Had a wonderful stay here. I believe the hotel has been remodeled relatively recently, and I personally like the bright colors and geometric designs. Our room was spotless--I believe cleanliness is the most important aspect of a hotel room, and there was nothing yucky at all to be found. We were even in a pet room with our dog--they provided a basket for our dog with bowl, towel, sheet, milk bones, and poop bags. Our room was a corner one, so we got an extra window, which was nice. I also liked that there was an additional sink outside the bathroom. I always appreciate having a fridge and microwave as well. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly, there are warm cookies in the lobby around 4. Breakfast is pretty standard--they have the waffle makers, which is my favorite part of hotel breakfast buffets--they have both plain and a maple cinnamon batter, which I haven't seen before, but it's tasty. They have syrup, no whipped cream or fruit toppings. They also have biscuits and gravy, which I did not try, but that is the extent of the hot items. There are hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal. Pastries looked kind of dry. The fresh fruit looked like it had been sitting around for a while. They had a lot of salsa and guacamole, I'm not sure what those were supposed to be used for! Location is good--it's a couple blocks from the ocean and downtown, both very easy to walk to. It was nice and quiet. read more

Check in day workers were on drugs, the manager is Friends with their staff so of course there's nothing they can do . Our upper neighbors were horrible jumping and running at 1 o'clock in the morning and you get no response from the front desk, that looks/feels suspicious the fetynal fold is real and they aren't mething around about it. Location is good rooms are fine if you're just sleeping in it. The "manager" claims that she is the GM, and has a close relationship with the drugged out employee. We were given 10% discount, these people couldn't finish checking us in, or a sentence or thought. Really felt like we were right back in downtown Tacoma. read more

We decided to take a family trip on a whim and found this jewel online. We weren't sure what we were going to get so we braced ourselves. Many times we have booked places on the Oregon Coast and were shocked in a bad way. This was not one of those times. When we arrived we were greeted with friendly faces. The room we got was spacious and comfortable. It was clean and fit our needs. The shower was a bit small but the water pressure was good. The games and movies were a big plus for our family. We had a nice relaxing game night. We also walked to the beach to watch the sunset and had dinner at Pig N Pancake. Everything was walkable. I stayed at this place during a recent event at the convention center. I choose it because of its proximity to the event and availability. What I found upon entering my room was surprising. I dropped my bags and did my walk-through to see if it was up to my standards. I can't help it, but I'm picky about places I stay. I want to be able to relax at the end of the day. I went into the restroom to check things out and to my complete surprise, there was poop on the toilet seat. Gross!!! I looked around a little more and found hair in the tub and on the bottom of the toilet. I contacted the front desk to have issue taken care. After about 15 minutes I gave up on somebody coming to the room and ended up using the makeup remover wipes to clean it off. Needless to say, I limited my activities in there. I slept with my clothes on and was concerned about removing socks and walking on the filthy carpet. For price I paid for the room, I would have expected much better. I'll sleep in my vehicle next time if the Inn at Seaside is my only option. Bring sanitation wipes if you do decide to go. read more

Our room was very clean as was the hotel in general. All the staff we encountered were super friendly. Location is central to the beach, convention center and the downtown/promenade area but is not ocean front. Bed was comfortable and room size was pretty large relative to other hotels I've stayed in. Compared to other nearby hotels' pricing, this was a steal. We found it to be pretty quiet. Bathroom is super small and it would be nice to have a hook on the back of the door. Outlets are practically non-existent so it made it a challenge to charge devices. The alarm clock/charging station did not accomodate my flash charger. Did not eat breakfast but it looked like standard variety like waffles, cereal, etc. Overall, would stay again. read more

Fantastic getaway weekend with my husband was spent here! From the moment you walk into the lobby we felt comfortable and relaxed. The check in process was seamless and before we headed into the elevator we stopped in the lobby for a cup of hot coffee, which is available 24/7. In the afternoon there are complimentary fresh baked cookies too! Our room was spacious, clean, came with a coffee bar and refrigerator. There is a Safeway close to the hotel so you can stop in for a few snacks and drinks to have in your room like we did! The housekeeping staff is friendly and asked us how everything was going and if we needed anything to let them know. Awesome! The weather was absolutely gorgeous so we walked to the beach and visited the shops downtown, every day of our stay. We look forward to coming back to Seaside again soon. read more

Staff are friendly, check-in easy. Fresh cookies at 4pm until gone. ( there wasn't a lot of guest staying for the teens got more later in the evening) room was clean besides the jets in the bath tub ( so we didn't take any hot baths and ready. They have dvds, games and puzzles for guest to use. They have bikes also guest can use. The pool is small but the teens still had a nice time. There is not hot tub so that was disappointing. The breakfast was your basic Continental breakfast small and large waffles, hard boil eggs, hot coco, coffee and juice. Bread and bagels and one flavor of mini muffins, cream cheese, yogurt and string cheese. There's biscuits also but they are hard and there was gravy. We didn't try it. Also cold cereal. If there was no other hotels we would stay here again but because there's not hot tub and there wasn't warm bacon or scrambled eggs it wouldn't be our first choice. read more

This place is alright for price and location. We stayed in the large double queen suite. Seems like the kind of room you would get if you were hosting a reception . Could have been a little cleaner though. We found confetti, pine cones and the head boards on the beds had a lot of questionable finger print markings. I'm not a big investor of places that advertise free breakfast, however, be prepared for minimal selections and kinda gross low grade juice offerings. I would stay here again cause they allow cats and our kitty likes to travel with us. read more

Carmen at the front desk was so helpful and a really nice individual. The room set up for 3 adults and 2 teenagers was unbelievable! Having a separate room for the Girl Scout leaders and an attached room for the girls was incredible. There was a sink in the bathroom and another sink just outside of the bathroom, made for 5 girls getting ready so easy. The breakfast was a good set up. Love it here, it's our go to spot for mini vacations. Super clean and cute. My thoughts on their opportunities are the doors aren't very sound proof so we heard many of the other guests coming and going throughout the night, till midnight so I had a hard time sleeping. Also we were told that checkout was at 2pm at the counter and then was hassled by the housekeeping around 11:30 til noon about checking out. It's like ok we heard you the first time. read more

This review is in regards to customer service- and the reason it is 4 stars is for how incredible Amie is!!! If it wasn't for her it would be 1!!! She is compassionate, empathetic, accommodating, and willing to do what it takes to make your stay memorable!!! We arrived right after there was more state shut downs which created closure of the pools and no room servicing for multiple night stays. The person that checked us in did not tell us any of that. Staying in the 2 room suite, we expected our room to be serviced during our day excursion to Cannon Beach. When we came back and the garbage wasn't taken out, no fresh towels, beds unmade- we were quite frustrated. Amie was so calm and understanding with our frustration and explained how the state mandates limited their ability to clean. She was as accommodating as she could be for us in helping with fresh towels, garbage bags, etc. The hotel itself is at a great location. There was a strong odor in the room- we did not know it was a pet friendly room. We purchased a candle and opened the windows to help with that. The room is a bit smaller that we expected it to be- but amie did make our experience worth while. read more

The rooms were pretty small and the beds were not comfy at all. Also smelled really strong of animals and wasn't very clean out side (over flowing trash cans and litter). We were on a girls trip and they had specific instructions for pool use (call the desk, then a 30 min limite). We called and got the last 30 min slot before the pool closed then we were interrupted 3 times for time checks. Then she turned the lights off at 9:45am. We had some friends come with us back to our room after dinner, as we came in the front desk woman informed us that it is a breach of the agreement to allow non-registered guests to use amenities. Overall the rudeness of the woman paired with the mediocrity of the hotel led to a not so great stay. Would not recommend and would definitely not return. read more

Filthy awful little place. I understand they are a pet friendly hotel but that doesn't mean that you will step on pee or poop every time you go around the corner . I have stayed in other pet friendly hotels and I also know that by law any hotel has to accept service animals, but by far this was the most filthy place. From the parking lot, the receptionist appearance, the swimming pool with dead plants( I mean really?? If you can't take care of it,just take it off, or it's a way to say"no one here cares") also the elevator,hallways...the list goes on an on. This property has not a single Pure room( not pet friendly), even if the receptionist tells you that they do. Really save your money. There are much better places to stay. Cutest hotel in seaside! Modern yet cozy and inviting. Check-in was a breeze and they take dogs! Spacious layout with amazing full kitchenette with dish washer and hooded stove top. My puppy loved it here and with the bay view windows, we were all people watching the canal from our bed, while sipping on coffee. Breakfast provided and rental bikes are complimentary! What more could we ask for while enjoying seaside for the weekend! They really think of everything here. Super clean rooms, great clean smell and good circulation as far as air quality in the rooms, and super friendly staff. We will be coming back! read more

We love going here! We've been here twice. Reserved a king size room. My son and husband loved it.. the room was clean. Bed sheets are cleaned. Our expectations were met! The staff are all friendly and accommodating! They have a laundry area, that time i needed to wash my son's clothes i have no laundry detergent, the receptionist gave me for free (i have no coins that time).. breakfast spread was lovely! At night, my son was hungry, we went down to the dinning room they have a well stocked of yogurt; fruits (bananas -not over ripe, oranges); fresh ice water and coffee... with regards to our room it has coffee brewers and pods, tv reception was great, wifi connections are strong! They have a swimming pool that's cleaned; the following day i saw that they're cleaning it! read more

For the amount we paid here compared to our other hotels during our road trip, this was by far the best one, and easily gets a 5 star status from me. I don't ask for a lot with hotels since I don't do much besides sleep in the rooms, but I stayed up a few extra hours to experience the room a little longer. Upon entering the room, what impressed me the most I would say was the restroom. That was unique all in itself. For the bathroom door, it was a sliding door as opposed to a traditional hinged door. Instead of giving us the traditional small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, and the bar of soap, they had dispensers for all those things, which I personally love since it cuts down on the use of plastic bottles. We got s king size bed and the Ned was extremely comfortable and the set up for the tv and all the furniture was really nice. Checking in was a fast, easy process. The front desk clerks were so kind and stuck up a small conversation with us. One thing that stood out the most about this inn was that they had a library of movies to watch and check out if we wished to view any of them, and the best part is that it's free! All you have to do is return it in the morning or whenever you finish watching. That's quite hospitable if you ask me! The breakfast I would say is middle tier. They had a toaster to heat up their bread options and they had some cereal, yogurt, fruit, boiled eggs, juice, and coffee. It sucks they didn't have hot food like eggs and such, but it's better than what we had at most of our other stays. I definitely would love to come back here if I came back to Seaside. I recommend this place, especially if you are on a budget. read more

I think overall the hotel was nice. Everything seemed to be updated, staff was nice, and they had adequate accommodations for covid 19. Unfortunately, I found hard yellow crusty sections (we all know what this is) all over the towel I was using when I hopped out of the shower. Found this place while driving north. Got the last room and was amazed! The fire pit outside the front entrance was the first clue this wasn't your normal sleepy roadside motel. Pretty wide variety for the free breakfast. Room was quiet with a sizable free DVD library. We borrowed "Goonies" since it was filmed near here. Free coupons for $2 off feeding the seals at the aquarium just a short walk away. Super nice and knowledgeable check-in staff. Watched them deal with a difficult guest with ease and warmth. Both went away happy. Didn't try the pool but it looked good. Our room had a jacuzzi tub! Pet friendly, too. Updated lobby is nice. Plus everything is walkable from here: great central location! Clean, quiet, and nicely decorated lobby and our room too. Definitely reserve here without reading another review :) read more

The first and most important thing I have to say about this hotel is the staff were all exceptional! At check-in they were prepared for our arrival and the process took less than 5 minutes. Every interaction I had with the staff was the best! I rented 4 rooms and every room was top notch. Clean and stylish. The family enjoyed every minute of our mini vacation at Seaside. I highly recommend this place for those who have pets. It made all the difference in the world to be able to bring our furry loved ones too. The Inn is only 3 blocks from the beach too which was great for an evening fire pit with the family. We will definitely be coming back. read more

After a booking nightmare at a nearby hotel, the staff at the Inn at Seaside (especially Lorelei) rose to the opportunity to help us with excellent customer service, an exceptional attitude, and level of quality support that would rival any hotel. Then, the quality, cleanliness, and layout of the rooms and amenities were outstanding. The decor is very similar to a modern, urban style hotel with subtle touches that make the atmosphere very comfortable. The updated interior was a surprising contrast to the traditional exterior. We booked a two bedroom suite for our family. We were pleasantly surprised! We liked that it was on the 1st floor, easy access for little kids and Grandma. The decorations in the lobby and rooms were a clean modern feel, or was not rundown at all. Seemed like it was renovated or updated! The morning staff at the grab n go was so sweet and accommodating. Wish the pool reservations were at least an hour increments instead of 1/2 hour. It was walking distance to and from the Main Street and beach. We loved our stay! Stayed here for 3 nights and we loved it. Contrary to the angry post below( there must be more to it) we never once saw pee or poo anywhere and actually only realized it was a dog friendly hotel 2 days in when there was a small dog at breakfast. No pet smell in the hotel or rooms. Front desk staff polite, friendly and helpful and there was always free cookies, salt water taffy, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fruit available. Free breakfast was small - the only protein was hard boiled eggs. But there was toast, yogurt etc ant and fresh waffles, There are bicycles to borrow for free and the staff tries to accommodate anything you ask. The hotel was once a sort of motel with inside and outside rooms but has been renovated. Bright colours and modern furniture and decor add a funky quirk that makes this place adorable. The pool was small, more of a warm splash pool but enough to amuse those under 10. In the room there is ac, windows that actually open, super clean and comfy beds and delicious Portland roasted in room coffee( hint make one and take it downstairs for breakfast). There is also a mini fridge and microwave We only booked this a few days before arrival in high season and were very pleased wth our stay. The location is also great for walking everywhere. This was our first time to Seaside. We stayed in the 2 bedroom and it was perfect for our family. The staff here are so helpful and kind. We loved the pool and the firepit for s'mores. With Covid things are a little different but I definitely felt they went above and beyond in ensuring our safety and making our trip as normal as possible. The breakfast is served in to go bags, there is no room service, pool is open in 30 min increments for families. The location is perfect! So close to everything. I found this fun little hotel while searching on Kayak, and it had the cheapest rates of any hotel between Newport and Astoria. I fell in love with the bright, pop art theme of the decor. Everything was clean, but the room needed to be aired out. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom is ridiculously small but the room is large. The continental breakfast was just the very basics of cold breakfast, with a toaster and a waffle maker. Try the cinnamon toast, it was great! We spoke with 3 or 4 members of staff and they were all courteous, helpful, and informative. We really enjoyed our stay! read more

I don't often write reviews for hotels but I have to say I'm so impressed with the customer service at the hotel and my overall experience. First, I forgot my iPad and they called right away when they found it to let me know. Which never happens when I forget things. It was an easy process to get it back and when it arrived they had packaged it as fragile and put bags of Salt water taffy inside. That had to be the most thoughtful thing a hotel could do for a guest even after they checked out. The experience was also great, the kids loved the pool, we loved the continental free breakfast. So we stopped here after our stay in Rock Away Beach, Oregon. Wow 105.00 A night with an awesome Ocean view plus full Kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Here your over priced and no amenities. No lounge, no restaurant No real view. 1 sad chair for 211.00 A night. You don't have near enough parking for the amount of Rooms you offer. You can tell improvements have been made here with "new" paint and "updated" furniture, however, it doesn't cover or hide the lack of cleanliness and attention to detail. Upon walking into the room it was hard to ignore the spotty/stained carpets and the dirty faucet handles. After getting settled we noticed a window wouldn't close after being opened and the window screens popped off easily. Yes this location is close to the beach, but this beach is not even a destination worth visiting. This hotel was almost not worth the stay even though we had paid on Expedia before arriving. It mentions several amenities and shows a promising few photos on the website, but as soon as you arrive you can tell it wasn't even worth a good deal. read more
