I received fantastic customer service! Within the couple days it took to receive my order, all my questions/ concerns were resolved. Very fast shipping. Could not be happier with my experience. These skates feel awesome. Very cozy and snug around the feet. Can't wait to break them in. USD Sway 60 XXI (sz. 8-9)

I'm making this review for a pair of skates I got a year ago. I wish I could tell you how the skates are but I've never gotten to use them. When I received them the first thing I did was try to install smaller wheels to rocker the skates. My right skate had a wheel that was way to tight on it, so much so the screw stripped trying to undo it. I own motorcycles and work on cars so a stripped screw is not a big deal, but this one was way worse. It was so bad I contacted customer support, but they blew me off. I was told I worked on the skate and they wouldn't help at all. They had me thinking it was my fault, but I took that skate in today and it was ruined from factory. The bold had to be drilled and practically melted off the frame. Now it's out and the frame is ruined, but now I know it wasn't my fault. When you purchase skates it's expected you can change the frame and the wheels, but from purchase I would have never been able to remove that bolt. Tldr: Skates are possibly defective and customer service will blame you and do nothing. Don't spend your money here, you won't receive any help if you need it. Attached is the skate that had to be drilled because of defective screw.

There isn't much selection at the sporting good stores in my area when it comes to inline skates so I decided to try ordering from Inline Warehouse. I decided I wanted to get the K2 Trio 100 and they had the cheapest price I could find online. In addition to that, I was able to add a skate bag to my order for only $7. Shipping was super fast. Customer service was great too.. I never saw the shipping notification email because it was in my so folder, but I got a quick response from support when I inquired about my order using the live chat feature on the website. Very happy with my new skates.

I drove from San Francisco just to get my skates here. No other shop I've found has the range of sizes and options as Derby Warehouse. The staff was super knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating. Their online inventory is super accurate. Even though their usual derby plate mounting person was out of office they were able to mount a plate I brought to the boot I bought in less than the time it took me to get gas and a coffee for only $30. I've ordered online multiple times and it's always super fast, free overnight shipping (GSO). I love how reliable these guys are. It's the amazon of specialty sports equipment.

They have a great selection for kids skates.

A few years back I decided to try inline skating with my kid friends. It looked like a fun new challenge. The Inline Warehouse in SLO is the place to go. The staff has always been helpful and friendly, with all my questions. The showroom is small, but it has what you are looking for. It is always very neat and clean. They have an iPad to show you all the items they have, that they are not able to display. I liked that. I had just bought and replaced new wheel for my skates and they helped me put the new ones on. The place is to go for inline skates is the Inline Warehouse.

Atom wheels I got from them are so awesome. Speed bunny coming thru! :)

Sent me the wrong product and because of their ridiculous return policy, they won't issue a refund.

A High Five to Big 5! Thanks for being there [which kind of reminds of the movie..."Being There",…read morewhich is quite funny & is even pertinent to today's goof-balls]! Congrats also to me, since I have had my shots [not Rabies] & so far remained semi-sane, but now am a proud owner of a SUMO-C-19 Ultra Jumbo Belly [TM:)]. If you too have managed to also sprout a SUMO-C-19 Ultra Jumbo or even just a slightly smaller Regular Jumbo Belly, then get here STAT! Big 5 has Belly Busting prices [with the multitude of email alerts] and some equipment & supplies to make either a dent in your waistline [not in your wallet] or at least impress your diabolical iwatch, which is always spying on my Coach-Potato ways. My demonic iWatch conspires with my dastardly iPhone to constantly defame me/you on my/your slothful ways. Mark my words, it even tracked your slothfulness for the whole duration of the pandemic. You get NO CREDITS for even living thru this nightmare, nor saving you & others from disease, nor death. It is ruthlessly judgmental & belongs in North Korea & not here. I am almost sure Kim Jung iLL had some hand in hacking these devices to demoralize patriotic people like me. The big Kim J. iLL or KiLL for short is really suspect. So yes, in part, my [K]i[LL]-devices made me come here...especially the pulse & EKG readings [I will not even acknowledge the horrid Cardio goals which I rarely meet...EEK!]. Once you somehow convince yourself that there are more things in life beyond eating Cheese Puffs & staring in horror at the idiot box waiting for any given Apocalypse scenario, you start to contemplate even walking up hills & mountains.... for FREE EVEN! Idiotic, I know! I do not think the lord would have let us invent flat smooth sidewalks, if he/she/other still wanted us to crawl ape-like up barren slopes...all the while being exposed to various Grey Wolf/Wolves [only one they say..but it takes only one rabid one to do you in...it's GPS tells us that it crossed the 101, but not where it is...ha...so useful!], rabid mountain lions, rabid bears, rabid Coyotes, & worst of all rapid rabid Rabbits! EEK! Anyway, since it I have to weight the relative dangers of rabid humans vs. rabid wildlife, I figure I will go with the dangers of wildlife anyway....but almost always bring one or two sticks with me... just in case a rabid mountain biker gets too hungry. The good humans at Big 5, DO NOT JUDGE YOU & are quite polite...at least to Geezers like me [THANKS!]. Not like my darned PCP, who is not even happy with the lowest Cholesterol reading in all my life! Anyway, after tormenting myself with almost weekly death defying walks or hikes for around two months, I decided to start upgrading my stuff. Some quite needed, like a trade in for my worn New Balance 99X "Made in the USA" fine {slippery on slopes} running sneakers to a generic made in Vietnam synthetic one with HUGE GRIPPY KNOBS on the bottom. If you have a SUMO-C-19 Ultra Jumbo Belly you definitely need HUGE GRIPPY KNOBS on either your bottom or on your soles, not souls. While you are busy gawking at the all the Gizmos on sale, at this almost lone relic of Brick & Mortar Pre-history, you may find other stuff you may not need. Since you are a guilt ridden rabid iWatch tormented confused ovoid human, you may even buy a Hydration Backpack. Even if you happen to be overtaken & overrun by blind arthritic decrepit rabid Rabbits, at least they can have a drink to go with one's bloated obese spherical shape. Why for Fauci's-sake would I pay $50 for a plastic Pickleball Racquet? Likely because I happen to see some other stir crazy young non-decrepit humans play this lame sport on the city's Tennis Courts....and since I am now a decrepit old Geezer, I thought...why not own yet another Sport Object that I may never use? At the very least, the lot of nice UA 77% Cotton socks that I grabbed here on a good sale can be also be used on the coach & are hardware compatible with Cheese Doodles. Cheese Doodles & Big 5 Socks do not judge one and best of all they do not begin with an i..... Thanks Big 5... [I have been please with Big 5's in Pismo/SLO, but will check out the other Coastal 3 for things that are out of stock]! Now where oh.... where is my Thorazine...and what is that foam coming out of my mouth? For fun, here is the incremental order of my ascent into "Hiking Delirium": 1-Use worn running sneakers on hike= slip & slide but mask stays on. 2-Use unused Costco hiking sticks stuck in car trunk for years. 3-Contact Running WH on line in SLO to send prof. hiking sneakers via UPS...not fitted. 4-Hike, slide more, get hot & thirsty, pass out, & EMTs called. 5-Return Running WH sneakers to them since they do not fit & reorder & repeat twice...still do not fit! 6-After 3+ visits to various Big 5's, get much of what I need for less $$$! 7-Still forget essential stuff in car, like H2O. i-Dummy!

I am on crutches, and i went in to Big 5 to look for a new swimsuit. I asked the woman at the…read morecounter if she knew anything about the suit sizes. She came over, took the suit that i had adn was looking at (there were several identical suits on the wall where i was, but she chose to take the one i had in my hands). I took another suit and continued trying to parse out the sizes). She never did bring any new info; i had to just try them on, which is why i went in, so that was okay, but no, not helpful. I guess i was thinking that -working there- she might know. Or have a size chart to guide me. She was going to Google it, but i know how to Google, too - how is that 'help'? She got quite bristly, and i finally said 'maybe i'm just b!tchy today to try and break the icy interaction, and i tried to avoid her - she brought no help and it felt like she -what?- didn't think i could read because i was on crutches?? idk, but it struck me as not only unhelpful, but a condescending to just take things from me that i was looking over myself. The selection was great, and i found a suit that fit. I also picked up fins to play with at the pool, as they were sturdy and just the right size while being reasonably priced. I almost didn't; i'm retired and don't need to hurry. I almost left a few times interacting with her. The dressing room had marvelous handrails in handy places. Everything was clean. I went to another floor representative to ask about the fins, as the woman i was talking to didn't seem familiar at all with sports equipment. She may have been new, but in that case, maybe her owning that learning curve might ease interactions. But there was no owning any of her pushy 'help', to which she was bringing no knowledge or inside information, nor did she ask anyone else if they knew more about suit sizing. I hope she gets more conscientious of her walk-in customers; brick and mortar stores need good help, not just place holders.

It was pretty early on a Sunday and at the time they were one of the few shops that were open. I began talking to the employee and lo and behold the employee was the owner. I mentioned to her that since I was a kid my family would make annual trips to Pismo and we always came into her shop because it was "cool" and wasn't like anything we had in the Valley. This tradition has been going on for 39 years now. I mentioned to her that since having my own son (9y/o) he loves to go in and check out the merch. He had been looking for a Joe Montana jersey and during this particular visit and the one prior, the store was out of stock. The owner was nice enough to ask for my phone number and said when they got a new shipment she would let me know. Well, she held true to her word and contacted me about a week ago. We conversed via text and I asked for shipping details, price, etc and she was gracious enough to ship me the jersey and it arrived within a couple of days. The point of this post is that The Sports Forum is unlike any other sports memorabilia store you'll fined in or out of the area. The fact that the owner went out of her way to contact me and take the time to ship me the jersey speaks volumes of her and her business. I'd shop here or contact the Forum before going to a large chain store (i.e. LIDS) for their uniqueness, hospitality and prices. Thank you again and we hope to pop in soon!
