This location definitely has a more local vibe, and the customers seem to lean toward a more niche, enthusiast crowd. The place was decked out with real-world Space related memorabilia and tons of Scifi items. They also had several scifi named beers. Innerspace is a cool little brewery in Huntsville, which is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! Right out of downtown and near Campus 805, it's in a convenient location if you're looking for a cool spot to visit! When I stopped in on a Wednesday night, it was pretty busy and there was no parking left in the lot. Luckily there is street parking right around the corner that was very easy! There was plenty of seating inside at the bar and tables, and a nice patio outside. There were a lot of good sounding beers on tap, and I ended up deciding on the cotton candy cider because of how interested it sounded. I really enjoyed it and would definitely get it again! I didn't order any food, but the pizza that I saw others order looked great! The bartended was friendly and I enjoyed my experience. I will definitely return next time I am in Huntsville! read more

Okay...I love this small brewery. The food is amazing, and the beer is as well. They creativity in beer options is quite the treat and leaves much to enjoy. You really can't go wrong with all the options that are available. I can't overstate how good the smores beer was. And now on to the food.....fire! Best pizza ever! I tried a few and they were all delicious but my favorite was the spicy sriacha pizza. I wanted to eat more than I should have. This place is fun with all the Star Wars and outer space vibe and the beer selection was top notch. What a find! We were in town for a band competition, but as lovers of great breweries this was an easy choice. Which I'd make again in a heartbeat! Dag took terrific care of us from behind the bar, with just the right amount of sass and great recommendations. I particularly liked the Dark Skies and Cranberry Saisons. Pizza (we had the Proton Torpedo) and garlic knots were to die for. And who doesn't love a sci-fi theme! Wish we lived closer - we'd be regulars! The customer service was not good and the one beer we had was terrible. The other beer was just ok. The place is also not kept up with well.

I was excited to try this place and even picked out my food ahead of time. But they were out of mushrooms at 6:30 pm so I couldn't order the bourbon mushroom pizza I was craving. Food took over 45 minutes and the crust was burnt with cold toppings (bartender said they add the toppings last minute and then warm it together-yuck) Beer was luke warm. This place was awesome! A friend recommended inner space brewing after hearing about my love for sour beers/ciders and said I had to come here to try their cotton candy cider. After being greeted by the bartender I got my usual flight with cotton candy, blueberry milkshake, cranberry saison, and the s'mores ale. While the fruity beers were delicious, surprisingly the s'mores took the cake. They even put chocolate and graham crackers on the rim- it was like having dessert! Yum! I also ordered one of their pizzas with Gorgonzola and capicola (I needed a snack before a late dinner reso). This came out of the oven quickly and was light and delicious- just enough to keep me from getting hangry before dinner. Highly recommend this place! read more

The frang-a-tang is a great beer! The kitchen (pizza) wasn't open when the hours are, so be aware of that, because we came in at 1 for pizza and beer and the kitchen didn't open till 2. Of the flight, I only really liked frang-a-tang. read more

If you only have time for one brewery in Huntsville, make it InnerSpace! Super interesting beers, ciders, and sours on tap and such friendly helpful staff. Coming from the land of beer in the south (Asheville) I feel right at home at InnerSpace! The space is very basic, which I love. No need to go crazy to sell beer! As a self described nerd I also appreciate the Star Wars and Star Trek references throughout. They have games available to play as well. They have a small parking lot but there seems to be plenty of parking within walking distance as well! If you're lucky enough to have the Cotton Candy Cider or the Key Lime Gose on tap, definitely try them! This place has some great beer and a good ambiance. Especially good if you like saisons, but they also make excellent English style ales.

Delicious beers and wonderful staff. The beer first. The brewmaster knows how to push the envelope yet stay within the confines of the mainstream. That applies to the selection of beers on the menu and the taste of most of the beers on the menu. With respect to beer selection, the menu offers, for example, not only a regular saison but also a dark one. And not just one farmhouse but two. With respect to taste, the blueberry milkshake retains a flavor profile of what you might find in other breweries down the block but pushes it a bit further with the addition of lactose. And that makes all the difference. Next the staff. They were warm and inviting. Their hospitality made for an excellent environment. The free pretzels and popcorn didn't hurt either. 10/10. read more

Nice place; the Andromeda Stout is quite good. Parking is limited, as is the interior seating, but both were available. As with most restaurants and bars, some acoustic baffling would be appreciated. My main reason for docking the rating is the lack of adherence to the advertised motif: science fiction. On a small screen behind the bar is playing "The Starlost," a 1970's era low budget sci-fi -- on mute. But on the huge 20' x 10' projection screen? A high volume football game, with which the current patrons are apparently enthralled based on the shouts and screams. The bartender admitted no knowledge of the sci-fi program. I really enjoyed the rocketry theme and talking to the bartender they mentioned that they often have guest speakers from the Marshall Space Center to talk about current projects (e.g. Mars Rover).
