ZERO customer service, I was having a pitcher of beer & a medium pizza, $59.94 w/an 18% tip because I appreciate good service & I'll pay for it before I get my food & that's just what I do for service industry.. I asked "Jun" to please put my order in a to go box so I could finish my beer & have a slice, brings my HOT (burnt my hand) pizza on a this piece of cardboard, leaves me a half made box & says, "just pick it up & put in the box when your done".. I asked for it in the box so it didn't get cold because it was to go, he walked away & I p/u scorching hot pizza immediately to put away, it folded like a taco & dropped half of my pizza on the floors. I said, "dude I just dropped my pizza", he turned away & I start to clean up, only 2 other tables in this small area, he clearly watched & I walked up again & told him, I just dropped my pizza, could you help me? He scoops up half my $40 medium pizza & said absolutely nothing.. Asked him why I was served on cardboard w/no silver plate underneath, assured me that that's how they have served, I told him he was wrong, I grew up on this place, told me, "ask anyone in the back, we've never served pizza on anything but cardboard! Yelling @ me! Maybe I'm not remembering correctly about the way it was served but, I will provide pics that were served on silver pizza plates. The way the cardboard was ripped & creased & folding in the picture, who would serve a hot pizza like that & leave a box for customer when I had requested when I ordered it be in a to go box? Im @ the very least looking for an, "im sorry, can I make you a new pizza since half is on the floor"? NOTHING, when I asked, am I just supposed to eat this? No response.. The ambience is very casual appropriate for families with little kids. The pizza is very good and they offer personal pizza sizes. They sell Mojo's, but I wasn't able to order any on this particular trip as their fryer was out but I was told that they're pretty popular. I would not order the wings at all. The wings are not deep-fried their oven baked, which might be more healthy, but they also don't have any flavor whatsoever. They're actually mushy and soggy with a very light sauce that might be buffalo. I'm assuming that the wings are put into the oven frozen and then they're cooked simply because there's nothing crispy about them. This was the second time that I had ordered them because I forgot that the first time they weren't good; this time they were just as bad. The employees are nice and friendly. read more

Barro's Pizza is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. You can either call in for takeout, order online for takeout, or order in person for takeout/dine in. I ordered 6 piece chicken wings, 2 medium pizzas (joey's special and barro's special), and baked manicotti. Everything was ready for pick up in 20 minutes. The restaurant is pretty big with a lot of open seating and they have a section in the back for claw machines. They also have plenty of television if you want to watch sports or anything. The service was quick and attentive. They offer Monday to Wednesday specials, but only for one-topping pizzas. It was a bit pricey for the amount of food we received. One of our all-time favorite pizza places. Grew up in Diamond Bar and this was our go-to. Not much authentic left in DB and Walnut. Went there yesterday for our classic ham and cheese pizza and it was delicious as always!! Actually it was extra yummy and cheesy! I commuted home with it and it was still so delicious!! Service- I simply call it in and swing by to pick it up. Same friendly guy every time. Ambience- hardly dine in, but there's plenty of seating. Perfect for team parties and office lunches. Our go-to order is the 20-piece chicken wings, which are hands-down the most worth-it item, plus the Barro Special and a pineapple & sausage pizza with extra cheese. The Barro Special is loaded with bell peppers which I love and the extra cheese just hits the spot. The crust is perfection, and I always get ranch on the side for that perfect dip (chef's kiss!). The staff here are always so nice, helpful, and in great spirits, which we really appreciate. While waiting for our pizza, we can't resist trying our luck on the claw machine there goes $10 every time! Parking in the plaza is never an issue, and as a bonus, there's a Paris Baguette a few doors down, which has become our go-to dessert stop after pizza. They also have Monday-Wednesday specials, but they're only for one-topping pizzas. Honestly, I wish they'd switch it up to two-topping specials for a bit more variety. I used to eat at this spot when I was in high school at DBHS, my friend worked here. I revisited this last weekend and can say it's still as good now as I remember it. The pizza is pricey but comes with great quality and taste. Even the garlic bread, while basic, is tasty. Their salads are pretty janky but I was able to pretend that it was a beneficial choice. The game room is a complete rip off. $1 per game for .10 cent prizes that even a gifted child is going to struggle to win. I saw failure with every parent and child during my visit. They should put some kid appropriate interactive arcade games in to promote play with socialization as the prize. No complaints on the service. Shortly after I arrived a large little league team came to celebrate a victory. The young lady taking orders handled the crowd well, the guys preparing the food dished out quality pizza all afternoon long. The restaurant is clean with plenty of seating. This is one of the worst pizzas I've had in awhile. The inside looks ghetto and pizzas were terrible we could not finish them.

We ordered the specialty Roma pizza and a jalapeño and ham pizza, boneless wings and mojos. The pizza was pretty good. Kids liked the chicken bits and everyone liked the mojos. The pizza is served on a small cardboard which causes pizza crust to touch the table. The Roma pizza had RAW onion and tomatoes. Kind of a weird topping but the kids ate it. Overall it was decent and filling. The service was good being that they were busy. We asked for extra sauces and got them. Staff was friendly. The place could definitely be cleaner. There was grime on the walls and counter in the bathroom, sticky floors, food and trash on the floors, and dirty tables. There was definitely enough employees to have one person on clean up duty. The trash cans were overfilled and when we tried to throw out our trash a lot of it fell out. Gross. read more

Not only was the food bad, the service was even worse I ordered hot wings and they were dryer than the mojave desert, no sauce as if its illegal. As I opened the pizza box I was even more disappointed, its as if they just dumped a load of sauce and thick layer of cheese and decided to only cook it halfway, as i grabbed a slice it all fell apart. The woman who answered the phone was a sweetheart, but I asked her a question and she went to the manager or cook and he gave me a real jerkoff answer, I was in awe in the lack of his customer service skills. I found out about this place through Diamond Bar Restaurant Week. I thought it was the same as the one in Whittier, but when I asked they said they weren't affiliated with them. This place has a typical pizza menu with standard toppings and a few speciality pizzas, nothing too crazy or fusion. They also have sandwiches, pastas, salads, and appetizers like wings and mojos. I got the lunch special - 2 topping individual pizza, salad, and drink. The pizza was good with a delicious thicker crust. It wasn't overly greasy like some pizzas get. The individual salad is generous sized. There is a self serve fountain drink area with Coke products. Plenty of seating available, tv's on all corners of the restaurant, and friendly service.
