We found the place to be pretty much perfect for our needs. A comfortable place to sleep. Close to the boardwalk. Friendly and helpful staff. This might be one of the easier 5 star reviews I ever give. They don't come often and especially not for a hotel least of which happens to be on the Oregon Coast. Nothing against hotels on the coast what they lack in accommodations they more than make up for in location. Let me first start by saying do not have reluctance based off of some of these negative reviews. I find myself to be incredibly picky and tend to keep standards relatively high for hotels as I don't like wasting money at a place I am only staying couple of nights and never go there for the hotel but instead of the destination that the hotel happens to share an address with. The rooms are decently remodeled. Yes it could use a second or third set of eyes on the one we stayed in. The bathroom door was missing the striking plate which made the door not shut as tightly as it could. The switching were upside down from 99 percent of American homes. Up being off instead of up being on. (I did say I was picky). Staying on the topic of bathroom the toilets were fine, the water pressure was great when I used it and the hotel provides on the wall soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. A nice touch that will save you in case you forgot to pack your toiletries. The rest of the room is fine. The beds are average with no real complaint. I tend do enjoy a firmer mattress which these are not but they are not a soft pillow either. The sheets and bedding were clean as was the rest of the room upon entry. Behind furniture was even clean (yes I looked) The view is nothing to write home about as you look onto the Seaside Convention Center and parking for the nearby restaurants and shops. The room is also well equipped with more than enough plug ins by the bed and the desk. Both USB and standard outlets are on top of both surfaces. The TV was fine but its not smart which is a let down. They do offer a DVD player ours was rather temperamental not wanting to turn on or eject movies from time to time. Speaking of which they have a decent library of take as you please movies which my son enjoyed thoroughly. The A/C was nice when needed, although it was only in the upper 60's all week which is the norm for Seaside. The fridge, microwave and Keurig also worked as you would expect. P.S. The fridge does have a freezer pocket. Its not going to freeze anything but keep it really cold so don't bring home a pint and expect it to last too long. The last thing to say about the room which is really the only negative part about the room itself is that the Wi-Fi was non-existent for me. I understand that they have an access point in the room which is great. Its even a decent one(Cisco) and not some cheap-ish consumer level version. Upon opening up my laptop to use the Wi-Fi I was allowed to log in and then immediately lost connection. After looking for the AP which was right above the microwave (ceiling) I noticed that is was constantly rebooting and never able to make a connection to the network. I did call the front desk who apologized but only offered to have maintenance look at it at a later date (when I wouldn't be here). This was somewhat disappointing as internet access would be ideal since I still needed to work during my stay. The only option was for me to venture into the lobby to use the internet in that area. By the way more than acceptable speed in that area. As far as the rest of the grounds. The dog area is adequate but I feel bad for guests along the first floor on the west side as that area sits right outside their windows. Additionally the pool is very small but clean. And don't expect the whirlpool/spa as it looks to be forever gone :( This was a letdown for my wife. The breakfast wont really pertain to anyone after this morning as they will stop serving the to-go boxes and move to a serve yourself but return to your room breakfast soon enough. I will say the breakfast's were fine. They have quiet a few options of boxes to grab from cereals to sausage sandwiches, juices, milks, and coffee and tea(make it yourself). Moving onto the staff both cleaning and front desk. They were both great. Cleaning staff were only seen once in the morning but they were very nice and took care of our messy room which I know is expected but nice to see as they didn't miss a spot. The front desk staff was great every day morning or night. They were helpful with information and even had some batteries for my sons little RC car he wanted to play with. Also we came as it was a birthday weekend and my wife called ahead the day of to let them know and we walked into a room with some balloons, salt water taffy and ribbon decorating the bed. Very nice tough and just great to see them be so accommodating. We will becoming back to this location again which might be the first time we have ever said that about a place in Seaside. read more

The property is in a great location. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants and the beach. Had a king size bed which was ok. Arrived early in the morning and asked about possibly getting a room. Was informed check in was at 4 pm. The two female clerks were very unfriendly and barely made eye contact. I guess they were annoyed I had asked them a question. I asked if I could leave my number and they could call me when a room was ready. Dhe took my number and said she would call me. Needless to say, they never called and when I returned at 2, they gave me a room key. I didn't bother asking them why they didn't call me. Front desk customer service was poor. I know - when you book a getaway to Seaside, you probably want an oceanfront room, right? And you'll probably skip right over the Inn at Seaside, because it's not on the water. Well, consider this awesome gem for your next vacation and you won't be sorry! It was a huge birthday extravaganza with our crazy group of friends, so we booked one of their two bedroom suites to fit us all. The Birthday Boy and his wife stay here on the regular (10+ stays so far) and promised that we'd love it. I was initially disappointed that we came to Seaside and weren't staying on the ocean, but changed my mind really quick. They have rooms to accommodate large and small groups, including the 2 bedroom suite we had - a queen bed in each room, and another queen out in the main room (that's right - 3 queen beds total), plus a couch and comfy chairs! The living room could have easily fit an air mattress if our group had expanded. Each bedroom had an HDTV and DVD player (along with the TV in the living room). The bathroom was a bit small, but you don't go on vacation to hang out in the bathroom. They offer fresh cookies on check in, and have little bags of taffy on the nightstands of the rooms. The beds and pillows were cozy, and it was just a block behind Broadway, where all the touristy action is. Very quick walk to the water. We got hung up while we were out to breakfast on the morning we were supposed to check out, but made a quick call to the hotel, they were really understanding and gave us a later check out. Great service. This is the only hotel our friends stay at when they come to Seaside, and I think we've joined that club too. Plus, you skip the high price tag of the oceanfront room, so you can spend more out while you're out playing in Seaside! read more

Bed bugs. We are all bitten up when we woke up... On first look there Nothing 'wrong' with this little hotel, but nothing special either. It is about like any other mid range hotel... The bathrooms are teeny. Like, it's difficult to close the door and still use the toilet teeny... They have complimentary taffy which is nice and a selection of dvds in the lobby you can take back to your room to watch. The front desk was appropriate however it was clear she didn't like or enjoy her job or this city with all the tourists. The morning breakfast is bread products and juice or coffee, nothing spectacular..... but, it is a block away from down town and two blocks from the beach. So, it's good for what it is. This was my favorite hotel of all time. My car had to go into the shop, so I called and rescheduled my reservation. The night of, someone named Linda left me a voicemail sweetly saying the restaurant I had a credit for was going to close in a couple of hours, and she didn't want me to miss out; she hoped I was alright and that I'd show up soon. It was so sweet. I called her and said my reschedule must have been lost, so she rescheduled me and sent me a confirmation immediately. So sweet. We show up the next weekend and were greeted like we were long lost friends, the same as the few other parties I saw wander in. They have cookies up front for guests, movie rentals, newspapers and the best customer service ever- Exactly what one guest said, who happened to walk in to get the very last available room. My welcome package had wine (Good wine) chocolates, taffy and roses. I couldn't believe how comfy the bed was, or how soft the sheets and blankets were. Also, there were a TON of pillows. Most hotels skimp, this one was so nice, especially for the decent price point. They have specials all the time too. We did go off season, but we were the only ones in the pool, and it's nice to not have to awkwardly walk through the lobby after having a couple drinks with dinner. Separate entrances and a few different stair cases or elevator are nice. The movie selection was pretty vast, it was fairly quiet other than the kids who were in town for a conference, but you can't control kids. The continental breakfast was huge- muffins, bagels, waffles, hard boiled eggs, peanut butter, toast, fruit, cereal and tasty coffee and juice. More than most continental breakfasts give out. We booked a last minute stay at the Inn at Seaside. Do know from the start this is not a waterfront property and our experience was only for one night. At check in we were able to check in 2 hours early and we were greeted by 3 very friendly staff members. The bonus amenities that added charm to this cute inn included warm cookies served at 4 (we missed this opportunity), fresh popcorn served between 6 and 8 pm, a large selection of free DVDs for in room viewing and a small bag of taffy with a welcome note from our room attendant. The staff was pleasant and agreeable to our two requests: (1) a "crib" for our toddler and (2) late check out in case our little man needed to take a late morning nap before we packed up for the day. Note: the "crib" is a pack n play which is what I brought as a back up in case our request was not fulfilled. However if I did not come prepared with the mattress insert our son would have had to sleep on the original thinly padded particle board that comes with the pack in play. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable and the sheets/blankets were soft. Our little suite was exactly what we (thought we) needed to attempt to get some extra sleep with our little guy going to bed at 7:30/8:00 (we'll leave the irony of what actually took place despite our best efforts for another forum). The bedroom, living area/kitchen and bathroom were all clean and appropriately stocked. The room was particularly warm/humid despite efforts to use the AC/fan unit in the bedroom and was relatively useless when we had to shut the door during our son's bedtime/nap (there was no unit in the living room). The noise was well contained from the bedroom when the door was shut however from the living area the noise was more noticeable at varying hours of the night/morning. This was experienced first hand as my husband and I had to retire our futile efforts to sleep on the hide-a-bed (see failure of best laid plans to pre-empt one toddler's tendency to want to play at ALL hours on vacation vs being the good sleeper that he usually is). Ear plugs were required for me to even fall asleep at 1:45 am in the morning but that is not because the noise was outside of the normal hotel "goings on"--I'm just attuned to ALL noises when I'm over tired. Breakfast was functional providing plenty of toaster bread type options including bagels and eggo-type waffles as well as muffins, hard boiled eggs and apples/bananas. Do not come expecting Holiday Inn or Best Western continental breakfast. We missed out on the pool due to scheduling issues and our little guys early bedtime/late morning nap. The pool is open 10 am to 10 pm. It would have been nice to have an opening time of 9 am or earlier allowing us crazy one night visit early to bed and early to rise families to take better advantage of the pool. Now that I have written a novel and potentially provided more information than necessary. I will summate by stating: overall we had a pleasant and functional stay. We will most likely give Inn at Seaside another try in the future. read more

Got a great deal through groupon, and took a last minute trip to seaside with our dog. Hotel was very accommodating for us and our large dog. Even had a "pet package" in the room with dog biscuits, water bowl, and poop bags. Made us feel very welcome with our dog. Hotel was clean, and very close to beach and broadway. This Inn was really nice. The service was spectacular. The room was clean, the walls seemed to be a bit thin, we could hear a lot of things going on, and mostly from our downstairs neighbors. The breakfast was ok, it's a good light breakfast, you can toast the bread, waffles, or bagels, but that was about it for warm items, so if you're looking for something cooked or filling, plan on eating out. I was surprised that there was no hot tub, as there is not a lot to do at this hotel, a hot tub would have been nice. They did have a pool, but it was a small pool. I felt like they made a big deal over chocolate chip cookies upon arrival, and they were small, and nothing to rave about, so I don't understand why it's a "perk" on their site. They had free movies, and popcorn, and that was a good perk. There were candies left in the room, and that was fun, and nice. Checkout was super fast. I can't wait to take my kids to Seaside, and I would bring them to stay here. read more

At first glance, I would have put this hotel at 4 stars. The bed was comfortable, the staff seemed friendly enough, the house keepers had even left a welcoming note in the room along with some taffy. I could have even over looked the skimpy breakfast. But in the middle of the night, we had a major safety concern. We were woken by a loud knocking at the door and someone running. At first we thought it was just some kids playing a prank because we could also here some kids giggling and some commotion outside. So we were just going to go back to sleep. After a few minutes, I thought I could hear some kind of alarm. My husband couldn't hear it at all but got up to get dressed and look outside anyway. He saw some people in the parking lot but it wasn't clear what was going on. Then one of the hotel people came back around and told us we needed to evacuate the room because the fire alarm was going off. Once we got out to the parking lot, we found many of the other guests had thought the same as us; that it was just kids knocking on the doors and didn't know the alarm was going off. While we were standing in the parking lot, the employee was still running around knocking on doors even well after the fire truck had arrived. My problem with this whole situation is that it shouldn't have been this hard to figure out we needed to evacuate the room. We should have been woken up by the alarm. They do not have an adequate system for notifying guests of an emergency situation so I would not recommend anyone staying here for their safety. read more

They charge $25 dollars PER DOG. That's means if you have 2 chihuahuas, you are paying $50. When asked about the pet fee, they say it's because they need to pay for the deep cleaning after each pet. So you're telling me they do a double deep cleaning for two pets, triple deep cleaning for three, and so on... Point of note: The floors are laminated, no carpets, no chance the room is going to be damaged by a dog having an accident... This is basically gouging in the name of being a "pet-friendly" establishment. But they give you milk bone dog treats and a towel as compensation for the exorbitant fee. Don't fall for it. Stay somewhere else, where they don't take advantage of the situation. Plenty of other options that don't basically charge you double for your tiny pet. read more

i am very impressed with the service and accommodations. Especially when we travel with a large breed dog, it can be very difficult to find a place that allows us to bring our 4th family member. We were immediately greeted by a warm and pet loving staff that also have dogs of their own. The price is very reasonable and much lower than most other hotels and it is located right within walking distance of everything. Very convenient location across the street from the convention center. The pool is on the smaller size but they keep it heated warmer than most. We have been very impressed overall and we will not be looking to stay anywhere but here on our vacations to Seaside. read more

Staying in Seaside? Don't look at any other spots - just book a room at the Inn at Seaside. My husband and I have stayed here twice and came back because of the very reasonable pricing and great service we experienced on our first visit. We were greeted by Tami at checkin, who is endlessly enthusiastic, and got free popcorn and taffy right off the bat. There was a small bag of taffy in our room to greet us with a handwritten note by the cleaning staff. While we were out the next day, they brought us a brand new bag of taffy! Amenities are great considering the fact that you're not paying to stay at a high end spot. Pool is open 10-10, continental breakfast, 600 movies to check out at the front desk you can watch in your room, and the location is super convenient. A massive quantity of pillows greeted us, and the shower is good. Checkout wasn't until NOON! It's two blocks from the beach (which I think is probably the only thing I *wish* could be different) and easy parking. We will continue to stay at this spot on our next visit(s) since we've enjoyed the service and the value of the inn. read more

You can tell they're remodeling or tried to. Bed was nice. Besides that not much. Tv had a crack in it. Bathroom was super out dated. Fan light combo switch was annoying cause the fan is loud. Toilet made a loud flush noise randomly. Super irritating at night. Shower head was nice pressure and height yet not wide. Had to turn sideways to fit in and I'm not a large set person. Had a soap, conditioner, body soap machine. Disgusting considering kids or someone could pee in it. Cleaning between our two nights consisted of just making the bed and new towels. Oh and to top it off my girlfriend went to use the blanket in the closet which was covered in sand. So first night was spent in sandy sheets. Breakfast was not that great. I had a good stay at the Inn at Seaside. Things started off well during check in with Linda who was so awesome. She was super friendly and really welcomed us to the hotel. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I loved all the extra touches the hotel had to offer. Chocolate chip cookies upon check in, freshly popped popcorn in the evening, lots of DVDs to borrow if you feel up for a movie, and a note in your room from housekeeping with a bag of taffy. You definitely feel at home here. Breakfast was adequate. Don't expect fancy eggs and bacon. It's very much a continental breakfast of breads, muffins and bagels. There are some hard boiled eggs as well. It's a bit of a pity especially considering the price you pay. Yes, it's not waterfront, but the water and the promenade are so close - a 5 minute walk and you can be in the ocean. Everything was okay, but it wasn't anything spectacular. read more

Great value, Good location. My gf and I spent 2 nights here while we spent our vacation in Seaside and Newport Oregon. Upon arriving, we were greeted and checked in by two super friendly ladies within the office. Our rooms were clean and nice. Our bed: COMFY and HUGE! The sheets weren't scratchy (super soft) and I didn't have to even use the blanket/pillow combo I brought from home! The place is conveniently located walking distance from the beach and all the tourist trap places. (far enough so you don't have to hear the Seaside Candy Man "theme song" blaring out onto the street) Great continental breakfast. My girlfriend and I saved money since we weren't eating out for breakfast. The noise level is fine, but unfortunately, my gf and I arrived on the night of graduation at the convention center right across the street. They offer wifi, but the connection isn't quite reliable. We bought the Groupon for The Inn at Seaside along with $25 at the Twisted Fish, free Seaside Aquarium passes, and $10 at Funland. The staff was super friendly when booking our room, I called before buying the Groupon to make sure there was availability after having issues with other Groupon's, and Linda took the time to find multiple dates for me to verify on my calendar. We greatly enjoyed our stay, although our room was right above the pool, so it was a bit loud in the evening. There is a tremendous collection of movies, which was great since we needed to stay in the room in the evening while our baby slept. The kitchenette in the room was well-equipped, we didn't use it on this trip, but I would say there is just about every utensil or tool you would need. Breakfast was fine, I wouldn't say it was deluxe, the usual toast, Eggo-type waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and hard-boiled eggs. It worked for us though. I would definitely stay here again, it was a nice price, friendly staff, and close to the beach and town. We walked everywhere from our hotel and had a very nice stay. read more

Second stay at Inn At Seaside. Last year with my wife and kids, this year with my wife and kids and in-laws. We picked up a suite with two bedrooms, 3 queen sized beds, AND a pullout bed in the couch. They have a continental breakfast, which is a necessity for my wife. Good spread for the breakfast, but the eating area is small and does not accomedate the amount of guests coming in. The nights are quiet. The location is close to the action and the beach in Seaside, but sadly not close enough for an ocean view. It's not fancy, it's not nasty. It's right in the middle. Good for families looking to save a few bucks, but still have a nice vacation pit-stop with a warm indoor pool and a good selection of movies to watch at night. Hotel not as pictured. My review would be a one or lower if it weren't for the friendly staff at my check in. Also, it appeared the few common areas of the hotel were fun and well thought out. I stepped into my room (a non- smoking and non pet room) and the stench immediately hit me in the face. Next I noticed the stained carpet. I walked in further and noticed various substances smeared on the headboard. I already paid for the room. But I immediately got on my phone and started looking for another place to stay. I did not find one (it was a packed weekend) before remembering about the cancellation policy and knowing I wouldn't be refunded. The sheets looked clean, so I sat on the bed. I didn't dare sit on the chair. I could hear a small dog barking from several doors down and continued to do so as I came and went. I decided to be gone from the room as much as I could even though I planned to have a quiet, stress free stay. I first opened the window for fresh air before heading out. When I got back, I lit a candle which eventually helped a little with the smell. I wore socks and sandals while in the room because of the questionable floor. The shower walls looked like they were sprayed but not wiped. The towels were rough and scratchy. The neighbors got home (there was a door which could be opened to connect the two rooms) and I proceeded to hear the young children play, run, cry, and their parents yelling at them until 11:30pm. Meanwhile, the toilet ran almost constantly. There seems quite a disconnect of some reviews. Maybe it just depends what type of room you stay in. The Inn at Seaside offers basic motel accommodations at a reasonable, but not inexpensive price. It is average quality overall. The Inn is right across the street from the convention center, two blocks or so from the beachfront and boardwalk. Rooms are about standard for an older property that has been well kept up, which is the case with the Inn. Service is reasonably good. There are no amenities. There is little to like or dislike about this property. It is a fine, but basic motel. read more

I booked a room here last minute on a Friday afternoon for a quick getaway with my wife. The staff at this hotel are exceptional in terms of being very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and roomy, but dated. The place has been maintained well, but the beds are soft and the linens are econo-grade. The shower was excellent, and the room had a decent little kitchenette, with a basic supply of plates, pots and silverware. The Inn is on the river, and across the street from the convention center. It is a short walk to Broadway and the beachfront and promenade...perhaps three blocks or so. It is easy to find and there seems to be ample parking. There are no views per se from any of the rooms...you will either see the street or the little river next door. There was a small indoor swimming pool and no hot tub. Not a very inviting pool area for adults on a getaway -- so small that a few families with children will dominate the place. The patio does not offer any appreciable sitting/lounging area. There was a complimentary breakfast that is barebones style like you would expect at any economy motel. The coffee was weak and we just skipped it and went to the Fireside Grill for an excellent breakfast (within walking distance). For a $115 room in off season, I would say it offers an okay (three star) overall value, but probably not a positive enough experience to compel us to come back. I was surprised that this place has an average four-star rating on Yelp after staying there. But it seems to be working for the owners. Sat night was completely booked on a rainy weekend. read more

No warning that the ENTIRE hotel was under construction on their website or verbally over the phone when I called. A few days before arrival we got an email stating that the pool was closed as it was being remodeled but nothing stating that the entire hotel was under remodel. When we arrived the outside of the hotel made us want to call around and search for another room. My husband checked us in while I called around unfortunately there were no other openings in town. When we made it to our room it had been freshly painted and remodeled so it wasn't so bad we thought. When you sit down on the bed the headboard bangs against the wall & continues to do so with the slightest movement. We ended up shoving pillows behind the top of the headboard to get some peace. The next morning when we woke up to take a shower there was zero hot water in the entire hotel. No real apology was given and no offer for discounted rates.... The continental breakfast ended up being just apples, bananas, toast, and cold cereal. I don't know about you, but I definitely would not call that a hotel breakfast. We wanted to rent a surrey and on the recommendation of the staff, walked 6 blocks to rent one -- the same company had a location about a block away. The continental breakfast was paltry, and very busy -- on our first day we couldn't find a table. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights for our 7th anniversary. We were thoroughly pleased with our stay. We were greeted by Tami, who was super friendly and made us feel welcome. They have fresh chocolate chip cookies at 4 o'clock every day and popcorn every night at 8. They have a collection of 600+ movies that you can borrow while staying there. Our room was really clean and had a kitchenette stocked with dishes and pots and pans for those who want to save some money on food while in town. Our king-sized bed was super comfy! We had a lovely view of the river. As it is right across the street from the convention center it can get a bit noisy but it died down around 10 and my boyfriend and I are night owls. We didn't get a chance to check out the pool while we were there. If we ever find ourselves back in Seaside we will definitely stay here again. read more

$244 for one night. Pool is a murky water giant hot tub. Since the room is next to the pool room it has a chlorine odor to it. The room was grimy and the water coming out of the shower was brown - I am not kidding. Looks like this was the former managers apartment (room 122) that maybe they rent out when there is a convention and they are sold out. In any case I will not be staying here again. read more

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the hospitality was definitely lacking but all in all, the room was great and we had a fantastic trip. The front desk person just was not the most hospitable. To start, we were asked 3 times if we had a pet which we replied all times, no. Then we go into room 101 and it was just an ok room. Ground floor, view was mostly of ppl walking by and no carpet. Immediately I thought, it's off season, they don't seem busy, let me ask if we can move up one floor. I went and asked and she accommodated the request. That's about as hospitable as she got. This was all while asking me if I had "taken" anything out of the room and let me know that 101 is a "pet" room. Well gee thanks for listening the 3 times you asked if we brought a pet lol Then I go get my wife to let her know we can change rooms and she says to my wife "you didn't take anything out of there did you?" I'm sorry but her word choice was just rude. We were in there for 5 seconds, thank you tho. No we didn't take anything. In the end, wasn't even told to have a good day or come back and stay again. The just renovated the room so everything was really clean and nicely decorated. We booked the 3 bedroom suites and it was really spacious for 6 of us! The tv doesn't work yet since they have some problems with the cable network! The only thing that we don't like was the bathroom situation. The bathroom was pretty small and it was inconvenient for all of us to wait for our turn! The front desk cannot be reached after midnight as well so it felt like you were on your own if you came late. read more

Very clean. The staff is friendly. I always say you pay for what you get. I would definitely stay here again. We stayed at a lot of inns and motels on our trip and compared to all of those this one felt like a 5 star resort. It's about 2 blocks from the beach. Our kids brought their scooters and we had a great walk with the kids to the beach each day. The pool is very small. But my kids had it to themselves every night. read more

I came to Seaside for a weekend convention and picked Inn at Seaside, largely because it is across the street from the convention center. I came away very satisfied with my choice. The price was middle-of-the-road when compared with the others in the vicinity. The room was average in size and accommodation, roughly equivalent to Hampton Inn, and included a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and free DVDs for your entertainment. Half of the rooms have outside entry, so if you don't want to walk to your room in the Winter wind and rain, ask for a room on the East side. Breakfast was ample hotel fare - toast, packaged bagels and muffins, hard-boiled eggs, toaster waffles, et al. The fresh-baked cookies most afternoons after 4PM are a nice touch. The staff and service were excellent, and I loved the desks and chairs in lieu of a check-in counter. I will be back. read more

Very happy for the price. Nice new carpet and most of the room looked brand new. Blue ray player let's you put in your Netflix pass code. Nice soft beds. Super clean. We stay in Seaside around 6 times a year so we know most of the bigger Hotels. Only downside is a small swimming pool. read more

I have stayed at multiple hotels over the year while visiting Seaaide and this Hotel is by far the best one. From the fire pit on the front porch to the complimentary bike rentals, to the fee dvd's, to the comfortable and inviting rooms including a Bluetooh Speaker to use everything was a pleasure. The pool even has some fun toys for kids to play with. This is probably going to be the only hotel I will stay at when in Seaside. I can not wait to go back. read more

PLEASE BE AWARE!I CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT AS SOON AS YOU GIVE THEM YOUR CARD TO PUT ON HOLD UPON CHECKIN! I go to Seaside every Presidents day weekend with my family. This year we decided to stay @ Inn at Seaside what a mistake. We have stayed the last previous years @ the Worldmark, River inn suites & Riverside Suites & are way much nicer & cleaner hotels. Worth spending a bit more. When I checked in I gave my debit card to put on hold which is usual at every hotel, We checkin in on February 14 & Checked out on the 15th, As soon as I got home i checked my account & was charged $82.84. I thought maybe it was just a hold on my card, I gave it 3 days & checked my account & saw the charge had posted. I immediately called the hotel & a very rude receptionist called CANDACE answered. I asked her why i was being charged $82.84 & she told me that I had gone on there website & booked another stay from Feb 15-16. I told her it was impossible I had never gone on there website to book, I had booked the previous stay on expedia & I checked out on the 15th & on my way home. After arguing with her she finally deiced to pull up the contract & what a surprise it was never signed. Because i never stayed on that day. She they said Oh i will just credit your account & it would take up to 7 business days. I asked for her to email me the contract of the stay. I gave it 8 days till i finally called & still my account had not been credited. CANDACE answered & told me it could take up to 10 days & to contact SHERRY which is the manager. So i gave it a couple more days & no credit on my account. So when i called back a couple days later CANDACE answered again & said we already credited your account. U had a cc# number on file under the name Norma Smith. & your card ends with 1926, I told her I did not know who that was & my credit card does not end with those 4 number. She then told me that i would need to talk to this SHERRY which she is never there & told me she wouldn't be available till SUNDAY which it was only TUESDAY. I then was trying to explain to here that u guys credited the wrong person but CANDACE was so rude that she did not card. I wanted to get it resolved with the hotel first before i called my bank & told them I did not authorize that charge. So anybody staying PLEASE be aware of the credit card u put on file & check your bank account. Pros- Hotel rooms are big Free Taffy in room Cons- Rooms smell old & humid, & pet hairs all around the room Showers had human hair all over They promote fresh baked cookies in early evening, only do one batch & would not make any more Pool is real small, to many people at one time read more
