Thanks to the confidence SwimGuru gave her, and us as parents, we also have our two-year-old son in lessons with coach Nick. After seeing how successful our daughter was with the lessons, big thanks to Coach Jessica, I am a huge supporter of the program and recommend it to anyone and everyone who wants to get their kids swimming and safe around water. It's definitely an investment of time and money, but the piece of mind is truly priceless. These private lessons just go to show the importance of a well trained teacher. The teachers take a lot of pride and invest a lot of time and energy and thought into what they do with each child. There is a lot of child psychology that goes into teaching young kids how to swim, and I don't think that is addressed in most other programs which really sets apart SwimGuru. While they are only 15 minutes long, I do believe the kids get a lot more out of the short lessons with focused attention than a 30 minute group lesson. Fair warning that scheduling can be tricky, as there is a huge demand for these lessons. However, Molly is an excellent resource at SwimGuru who can walk you through the process and provide support.

Because of the pandemic, my two children didn't get to continue their swim lessons and were 5 and 7 without knowing how to swim. I found Swim Guru and it has made all the difference. Group lessons just were not working for my kids - even before the pandemic. They really made no gains in a group setting. With SwimGuru my kids made incredibly rapid gains and are now both swimming! The swim test once they pass basic skills is also an important step that most swim places don't bother with. My kids were originally so scared of the water and very quickly became comfortable and then confident and joyful under the calm, competent coaching. We've worked with coach Helen and coach Molly - both of whom are wonderful. Every single coach is great and so are all the pool locations. Thank you SO much for teaching my kids to swim, helping them gain an important safety-oriented life skill and giving me peace of mind.

My kids love coming here to shoot hoops during open gym and we have registered them for multiple sports with great experiences each time. Family friendly and clean! What's not to love? I do wish the pool had a better schedule and was a bit bigger but over all a great facility. We are a family of six, 2 adults and 4 kids and you can't beat the price for the family membership.

The space was large, looked clean, and well laid out. We enjoyed the expansive family changing areas, different and a great surprise. Lockers are available, too for use while swimming in the large pool. The pool was separated in half. One half was composed of four lap lanes; good signage for those wishing to swim slow, medium or fast. The second half was also split in half, creating two smaller, square pools, one shallow (2-4 feet) the other deeper (4-5 feet). The shallow side held a water structure, shaped like a mushroom, that showered upon the kids splashing and playing in the area. (To turn this feature on, a lifeguard must be notified.) In order to be free to swim in the deep end (where there is a tube slide, which wasn't in use during our visit), one must prove to the lifeguards competency and skill - jump far enough in to hold your head underwater, swim the length of the pool without resting or stopping, and float or tread water for 30 seconds. This is a great tool for encouraging up-coming swimmers, as well as keeping people safe. Well done! After our swim session, our friends gave us a little tour of the class spaces, gymnasium, workout machines, free coffee/tea/hot cocoa, and kids/teen play and hang out spaces. It's a great facility and we look forward to coming back!
