But, we wanted a working Wii so my wife called around and discovered this place. They couldn't repair our game system but sold us a replacement one (minus the cords and stuff which we already had and thus didn't need) for around $20, with a 30-day warranty. We took it home and it works. So, we are back to playing the Wii. Wheeee! They also sold retro toys, board games, video games, movies, and other "nerdish" things. It was a fun walk through, though you could easily empty your wallet and walk out with some nifty things if you aren't careful.

Movies are used but very cheap, and they actually organize them by category and name. Who does that? As a result, it is super easy to go in and see what they have. Furthermore, unlike buying movies online that arrive scratched and unable to play, I think they must recondition them before sale because they look great and I have never had a problem with a disc not playing. They also have movie posters, collectible magazines, Hess trucks, sports memorabilia, and who knows what else? However, I just go for the movies. When I can get a bunch of DVDs for $20 (the cost of a new movie these days), I am a happy camper.

The floor to ceiling movie shelves has a giant selection of movies for excellent deals if your a movie/gamer or it's a great place to venture with the kids on a Friday for some good selections. The owners are the friendliest folks who love to chat & seem 2know all their repeat customers on a personal basis. They are so organized when you are lost in a huge selection & ask if they have a certain movie they have them all logged & find them fast. Not to mention the others do not specialize in classic games and systems. Pastimes Legends really is a one stop game shop. I've also used them to have systems repaired in the past as well. No complaints with that service. I don't know that there is really anything else to say... the staff in knowledgeable and helpful. 5 stars. Anything video game related... new or old... Pastime Legends is the place to go.

They have a very large selection of video games and compared to other stores around, they have good prices. I wanted a new Nintendo Switch 2, had several old systems to sell, and wasn't quite sure of my options. They were super helpful, gave me what I considered a good price on my used trade-ins, and worked with me to place my order. One note of caution: they are in the same plaza as a popular pizzeria and parking is tight at mealtimes, especially on the weekends.

The first time I brought stuff in the guy working misquoted me a higher number for one of the items I brought in by A LOT. The second time I brought stuff in a different guy told me, after running it through some "tests", that my iPhone was locked to the ATT network even after I told them that couldn't be possible because I purchased it unlocked directly from Apple. He offered me at least $50 less for it because of this. In addition, they rejected another one of my items because they "couldn't get it to charge". Needless to say I did not sell my items to them. I got home popped a Verizon SIM card in my iPhone and LO AND BEHOLD the phone works. I also plugged the other item in and LO AND BEHOLD it charged right up and held its charge. Basically they wasted an hour of my life and lost business. I do hope the guy who told me my iPhone was locked just made an honest mistake BUT he would have some money to gain if he had convinced me to sell it to him at the lower locked price then turned around and sold it as an unlocked. My suggestion to you would be to make sure you go on the CEX website and get your own quote for the items you are thinking of bringing in. Secondly, try and be in the store when the manager Alissa is working because she actually knows what she's doing. Several of the employees there are unprofessional, slightly rude, and don't know how to do their job correctly.
