Found this shop thru a list of preferred auto body shops from my insurance and when i checked all of them here in Yelp, Duggan's was the only one that's got a 5 star rating so since it's my first repair ever, i brought my car here. Estimate was just the right amount and the staff was great and really know what customer service is. I got my car earlier than the estimated finish date and i was glad i went to Duggan's for the repair because they made my car look like as if the dent and deep paint-off scratches wasn't there at all. I highly recommend this place and i'm so happy with the quality of their job. By the way, i'm not sure about this but my car looked clean when i picked it up....did they washed my car too? :-) LOL read more

Got the SeaHog back from Duggan's Collision. Jay (Curtis-owner's son in law)has had her for a couple of weeks getting her polished, cleaned, waxed and detailed. He even repainted the outboard lower end. Boat has mostly sat since I bought her new. Planning my retirement options for this summer. The boat looks almost brand new. If you have Allstate Insurance Duggan's will not work with you. This place was recommended by my father. I called them and made an appointment for my vehicle. My husband took the car in to the shop and they said with Allstate they have to provide an estimate first then bring we can it to them. So I got an estimate from Allstate, called Duggen's let her know I had the estimate from Allstate and asked what are the next steps. She said please email it to them, they will take a look at it and call me back to schedule an appointment. I asked what if the work costs more than what Allstate estimated, since Allstate did an estimate based only on photos. She said not to worry they work with Allstate all the time and whatever the difference is they will notify Allstate and they are really good about paying the difference. After the call I sent the email. Needless to say days went by no phone call back. I called their office and spoke to a woman and let her know I have Allstate and I had already emailed the estimate to Duggan's and no one has called me back. She said come in anytime this week so we can take look at the car and see what needs to be done and what parts are needed then we can start the repair on December 26th. Today my husband takes the car to their shop and is told they don't want to do the repair. They don't want to deal with Allstate. UMMM REALLY, NOW YOU TELL ME THAT!? Here is the thing I don't blame them for not wanting to work with Allstate, I'm not even mad about that. Something I've learned during this debacle is Allstate's claim process is severely flawed. I'm changing insurance companies FOR SURE. However with that being said what I am frustrated and upset about is WHY NOT TELL ME AS SOON AS YOU KNEW I TOLD YOU I HAD ALLSTATE THAT YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN MY BUSINESS. WHY JERK ME AROUND!? THAT'S AN A-HOLE MOVE. This is why they get a 1 star rating, zero if I could. The other persons insurance company was VERY difficult to work with (never answered, never called back, didn't know how to answer questions etc). I received an estimate and was told it would take 4 days, so I contacted my insurance company and got the claim approved. I called Sean he told me to bring the car in on Monday. Later that week I realized that Monday was Labor day, I called to confirm the drop-off date, left a message, they never called back. I called several other times, went to voice mail, I did not leave messages, felling the one should be enough. I drove by Sunday night (it was on my way home) No signs stating they were closed Monday (Labor Day). Monday morning I rent a car and me and my boyfriend drive to Duggins, they are closed. I am livid and I admit I yelled as I was sitting in front of their closed shop in my rental car, that I have to pay for myself, when I left a message. (I also apologized for yelling in the same message). My boyfriend drops the car off on Tuesday (I was in class), Wednesday goes by, Thursday I call to get an update. I'm told my car won't be ready until next Wednesday. While my voice, I am sure, showed the consternation I was feeling, I said "You're killing me, I was told it would only take 4 days" I did not yell. The woman said she would "Check that out". Sean got on the phone and said that they had fallen behind. I reiterated that they have already cost me the rental car charge for Monday and now I'm going to have to pay for another 6 days. He said that they would cover the cost of the rental car. A couple hours later, my boyfriend called and said Duggins called him to say they don't want to work on my car. (How old are these people? It is my car, my transaction, I am the one that will be paying for it. My boyfriend is not my Daddy and I am a grown woman) They used an excuse of: I yelled at them today, so therefor they don't want to work on my car. That is a lie!!!!! (I have bronchitis. I can't yell, it turns into coughing fits) I did not yell at them today, but I did express my dissatisfaction with words. I think the real reason they do not want to work on my car is because they do not want to honor Sean's offer to pay for my rental car. That would have been almost $300.00 out of their pockets. I understand that under normal circumstances, the smart thing would have been to go somewhere else, but I already had 4 days and almost $200 invested in this. Now I get to start the process all over again (What a waste) They have Christian religious signs all over the place, but they don't have very Christian like behavior. Just picked up my daughter's car from Duggan's. Been going to Curtis and Ann's place for decades and they never disappoint. This time was a small job, and they fixed the car perfectly on time, as always. When I dropped it off, Curtis took me to the rental car location so I wouldn't have to wait for a pick-up. When I picked up the finished car, I noticed it had been detailed all over (even though he only had to fix the bumper). It had been missing a couple hubcaps for more than a year.
