I can't recommend Heidi Fennel, DC enough. Genuine, caring, skilled, honest, and worth your time. (I drive over 20 miles to see her- she is that good!) I have been seeing Dr. Heidi for over 5 years. (I have been going to chiropractors on both coasts for decades, some who tried to rope me into crazy plans or who made me worse. None have had her level of skill.) I wish I had known about her sooner. I know I am in good hands with Dr. Heidi and she actually cares about my well being. She doesn't adjust randomly (crack you everywhere and hope you feel better) like some chiropractors, but actually identifies the issues and the source of any referred pain. I've learned a lot from her and she has my trust. It is like having a health partner that doesn't judge you. Her demeanor is so gentle, compassionate, and knowledgable. Even my very skeptical husband was impressed when she helped him. She is fine using a gentle touch, perfect for those afraid of chiropractic, with sensitivity, or even needing prenatal care. In fact, I would say she is a mom's #1 choice. She even helps keep my toddler feeling good. Chiropractic has helped my son when he had an inevitable whoops on a playground. I found the adjustments (which look like a massage at that age) helped him sleep better and heal faster. Also, if you are looking for someone skilled at doing NET, you found it. Her practice is holistic, but she is not pushy. She supports you getting the care at your comfort level. I am almost 7 months pregnant and was referred by a friend. I have sciatica pain, my shoulders hurt and it's getting difficult to walk. I got a massage and also chiropractor session. The massage was amazing, the best I've ever had. Lindsay was gentle enough for the baby but just tough enough for me and those spots that have been hurting. Thanks to a single treatment from Dr. Heidi, I am free from pain in my left foot for the first time in almost 18 months. The pain both preceded and remained following two surgeries on that foot, but Dr. Heidi diagnosed and treated the root causes in a manner which left me with tears of gratitude, because it ain't easy - even being a tough guy - to have one of your feet be a constant source of pain. It didn't surprise me to learn belatedly -- from two friends whose opinion matters greatly to me -- that they were her patients, as well as the patient who referred me. I see Monica for acupuncture with cupping and she is great! I have terrible neck and shoulder pain. Monica takes the time to assess my progress each time I see her. She even reviewed my MRI results and treats me accordingly. She recommends the best herbal formula to take for my condition and has even suggested a good anti inflammatory diet to help my in the healing process. The office just cancelled my appointment. I am pregnant and wanted to try their services, scheduled a visit few days ahead and planned my week accordingly. I've been told that the doctor doesn't feel well today. I work in a service industry too and totally understand that this happens. I only cancelled on my clients once in my entire life and I did it as soon as I woke up and understood that I'm sick - at 7 am. I've got a call from them at 11.30 am. The office opens at 9 am. I was already in the area by that time and would appreciate an earlier call. I am 37 weeks pregnant and each day counts for me, so I'm deeply disappointed and don't think this is professional. read more

Also doctor Heidi charged a lot. make sure to review your statement and make payment. They messed up with my appointment twice and doctor Heidi always trys to sell something after consultation. This review is specifically for the reception staff and Neha Bhatla. I arrived 13 minutes before my first scheduled appointment. It was toward the end of the day and there was what looked to be a fresh Starbucks order on the receptionist's desk, but no one to be found. I signed in and waited -- I came early because of the intake forms I was told I'd be filling out. My appointment time rolled around and there was no sign of the receptionist or doctor. I'm 33 weeks pregnant and needed to use the bathroom; no sign as to where this was located (my first time in the building) and no visible keys. I called the main number several times hoping it would be answered by someone, anyone. Voicemail. I hesitated before going behind the counter to look for a "bathroom-looking" key, which I eventually found. Came back a few minutes later, still no one there. Decided... Hey, maybe I should find a form to fill out since this was now cutting into my appointment time. Found some forms on the desk and started filling them out, annoyed. 20 minutes after my appointment time, someone briefly emerged from a treatment room; she didn't acknowledge me or say a word, just popped out then went back in. 5 minutes later, 38 MINUTES after I had arrived, she came out with the patient. No acknowledgement. I recognize that reception bears the fault up to this point - they completely abandoned ship, didn't leave a note, and left the last person in the office without coverage. But Neha Bhatla was completely unapologetic, so we'll continue. She led me into her office and quickly reviewed the forms. I indicated this was the first time I'd received chiropractic care in pregnancy and did not know what to expect. Within 3-4 minutes, she made a diagnosis of my condition and mentioned that she'd be opening me up. Oh and she mentioned repeatedly that she could not guarantee any of this would work to alleviate my pain. "You're not going to walk out of here feeling good." "It's going to take several treatments." "Even then, I can't guarantee that you'll feel better." Seriously - I had to ask whether it was even worth my time to continue. She wasn't certain. I was escorted into a massage room and told simply to remove my shoes. She returned with cream and started opening up the muscles in my groin by pressing firmly into the area, leading up to my crotch. I was laying flat on my back at 33 weeks pregnant and wearing a dress while she did this and I thought - this is wrong. If a male chiro had started doing this without giving me any indication of how they'd be touching me, I would've walked out. And I should have in this instance. She pressed into my pubic bone and had me breathe through part of the treatment. It was incredibly unnerving, especially since I'd only met her 10 minutes prior. She then led me back into the office with the special chiro table. I got a few minutes of treatment with the activator on my spine and sacrum before she had me turned over once again, on my back with my hips elevated (which every single site re: chiropractic care during pregnancy, especially in the 3rd trimester, advises against). Went at my neck for a few minutes with the activator, then assessed my hips. Then she was done. So much for the hour that we were supposed to spend together. She tried to push a pregnancy support belt on me which I repeatedly said had not worked. She did not even know how to assemble it and instead had me fumble with it for a few minutes while she stood there and watched. I was figuring out the damn directions while she looked on. She checked her phone a few times and lo and behold, she concluded her session exactly when I should have ended (had we started on time). One of the worst, most unnerving experiences with a "health care professional." She was right about not feeling great after the appointment. I felt insulted and violated. This girl had no idea what she was doing, terrible rapport building skills, and clearly new as none of the reviews make mention of her. Avoid Neha Bhatla at all costs. If it takes three weeks to see Heidi, wait the three weeks. She sounds like she's worth the wait. read more

A doula in a pregnancy group that I'm in recommended InnerMovement Wellness Center, and I'm glad she did! I'm in the third trimester and saw Dr. Forsyth to do adjustments to my back so that I'll be in top shape during labor. Dr. Forsyth was great! She took the time to learn about my history and concerns. She explained what she was doing, and the adjustments that she made to my back and neck were much needed. I'm going to continue seeing her every week until I give birth. I started going to InnerMovement a little over a month ago, mainly because I was interested in finding out just out these services would work with my PPO. I found out about the office at a Health Expo that was organized by my work. After talking with Dr. Fennell about my issues (I'll explain them later), and my desire to look for a place that offers sport massages; she said that I had to see Victoria for that. So, I decided to give it a try. I had been going to "The Joint" for a few months (monthly) before starting at InnerMovement. And had good results. However, let me give you a bit of background of my active lifestyle, just to set the picture. First off, I have been playing baseball (competitively) since the age of 8, with only a few years off. A couple of years ago I was diagnosed with a partially torn Labrum (shoulder ligament), that was caused by the wear and tear from baseball. Instead of going under the knife to repair the ligament, my sports doc and I thought it would be best to try physical therapy. Well, here I am, still playing without anymore pain, so I'd say the PT worked. However, all the PT, plus weight training, and playing, had created another problem. Towards the end of the games, my shoulder would start feeling fatigued and create discomfort when throwing the ball. And I just did not want to go through an entire season and have that problem worsen as the season progressed. Secondly, I am a professional latin dancer, since 1999. Well, recently, I got back into performing, so that meant, rehearsals, at least twice a week, which would last up to 2 hours per rehearsal. Well, needless to say, that also takes a toll on the body, since I do incorporate lifts/tricks into my routines. But, that was not the extent of it. I had begin to develop stiffness/soreness in my right hip right around the same time I starting rehearsing again, which was about a week before I went in to InnerMovement. Which, brings me to my experience. My first appointment was lengthy, as expected. I met with Dr. Neha Bhatia and discussed all of my issues. She then began to examine my flexibility and movement of joints; which was very thorough. Afterward, she gave me an adjustment, and keyed in on certain areas (hips). After the adjustment, she said the she would want to see me twice a week, since my hips were in need of such attention, as well as create a stretching regimen for me to do at home and would have it ready for my next visit (which would also include the 60 minute massage). The following visit, I saw Victoria Tifekchian for my massage. Again, we discussed problematic areas and she suggested what kind of massage would be best suited for my needs (deep tissue). She went further and explained why that would be best; given that I am so active and do use my shoulder a lot, as well as lift weights regularly, not to mention that this would be my FIRST deep tissue massage EVER, I would greatly benefit from breaking scar tissue and lactic acid! As painful as it was and still continues to be, she is very through AND sociable! We have had some great conversations and laughs, even when I'm on the verge of throwing in the towel. Afterward, I met with Dr. Neha, who not only gave me a much needed adjustment, but had the stretching regimen ready for me to do at home! So, now, on to what matter most (for me any way)! The results! I can gladly say that my shoulder fatigue is NO LONGER! For the last 3 games, I have been able to go the entire game without any discomfort! The tightness/soreness from my hips are gone! I can now dance without any pain! All of the time that I invested in Dr. Neha and Victoria has paid off! They are very good at what they do and take the time to not only get to know the problems, but YOU, as an individual! But, the professionalism does not stop there. Everyone at the office is very friendly and receptive to your needs! I definitely will be a long-time customer and promoter of this office! Trust me when I say, that I am not the type to like EVERYTHING I come across. I am very picky and hard to please when it comes to services, so when I endorse someone/something, I'd like to think that it would be considered "reliable". Started out with the very kind and good Dr. Heidi. I was finally able to get rid of my lower back problem from working an office job. She helped me tremendously,. I love all the health products that are sold for eg. the good pillows, and vitamins. After having been gone for awhile, I'm back and seeing Dr. Broosan. He also very kind and helps me alot with aches and pains which is great. I've recently taken up ballroom dancing and he helps me to relieve any stress in my back and to straighten out my body and align my feet and toes. read more

I've had upper back/neck pain problems for years, as you likely do as well if you've also been mainly a computer focused employee and have a stressful job. When I moved to LA last year I visited a chiropractor that a friend recommended but left in more pain than when I entered, didn't schedule another appointment. For the next 11 months my girlfriend listened to me complain until she couldn't take it anymore and did a yelp search and arranged my initial appointment with Dr. Heidi. I was skeptical but went anyway. And WOW am I ever in more love with my girlfriend for finding this place. I've had two adjustments and two massages and feel 100% better than I did a week ago. I'm completely sold. Dr. Heidi was spot on with all my aches, even knew that I had a much more stressful week than normal when I saw her today, psychic almost. I've signed on for two visits a week for at least the next month and don't expect to stop after that, my neck hasn't felt this good in at least five years. If you're looking for a chiropractor in the area, sign up here, you won't regret it. Not just chiropractic, it's an entire wellness center with everything else you might need on site. The massage is awesome, Victoria is a hero and does great work too. The admin staff are delightful and even photocopied a BBQ recipe for me out of one of the lobby magazines, which I'll be making this weekend. Great tea in the lobby too. Bonus - five minutes from my office and they take my insurance, after the deductible the visits cost almost nothing for both adjustment and massage. One small note that's not totally PC but I'm sure will come up for those considering this center - I'm a bigger guy and was skeptical that Dr. Heidi would be able to do anything to my back, but she's fully capable, my back and neck feel awesome. She also has a male chiropractor available if you prefer. The online reservation and appointment reminder system is also very cool. Quite simply a great find, you should visit it if you have any aches or pains. read more

I finished treatment for my accident and it is very bitter sweet. I am glad that I have 'graduated' and basically recovered, but I am so sad that I wont get to work with all of the great people at Inner Movement any longer. I would usually see Dr. Heidi, who is amazing, but every now and then I would see Dr. Broosan who is also amazing. Their techniques are slightly different but they are both really great. After every adjustment I was relieved of so much pain. Just by feeling my back they could usually tell where the source of the pain was and fix it. They gave me tips and advice on how to relieve a lot of my pain through some simple lifestyle changes which have also helped my recovery significantly. Christy and Victoria are both really great massage therapists. I used to go once a week for a massage and they were so good! I would feel so much better after getting a massage from either of them, it was actually incredible how much they would improve my state of being after just an hour. In addition to being great massage therapists they are both very nice and they always made me feel comfortable. The women who work in the office are very helpful and always very friendly. My schedule is weird and I had frequently had to call and cancel or change things last minute. They were always understanding and accommodating which I appreciated very much. I would (and will) recommend Inner Movement to anyone. They helped me recover from my car accident and subsequent herniated discs. I actually enjoyed going 2 times a week, even when I was driving all the way from the west side or downtown. They made it worth it! read more

I should have found Dr. Heidi years ago! I was always under the impression that chiropractors were rough, and that kept me away for years. After complaining to a friend about soreness in my shoulders, my friend recommended that I go see Dr. Heidi. At that point, I was ready to do anything. Wow, Dr. Heidi turned out to be so gentle, and so knowledgeable about the body. The massage therapists are great too, with Dr. Heidi's adjustments, and a few massages that worked out knots in my muscles, I feel like a new person. One of Dr.Heidi's specialties is working with pregnant mothers, and although I'm not pregnant, my girlfriend is, and she says the comfort that Dr.Heidi brings through her adjustments is like heaven, so tell your pregnant friends. I was happily surprised to learn that my insurance covered some of my visits, so be sure to have them check your coverage with your health plan. The on-site parking is very convenient. read more

My first therapeutic massage was amazing. I wish my insurance covered chiropractic care, but since they don't I had to pay out of pocket. The chiropractor there takes his time to find out what is going on internally and environmental factors. They had a great yelp offer that I took full advantage of. Dr. Fennell is extremely knowledgeable and has a great technique. She finds my problem areas with ease and effortlessly adjusts my misaligned spine on average twice a month. I recommend Victoria for massages as well. She is very down to earth and gives you just the right amount of pressure with her massages. They offer cupping, acupuncture, detox treatments and other lovely services. The staff starting with Alexis, in the front office, to Victoria to Dr. Fennell are great. I'm very grateful to be able to use their chiropractor services. I'm about 8 months pregnant and was having bad back and groin pains. Dr. Antonya Forsyth did an amazing job thoroughly explaining everything about my alignment, what she was adjusting and where she would be adjusting before and during the service. She constantly checked to ensure I understood what was happening, the noises I would hear and the pressure I would feel. I felt very comfortable and at ease. It was not painful and I was able to receive a massage following the service which made my whole body feel more relaxed. When I get there the chiropractor was actually good and nicce but treatment was only 25 min and they charged me 165 dollars when I later see on tHeir website advertising new patients at 99.
