He even fixed a few small dents in the rear fender that I didn't ask him to. More recently, last year (2025) I took my 5th wheel trailer to Bob, as the stickers on the front cap had been disintegrating and wouldn't come off, and they had ruined the paint. I asked him to remove the stickers and then repaint the front cap the original white color. His team did an excellent job, finishing the work quickly and it looked better than it did when brand new. Finally, I just recently (Jan 2026) took my 2016 F250 to Bob as I had accidentally backed into the hitch on my 5th wheel and put a dent in the tailgate. I brought it over for his team to look at, and they took the tailgate off and kept it to repair so I could keep my truck in the meantime. Within a week they had repaired it and asked me to come by so they could reinstall it and adjust everything. His team went above and beyond the already perfect repair to the metal and paint, and reassembled the handle, did some extra work to help me out with a tailgate soft close shock I had installed that had broken, and helped sort out some issues with my backup camera. In my experience working with Bob and Coachwerx for both vehicle and RV repair, as well as paying out of pocket and going through insurance, I have had nothing but great experiences and received excellent service. I would personally recommend this shop, and I'm happy to be a referral for anyone who is considering it.

The place brought back some memories during my early years living in SD, I got some of my tires…read morereplacement here, they were not top quality tires, and they worn out pretty fast, it ran by the husband and wife who acquired the shop for quite some time, my last visit wasn't pleasant either as one of my tires was punctured and they offered to patch it, it lasted me for a month then I had to go to discount tires to get a brand new one. So I should have gone straight there if I knew what would happen, then came my latest visit, I need to have the tires balanced, he said it will be $18 per tire, but then he could not get my tires out because of the wheel lock, since I already lost the lock, he could have use some tools to get it out as Discount Tire was able to do so every time they rotated my tires, the guy told me to go back to Discount and have them take those out or check the dealer to see if they could sell me a new wheel lock while ultimately I just need to get that taken out permanently, it was too much hassle, plus his store operation hours are very weird 10:30 am to 3 pm only, I can't help but not able to use his service here.

I received a terminal diagnosis from another mechanic for my 1992 Chevy stake bed truck. The other…read moremechanic diagnosed the problem to be the carburetor throttle body, however the part was no longer available and the truck would run. I was about to send the truck to the scrap yard, however I thought it might be possible to rebuild the carburetor so I searched the internet and found Socal. I spoke to Shawn and he recommended that he run his own diagnostic test and I said go for it. Afterwards, he told me that everything points to the fuel pump, although the fuel pump had already been replaced by the former mechanic. Shawn said that he had run across defective fuel pumps. I took one more chance and told him to go for it. He replaced the fuel pump and I finally had a good running truck again. I think I like this guy and he will be seeing more of me.
