I feel really bad about upsetting him so much but at the same time I feel like he lacked the patience to see past an initial misunderstanding, followed up by an earnest attempt by me trying to understand the logistics of the project that I was asking about. He even went on to say I was disrespecting him for stating that it may just have been a large undertaking. I meant no disrespect I just meant to express my ignorance in the field and I was trying to make light of the fact that I'm no expert and I don't know the feasibility of what I'm asking for. 1 star for making me feel 2 inches tall and storming off on me for having trouble understanding Braden his inability to remain patient and walk me through it or just put it on the back burner and say I can show you what I mean later in the design if you wish to proceed. They are truly service-oriented from the moment you reach out to them, and it starts with Dan. He's friendly, responsive and provides detailed estimates immediately for whatever work is needed. We have a 5-zone sprinkler system with a combination of drip lines and sprinklers in the front and backyard. It's a funky arrangement that needed a serious upgrade. His crew (Marvin and Jose) are miracle workers! They are real problem solvers who managed to reroute some existing sprinkler lines, fix several hidden leaks and provide more water coverage in several zones. Marvin and Jose are a joy to watch. They really enjoy their work and it shows. Marvin will even sing while he's putting in new drip lines or tying off others, and nothing seems to faze him. Both men are polite, courteous and appreciative of drinks and snacks while they work. They say "Thank you, so much" every time. After spending the entire day at our home, we tested the system and everything worked well, but there were a few dry spots I noticed the next day. Dan came by today to collect payment and I showed him the areas where water wasn't quite reaching and he said, "No problem." Marvin and Jose will come back to make a few adjustments -- at no extra charge. Best of all, the new parts they install are guaranteed for 5 years instead of one. Who does that? All in all, this was a terrific experience and I wish I had hired this company 13 years ago when we landscaped our yard. I'm so impressed with them and you will be, too.

He was knowledgeable, easy to work with, and gave me a great price for the work. Several days later he and one of his employees came back and did the job. I can honestly say that my yard has never looked this good in the 30 plus years I have lived here. The edging was sharp and they created a lovely rounded shape around my lacy leaf maples. My camellia bushes are now down to a size where I can actually reach the flowers! All evidence of debris was cleaned up and taken with them . He came out and after walking through my overgrown pollinator garden, he gave me a quote which was pretty much consistent with the others. Big difference? He communicates well, he is ethical, he shows up on time, works hard, cleans up afterward. He is also a nice man who cares about the quality of what he does. Joseph is knowledgeable about many plants and trees. To his credit, when he encountered one he wasn't familiar with, he set about educating himself so he would do things right. He pruned my Mock Orange, Oregon Grapes, my Japanese Maple, a wildly out of control espaliered Apple tree, thinned out some fading seasonals, and pulled up a dying azalea I'd tried, but failed, to bring back.
