A ride that makes you feel like you're a ball rolling on the tracks of inside out. More of a tots ride to twirl to their hearts content. Not so great if you get dizzy or have motion sickness. The tight spin is located towards the far corner of the midway. Near the silly swings and boardwalk pizza. You'll pass under the coaster tracks and hear the screams of people riding.

I always get dizzy on this ride but its still fun. You sit in an emotional hot air balloon and float in a circle like a merry go round. Tonight was short probably because it was a Oogie Boogie night, but tbh it's not really a long wait on regular evenings either.

So cute! This is an adorable ride for kids. And maybe some adults can enjoy it as well. Not a whole lot to this ride though. You sit in the bucket like seats and it takes you around in circles- but it's nice and slow. You go up and down too- but it isn't aggressive. It's a nice, easy, ride to go on. Definitely more for the kids. The ride is based on the Disney movie Inside Out. The movie is about emotions and is a great educational movie for kids. The ride has some of the characters on it with the emotion that they represent. There's also a spot for a photo opportunity too!

This ride feels exactly like the name. It seems nice and then all of a sudden gets chaotic and you're spinning and it's over. It's literally my brain when When I hang out with some of my friends. Short and sweet ride, yet a little rowdy.

Anything longer than a 10-15 minute wait would make this ride not worth it to be quite honest since it was pretty short and it's just a Dumbo without the controls to be honest. I have never seen Inside Out so I can't really comment on the theming aspect of the ride, but it was neat to see some of the characters as the ride spun around and that each little "hot air balloon" was themed after a different emotion or aspect of human nature. Different characters from the movie narrate the safety instructions and different lines during the ride. I would recommend going on it at night since the lights all around make it super pretty, BUT know that it gets pretty dang cold, especially since you're near water.

For kiddos, I can see this being a great attraction but for adults it is definitely a one and done for me. The wait time can be 15+ minutes and the ride is so short that it isn't worth it in my opinion. Additionally, compared to other rides and attractions I feel like the theming is lacking in comparison. I hope with the new film coming that it gets a refurbishment to improve theming.

Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind is a pretty nice ride. It's nice for kids to enjoy. It is a nice and slow ride. Will be getting on the ride again. You can hear some of the characters on the ride.

Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind is a Inside Out themed ride that has 8 Memory Movers. It's located in Disney's California Adventure within Pixar Pier next to Silly Symphony Swings. My family and I stopped by this ride on a Friday morning around 8:30 A.M. There was no wait time at this ride. It was really short ride. The memory mover that you sit in goes up and down, in a circular motion. It may make you feel dizzy or motion sick afterwards. I think it may have been re-themed as there was a similar ride in the A Bug's Land before it was changed to Avengers in Disney's California Adventure. I wouldn't recommend riding this ride if the wait time is more than 15 minutes during the day, however, it's beautiful at night as you'll be able to see the lights of Pixar Pier.

What an emotional whirlwind! I will go through emotional whirlwind if I do not get to experience this attraction! This ride is pure chill. It's colors, it's excitement... do you enjoy the movie? You will enjoy the attraction! I think the colors on this ride are so attractive and bright. It's a great addition next to Bing Bong's. The theming is excellent. Fully immersive with the movie posters as you're in the queue. This ride is fully outside. Relaxing and delightful! I am only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I think it should be a touch longer. I love the characters especially the "famous unicorn!". This attraction is too cute. I recommend it for the whole family!!!

Located in DCA don't let this ride fool you it looks simple but once on it it goes pretty fast and up and down slightly but I actually felt dizzy and woozy afterwards not your typical ride going around in a circle.

Family-friendly ride. Not much of a view though.

Emotional Whirlwind is literally Flick's Flyers repurposed into a half-baked "Inside Out" themed ride. Disney totally moved the ride from the now-defunct Bug's Land and gave it a new coat of paint. Look, I'm glad they added another ride to the once-boring Paradise Pier area, but this is a lame attraction. You pile into one of 8 baskets and then it spins around sort of like Dumbo, except that you don't get to pilot your own basket. It does seem to go a little faster (and feels higher than the old Flick's Flyers because it's on an elevated platform), but there's hardly any view to speak of and the soundtrack is stupid (with characters from the movie saying things that don't really add anything to the ride). This is a family-friendly attraction, but the ride is too short and too blah to really recommend it.

Date of visit: August 25, 2019 One of the best rides in A Bug's Land was Flik's Flyers... so when the area was shuttered last year to begin construction on Avengers Campus, the ride was repurposed to become the Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind. A little paint job here, a relocation to the old Maliboomer location (and new attraction backdrop) there, and we're good to go! That said, if you've ridden Flik's Flyers, the Emotional Whirlwind is pretty much the same ride; you choose your gondola, and up you go for about a 90-second spin. While there's no shade overhead like in the previous ride, the colorful backdrop and fun music are still nice to experience. Plus, it may be just us, but since the upgrade, it feels faster than Flik's Flyers. Don't forget to get pics of the Disgust and Fear figures on the outside!

Pretty fun with small kids, line goes fast took maybe 15-20 minutes on a weekday. We got the Joy basket and the ride is very short.

Usually its only for SoCal residents. Loved that they opened it to all of CA. We had a great time..shopping, eating, sightings of Star Wars characters, and of course the rides. A few tips if its your first time to Disneyland. 1) Entrance lines go pretty quickly if you have your bar code ticket ready in the app. Note, its an option but you can get your pic taken at that time, upon entry 2) Always use your Disney app to know what rides may be down for maintenance. 3) To order food, there's an option in app to order food in advance with pickup times. Super helpful if you want to avoid standing in line. This isnt for restaurants but Quick Order eateries. 4) Know you routes around Disney. If you know walking routes to each land, it can save you a good amount of time. 5) Use app for parades, character photo ops, other entertainment times. 6) Always plan out your day at Disney or you will get frustrated being in all the lines. 7) Dont be shocked at prices for food, prices for merch, prices for everything. This is Disneyland...newsflash, you're gonna spend money.

While I had not heard too much about it, I dedicated my whole day to exploring DLR and wanted to make the most of it. That being said, I purchased a Park Hopper ticket and made my way over after spending the first have the day in DL. Opened in 2001, DCA was not an immediate hit at its debut. In fact, it took a major facelift in order to start gaining some traction in terms of park attendance. The park is Disney's interpretation of California, separated into different lands based on regional areas of the state or by Disney IP. Some of the strongest areas IMO are San Fransokyo Square, paying homage to the Asian heritage in SF, and Pixar Pier which is a huge area combining Disney-Pixar theming with vintage California coastal vibes. While I feel this is the more adult park when comparing it to DL, there is a lot for kids to do here as well. There's a also a strong selection of attractions, and the shopping and dining are also decent. I took a spin on the parks icon - the Pixar Pal-a-Round, which provided awesome views of the park and greater Anaheim area. If comparing DCA to DL, it's my opinion the former is the stronger park - the theming and types of attractions speak to me more. Overall, I thought DCA was great - it's definitely an enhancement DLR as a whole, and I would no doubt return next time I plan a visit here.

Previously, I had attended during an unfortunate time when the kiddy pool was being closed down to be shocked multiple times. Back to back. Incidents that shut the pool down for hours at a time and then caused my health to also be affected thereafter.... I came back for this visit since my kids' Cub Scout group was celebrating their year end achievements and it was a great opportunity to join our community and give it another shot for the kids. They also were older and not on the baby pool. Well, I'm so glad I did. Despite the renovations going on, things seemed more organized and clean. The check- in process was much more streamlined and efficient and our rooms were ready and clean (no carpets!! Yay clean room!) with a view that wasn't great since the climbing area was literally right outside, but the kids loved it! Everyone still gets their free wolf ears too. The restaurant breakfast buffet had staff around to mind all the little and big hands reaching for food and we had a "breakfast taco bar" the family really enjoyed. The pool is full of flavors for all age levels and adventurers but a treat for me was seeing the outside pool area- there were loungers in the water, shaded regular seats, cabanas and no echos. It was like a resort! Inside is louder and humid while outside is full sun but open. Something for everyone. Lots of fun free and paid activities so be sure to check the schedule. We took part in story time (free) and yoga (free). I also appreciated the midweek crowd level even for a summer. I recommend you give it a try to see if it's a fit for your family! Okay thanks bye

The free games were the blue tap games, so you don't earn tickets, but there were still a ton of fun options. We didn't even come close to using the full 3 hours because there was so much to do. My favorites were the basketball games and Connect 4 basketball. We played a few rounds of laser tag, which was super fun, but a lot of the equipment seemed broken that day. They also couldn't split us into teams, so everyone was playing individually instead. The go-karts were really fun for a group we got a whole round to just our coworkers. Some of the karts definitely felt faster than others, which made things interesting. We also did mini golf, and the course was much bigger than I expected. It took quite a while to get through all the holes. One thing to note is that the rides don't always have staff standing by them. If you want to ride something, you may have to find an employee and ask them to operate it. Overall, there was honestly more to do than we could fit into the 3 hours. We didn't even get to everything we wanted to try. Despite a few operational issues, we had a really fun time and felt like the event package offered a lot of value.

This was a good value compared to regular prices. Enjoyed the go carts twice; attendants were very patient with customers and trouble makers. Cart track is super fun, carts ran well, fun competition! Bumper boats were closed; perhaps weather isn't warm enough yet or demand was low. Two fountain sodas at the snack bar were $13. Pretty outrageous. Tried to use the batting cages. Our unlimited pass didn't seem to apply however, which was disappointing, as our key cards were unable to activate the cages in two different lanes. We moved on to mini golf. Well lit and good music is the best I can say. Overall I can tell the courses have been improving from a maintenance standpoint but the greens are TERRIBLE. If you have to putt over broken turf or your ball gets stuck in a pit of death that used to be part of the brick border, it disrupts the fun and becomes frustrating. Seriously, Boomers. Put some of that ridiculous soda pop revenue into fixing your miserable astroturf. There were tears and holes everywhere. The arcade gets periodically updated but we didn't use it this time due to time constraints. Always had fun on the multitude of games available. Same with laser tag, we just ran out of time. Was not crazy about the process for golf putters and bats for the batting cages. There only seemed to be one person in charge of handing these out from the desk and they were stuck handling a long ticket line so we pretty much helped ourselves by reaching over the counter and grabbing what we needed.

It's always clean, there are many decent fast meal options, and it feels relaxing under the palm trees on springy days. Inside, you have so many options to game--from Mario Brothers to Space Invaders. You can fall down a video game rabbit hole here. Also, the bumper cars are lit up and Lazer Tag is calling all players. There's a cafeteria-style "common hall" serving up pizza, nachos, hot dogs, fries, and bevvies. Outside, the bumper boats are a refreshing way to cool down. You can see that the staff works hard at maintaining the grounds. There's always someone working on the many pools and water features when I go. Overall, the greens are in good shape. Sure, a ball may stick, but it's a game. Mulligans and astro turf hiccups are par for this course. Want to practice random kindness? If you see a bottle on the ground, feel free to recycle in the receptacle placed by the tee box. It's nice that they thought to have as many receptacles as they did. It really helps keep the place tidy. The staff is young & laid back yet attentive. One clean sweep across all 4 courses at the opening of each AM shift, however, could help keep it 100% litter-free. See, I warned you--I had nothing but good things to say about Camelot Golfland.
