Yikes!!! for the size of this facility, they only have ONE single toilet for men or women. No hot water available.. I questioned the manager they said" health department made them turn the hot water off because it was too hot. " I asked if that was their only lavatory and she said yes so, I guess that means the employees only washed their hands with trickle cold water yuck . Food is good services OK. read more

The family and I took advantage of the great fall weather to visit Big Spring International Park and enjoy downtown Huntsville. We decided to check out Pane E Vino Pizzeria because me and the kids love pizza and we'd never been to this restaurant. Bottom line up front: this place was great! We were promptly seated out on the patio where we could people watch and enjoy the weather. Our drinks orders were taken promptly and we decided to order a few different pizzas. My daughter and I split the 16" Clemenza. It was was delicious -- the pepperoni and italian sausage pizza was great. I particularly enjoyed the thinly cut bell peppers (usually they are a tad raw and huge - these were very thinner sliced and cooked well). If you love sauce, I'd get some pizza sauce on the side to dip crust, that was the only downsides of the meal. The wife ordered the Da Vinci pizza which I was not a fan of; why would you order a pizza and then put a salad with balsamic vinegar on top? But she loved it and thought the pizza was very fresh. My youngest daughter got the kid's cheese pizza and it was awesome. It had great cheese pull and she scarred the whole thing. This was not one of those 'kids will eat whatever' meals, this was a great pizza in its own right. We got some Tiramisu to go and it was also delicious later at home. Our server, Danielle, was awesome. She was the only server on thr outdoor patio and she was super busy taking care of seven tables but our drinks never went empty and she was VERY attentive. If only all restaurants could have servers as good as Danielle I would be much happier when eating out. The pizza was great, a little on the pricier sode but worth it. Ingredients and food were good and service was excellent. Patio view in good weather was nice. Stop by and give them a shot! read more

Made reservations for dinner for two on a busy Saturday night. The place was busy but far from full - maybe half of the tables were empty. Apparently a staffing issue. We placed our order quickly to get ahead of the crowd. Our salad came out soon and the pizza about 10 min later. We had two glasses of house wine. The pizza was hot and fresh - excellent. The Greek salad was ok but overloaded with olives for some reason. The red wine was served at room temperature- which was way too warm to enjoy. They should know better. Overall - pizza 5 stars, service 3, but the warm wine dragged the whole experience down. read more

Fantastic!! We were babysitting our grandson and we ordered a couple of pizzas early to be delivered between 6:20 and 6:40pm. Our order was delivered at 6:30! Food quality is awful now under new management. They have changed recipe ingredients and it shows. I was also served lukewarm food.

My boyfriend and I just moved to Huntsville and would get their pizza for take out sometimes. We recently reserved to celebrate a birthday and thought it would be a good way to get our friends and family to try this spot. But this place was not very accommodating for a large group. If you want to reserve for a large group I would recommend going elsewhere, or getting take out. I had called to reserve weeks before and upon arrival I was told that we could not all be seated in one large combined table because they would "lose seating". So they expected us to all sit separately In tables of 4. Apparently sitting all together to them means sitting in the same room at different tables ? There is some logic behind "losing seating" but I had called 2 weeks before so they should have prepared. After a snarky manager, we decided to order to go, and they eventually changed their mind and combined some tables for us. I think they did this because it was a very very cold January day and they had plenty of extra chairs and tables outside that they could bring in if needed. But I'm not sure that the would have done it any other day. Overall, I would just advise that if you are booking for a large group please ask about the seating arrangements so that you are not surprised when you arrive! read more

Had the half Ceasar salad and 10 piece wings in buffalo sauce. Salad was good balance of dressing, shaved Parmesan cheese. Quite a few croutons and then chopped quite well ice berg lettuce. The wings came out warm, where my friends wings came out steaming hot. So not sure why mine were warm and breading on the wings were soggy from the sauce. Made me wandering if this was a plate they reheated versus made fresh since my friends five wings came out volcanic hot and crispy. Served with the same sauce as I. Then to wash it down, the sweet tea might have well been strip it was so sweet. Cutting it in half was still awful sweet. And I am a sugar-holic and this was to sweet to me. Great service. Just food prep on the wings was poor for my order. But friend loved theirs. I even got to try what they should have been. Sad. read more

I went here with some friends since it was close to the VBC. I had been wanting to try it out for some time. Their space was cute. They have a nice outdoor patio that they enclose in the winter months. The bathrooms were a little weird to find. They were tucked back in a different area of the building. I ordered a Greek salad and a pepperoni pizza. The salad was pretty good. The pizza was fine. Nothing to wrote home about, but it was ok. Parking can be a challenge. There is street parking sometimes or you have to park somewhere else and walk. read more

Everything about this food experience was exceptional: the food, the service, and the ambiance. When I took my daughter to the restroom, our plates were accidentally cleaned up while we were gone. When we returned to our table, the staff was quick to apologize and immediately made us another round of food to replace the plates that had been taken. They also gave us the most delicious desert on the house. It's easier to be exceptional when everything is going right, but it's rare to be exceptional when things go a little wrong. Great hidden spot attached to the Huntsville Museum of Art. Service was excellent with our server Lauren paying attention to every detail and making us feel welcomed. She excels at customer service and provided suggestions from the menu. The food was amazing. We had the butternut squash ravioli and chicken carbonara. She made sure that both our plates were prepared as shareable sizes. 20 out of 10!!! It was cozy and easy to talk with the noise level. We love Pane e Vino! It is our go to family restaurant. My daughter recently had her 13th birthday party on the patio. We walked over from the Ice Skating rink in Big Spring Park. The staff was exceptional! They prepared hot chocolate for 14 kids and had it ready on the table when we arrived. They even had bowls of marshmallows! It was perfect. Stopped by for dinner while in town. We had a group of 13 and they gladly accommodated us. Server was knowledgeable and even suggested their favorite beverages and food items. The mozzarella sticks were crispy. The bruschetta was very fresh. The pizza was flavorful and the crust was crispy and held up nicely to the toppings that were loaded on. The restaurant was mostly empty except for us on the inside but the outside seating area was almost full and also very nice and I imagine enjoying the seasonable weather outside while dining would be enjoyable!
