The Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper were served as crispy dry-rub wings, and they had an amazing crunch while still being juicy on the inside. The spicier option was okay, not the type of flavor I usually enjoy, but I can see why people enjoy it. Fries were on point. We got a large amount for the order. Workers are friendly and quick to assist. We were in and out in under an hour. Lots of seating inside the restaurant. I can see it being more of a place for larger parties as the music is loud. The person at the front was really nice, he recommended that I get dirty fries and split them up into different boxes, so I could eat what I was craving for a reasonable price. The portion was decent for the price as well. The food was very flavorful - the wings were balanced and crispy and the fries were salted well and coated with fresh garlic. I knew there was a fairly new place in the Claremont area off Indian Hill, but I didn't know it was this place. It's inconspicuous and a bit hidden since it's the southernmost location right before the railroad tracks. I came here for dinner since I was walking in the area, and I decided to try. There were two groups--a group of guys hanging out and laughing and another family who sounded like they've been here before. The chicken wasn't dry and really tasty! The garlic noodles were pretty awesome, and I can never get too much garlic. The owner runs the show, so there were times when he was gone or taking care of other stuff when some Uber eats guy came in and waited for a bit to pick up his order. It's a great place if you're in the mood for chicken. I'd like to come back and try some ramen with the amount of selection I've seen here. The guys who were here ended up having a conversation in Korean (i believe), and it was cool to hear them connect. The guys bowing before they left was just cool to see also. Respect. Saw a crazy good online video ad for this place online so ya, I bit....Its next to the railroad tracks in downtown Claremont. I ordered Garlic noodles and wings while my girl had build your own Ramen. While I like the concept, it was executed with incompetence. The kid behind the counter looked at me like I was nuts when I asked: "ok so what should I do for 'build your own ramen'?" Woefully unhelpful...There were no directions but you order a ramen bowl, choose what toppings you want, then pick your Ramen pack from the selection on the wall, then, they bring you a bowl with your toppings. You then drop your noodle block into the bowl, then you use the hot water machines to add water. No directions anywhere. I was so put off I almost asked for my money back and just walked out. Eureka burger is right around the corner. It ALWAYS hits right. No directions required. Wings were very good. Crispy and a good size, the sauce on them was quite tasty. I chose Spicy Bomb sauce. The garlic noodles were NOT good however. Too al dente, and were nothing but rubbery ribbons of noodles that were hard to chew which was highly disappointing. If you come here, venture the build a ramen bowl, it was ok... Order some wings, they were good. steer clear of the garlic noodles. There might be some other things on the menu worth trying. Even though the wings had a nice glaze coating on them when you bit into the wing it had a nice crunch. The Spicy Korean Wings had just the right amount of heat and the Honey BBQ Wings had nice sweetness to them. The noodles were cooked well but could have had a bit more garlic. The wings were well seasoned and very large. After frequenting Wingstop, their quality had drastically dropped in quality and size. I found it nice that the wings here were fantastic. I ordered the Soy Garlic and the Korean Spicy. The fries were also great. They had a great crunch to them and taste. Overall, I enjoyed all of the food, but enjoyed the spicy garlic noodles even more so. I noticed that they also had a ramen setup with different Korean ramens. After getting out of class, I was looking for a meal and this place was still open. I decided to give them a chance and unfortunately that's all I can give them because I probably won't be back. I ordered the Steak Nachos and Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. Out of the two I did like the nachos, but not enough to where I would order it again. It's a good enough portion to share but the flavors just didn't hit. The steak was marinated in an extremely sweet sauce. I might have thought it was some kind of weird dessert if I closed my eyes. I prefer this style of nacho cheese but it's not saying much because I'm sure it came out of a can. The guacamole was bland and the jalapeños weren't spicy but they were really salty. I took a few bites of the chicken bowl and was done. I couldn't finish it because it just wasn't good. They use chicken breast which is probably one of the worst to use in this application because it dries out extremely easily and gets tough as it cools down. The rice tasted old and the texture was dry and hard. The toppings made absolutely no sense. You get two mounds of cold sides which will only work to cool down the rice and chicken. There seemed to be shredded egg covered in a sweet and creamy sauce and then a bed of coleslaw. Extremely unnecessary and doesn't work together at all. Again, the sauces were so sweet. I am thoroughly convinced that they're named Wings and Bowls because you will want to grow wings and fly far away. The service was also so bad. I think they got the Bowls part of their name because all the workers smoked hella bowls before their shift. The cashier that took my order seemed uninterested and also moved pretty slowly. I have no idea how many people they had in the kitchen but they also moved slowly. The cashier told me my order should be ready in 10 minutes but I waited 20-25 minutes.
