Where do I start! This office is a great place to get all your treatments. I suffer from chronic pain due to spinal injury. Dr. Gregorian aka Dr. Fixer Upper, Melissa (Acupuncturist), Sara (Massage therapist) and Cynthia (receptionist) are all very welcoming and very professional. It's been a couple years since Ive been to Melineh's office. I no longer had the accepted insurance but I knew that Melineh had always healed me so I paid out of pocket. I have been suffering with bodily pain for so long as well as severe digestive issues. Before Melineh, I had tried EVERYTHING on my own. NOTHING worked. My family doctor didn't offer much help either. I felt hopeless. She took a holistic approach and got me on a gut cleanse, implemented acupuncture with Melissa and some deep tissue massage. I last reviewed start life chiropractic in 2018 and wanted to share a few updates. I have found myself back in Dr. Grigorian's office for shoulder, back, and hip pain. The office has relocated since I was last seen. It is a newly renovated space with a clean and comfortable waiting area. You never have to wait for very long, Dr. Grigorian is very prompt and takes me in right away. She is very personable and addresses my target pain spots. One thing that has helped tremendously is that they offer massage therapy in their office. So I alternate between chiro and massages every week and the pain level has dropped significantly. Elise is the massage therapist and she is very good and professional. She spends her time on the knotted muscles and opens them up. I am very grateful for Dr. Grigorians and Elsie. read more

LIFE SAVER!!!! I have nothing but great things to say about this great office, the Dr., the acupuncturist, and the staff. First and foremost, they welcome you in as you are a family member, such warmth, you feel like you've known them for years. All you have to tell Dr.Mel, is where you have discomfort. Straight-up: I have not been to a chiropractor since a horrible adjustment experience three years ago. But here's the skinny -- Dr. Melanie is legit and I ain't gonna quit her. My back was totally f'd -- Pilates hurt, hiking hurt, the pain kept me up at night. I dealt with this ish for two weeks until my Pilates instructor was like, guuurl, you need to get that fixed. And yeah, it's sounds totally bougie to say "my Pilates instructor" but I'd recently moved to California, am self-employed in a sedentary job, and I wanted to do something that got me moving again and my body back in whack. That was an investment in Pilates. Another review, another time. Anywhoo! Dr. Melanie took a total inventory of my situation and immediately said it's not my back -- it's my HIP. Three muscles, all locked up. She did ART (active release therapy) which hurts like that first bad breakup in high school but felt AMAZING after. A small adjustment and some e-stim therapy later, I finally felt like I could move. I woke up the next day without the horrid pain I'd been carrying around. Went back today (2 days later) for a tune-up and more ART and an adjustment. WOOF. Real talk? I'm an idiot for not going to see a chiro sooner. I can move again. Now, everyone has different chiro preferences. So, Dr. Melanie might be right for you if: * you're scared of a bad adjustment and need someone to take it slow. * prefer someone who uses complementary therapies and not just crack-crack-crack. * you enjoy a small, intimate office environment where you're not going to be kept waiting for 20 minutes past your appointment time. * want someone who will treat your muscles as well as your spine because all that s*** it connected whether you like it or not. In 2 visits, my mobility is drastically increased, my pain is nearly nonexistent, and she's only recommending one more visit and then on an as-needed basis. Completely refreshing for a profession where some chiros want you to see you like they're Starbucks and they've got your daily mocha. read more

So I have always been nervous about chiropractors - and I would definitely be sure that it's the right option for you before trying one. But when my orthopedic suggested one as the best route for treatment to help me, and referred Dr. Gregorian, I gave it a shot. I have had sporadic neck issues (neck going "out" on occasion) for nearly 20 years, but six or so months ago, the issues became more chronic. After an x-ray and MRI showing no actual damage, my orthopedic referred me to Dr. Gregorian, believing it was related to stress tension. She confirmed that and began to work with my neck/shoulders using various techniques, testing different ones for effectiveness and my comfort level. It's been roughly a month, and I'm seeing a definite improvement in range of motion and pain. The office is also very nice, and the office staff pleasant and responsive - which isn't something I take for granted with medical offices. She is absolutely Fantastic! I did a wrong move a month ago... either I pulled.a muscle or pinched my sciatica and I couldn't move anymore. I was in bed in pain and my movements were very restricted. I felt very at ease pretty much as soon as i walked in to the office. I've been going for 3+ months now and it was my first time seeing a chiropractor. Dr. Gregorian and her staff are very easy to get along with and very good at what they do. As i mentioned I had never been to a chiropractor before, and on top of that I had major back surgery about 2.5 years ago so I was hesitant to try it out. But i did I'm so glad, because with Dr. Gregorians help my whole body just feels, better. I cannot say enough about Dr. Melanie Gregorian! And Ani, too! I have had symptoms of frozen shoulder for almost a year and a half and previously did 24 sessions of Physical Therapy to try to get rid of it. Needless to say, it did almost nothing. After seeing Dr. Gregorian a total of 12 times, I would say I'm about 75% there and I see a total recovery in my future! And I experienced relief and improved flexibility after just one session! I also appreciate she goes beyond just "cracking" the back and neck. As a matter of fact, we don't do that at all! She's even helping me treat my symptoms of GERD, which has been a recent and very tough development. Dr. Gregorian has the best asset of all great medicine practitioners; she listens!
