Dave did an incredible job bringing the paint, interior, and highlights back to life on my seven year old car. He was able to remove all of the blemishes on the dark blue paint with his detailing techniques. He seems to use the best materials available because my car looks brand new. The beige interior was starting to look dark after years to normal wear and tear, and after the visit, the color came back like new again. Dave uses a system to remove the heavy oxidation on the headlights and make them 100% clear. He is very professional and takes pride in his work. I have to agree that he did a nice job on our cars, but we could not depend on him to follow up. I did not argue with price, but when I called to set up an appointment, he said, " I am just scheduling my week, I will call you back."...and he never did. This happened 3 times. I don't care how busy you are....busy is good...but not following up is unprofessional. No one is that good....I guess Dave doesn't need any more business. Dave does incredible work. He performed his magic on my Lexus GS350 F Sport to perfection. The paint had typical swirls, light scratches and even a few deep scratches. Dave was able to remove everything except a few of the deep scratches. He did such a killer job that even the deep scratches are extremely hard to notice unless you really know where they are at. I found Innovative Detailing while looking for a new detailing place. As luck (bad luck actually) would have it, just a few days later while parking my BLACK car I managed to scrape the top of the rear wheel well and the back door against a large WHITE pillar . Having a black car there was no way to hide the damage! The side of my car looked like white road rash. I prayed that this damage is something that can be detailed out. Come Tuesday morning, since I work up the street, I rushed over to Innovative Detailing. I was worried that if the damage was fixable that I would have to pay through the nose! Upon meeting Dave, who made it a point to come out and shake my hand, I was comforted by the fact that my car was going to be in good hands. He inspected the damage himself and worked up a plan for me at a REASONABLE price. Even though he was busy detailing other cars, he was able to squeeze in my appointment for a few hours. When I came out to pick up the car, I was really impressed with how well the damage was repaired. The damage on the surface was gone and the deeper scratches (which Dave warned me about earlier) were touched up with black paint. The side of my car looked fantastic! I would also like to comment that not only did Dave's shop did a fantastic job on fixing the damage on my car - their customer service is TOP NOTCH!!! I have to say that this is the first car-related shop that treated me with respect and kindness! Since I am a female, most car shops treat me poorly and try to pressure me in to un-necessary services assuming that I know nothing about cars. I knew of Dave's excellent reputation within the Corvette community so when I decided to sell my 2013 Grand Sport I called Innovative Detailing to give my Corvette a complete and thorough detail. Although Dave has a nice shop in Tustin, he agreed to my request for a mobile detail at my home in Oceanside about an hours drive south of Tustin. He arrived on time in his mobile detailing van that held all of his equipment including several light stands to get the best possible view of the paint. I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He worked diligently for 6 hours cleaning every nook and cranny including inside the wheel barrels. He exceeded my high expectations. The Vette looks amazing. Better now than when it was new. The body panels are so smooth and reflective. The seats and interior are equally gorgeous. This morning I picked up my car from the BMW service and they did a complimentary wash. I then drove to get some gas. While pumping gas I noticed there was still tar on my car. I was using the window washer scrub to try and get if off. As I was doing this Dave pulled up at the gas station and jumped out of the car and told me to stop. David is a genius in what he does! I would not take my car to anyone else. He did a final finish on my 2000 em1 after it came back from paint so I knew he was the man to call. I bought a brand new 2017 Civic Type R and unfortunately it had more factory paint flaws than what I had expected. About two weeks ago I had my '05 Nissan 350Z, 35th Anniversary Edition detailed by Innovative Detailing. What I got was an OUTSTANDING detail job that made my car look like it just came off the showroom floor again!! As a person in the customer service industry there are several things that I came to respect and appreciate about Innovative Detailing. * First, Dave knows the detail business and has a great reputation for quality service and is a family owned business. * He personally spent the time with me to go over the car in detail, what I wanted done with it and what my expectations were. Never did I feel he was rushing me or pushing me into a choice I didn't want. * He presented me with several options not just one. I chose the best one for my situation and got the detail package which included detailing inside and out along with a clay process on the exterior paint. While my car has always been garage kept, I thought the paint was in good shape. After Innovative Detailing was done, it came out even better than I could have expected (or ever done myself!). * Dave had also recommended other services for my car that I have yet to take him up on such as removing an ever so bothersome door ding just below the drivers side door handle (only one on the car!!) and a process to remove marred scratches and scrapes from my wheel rims. I just purchased a new C7 Corvette Stingray and have been looking for a high quality detail shop to get the car off to a good start. I don't trust anyone to touch the paint on my car unless I am sure they knew what they are doing and Dave, the owner, came very highly recommended on the Corvette Forum. I gave Dave a call and he was able to fit me in for a Saturday appointment on short notice. He was really informative over the phone and even more so in person. He even gave me some great tips on how to wash and give the car a mini detail myself to keep the car looking right between professional detailings. He really loves what he does and it absolutely shows. I opted for the Innovative Detailing New Vehicle Prep package and the car came out looking far better than when I bought it (despite the fact that it was the centerpiece of the dealer's showroom) and I now have the piece of mind knowing that Dave and his team went over the entire car bumper to bumper to make sure it is in the best condition it can be. I'm going back as soon as I can to have them install Xpel PPF and do some window tinting. My 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee had severe hazing/cloudiness on the front headlights, and the Tustin Jeep dealer quoted $370 to replace each headlight plus labor. They said they could also do headlight restoration but said depending on the severity of the haze the results might just be 50% to 75% of original clarity. I checked around on the Internet just to get more info on headlight restoration and found Innovative Detailing. Dave the owner told me he could restore to 95% to 99% clarity and gave an excellent price quote as well. Plus he could do the work at my location in Irvine, so I arranged to have Innovative Detailing do the headlight restoration instead of the dealer. He arrived promptly, worked fast and the results were AMAZING, like brand new headlights. I had not seen such clear headlights on my 99 Jeep since it was new. I actually was skeptical before the work started that the restoration would make a difference but I was a believer after Dave got done. Great work and excellent prices = great value. read more
