Waterpark obsessed girlie here! Water World totally surprised me -- built right into the hills and little mountains, it feels like an adventure just walking around! The park is huge with some of the most creative slides and water adventures I've ever tried. Loved the themed rides too -- so cute and made everything extra fun! Definitely one of the most unique waterparks I've visited!

Water World was the absolute favorite part of our Colorado trip! (Not to be confused with the Kevin Costner movie LOL) We had so much fun at Water World in Federal Heights. I didn't get many pics because my underwater camera wasn't working right after a few snaps, so you'll just have to trust me. I am sort of a whimp when it comes to heights/fast rides/rollercoasters, but I had fun on the rides that I did try at Water World. Even if you don't do any of the scarier rides, you can still have tons of fun just doing different slides/swimming/and the wave pool. The wave pool was probably my favorite part of the park and I stayed there for hours. They have a lot of rides and activities that aren't too crazy on the heights or scariness, so I think this would be good for the whole family!

Always a great time. Here's a secret go on the 4th of July. People are doing something else like picnic and camping. Lines are short.

Ask the Community - Water World

    Mid day ticket prices?

I don't think so but maybe call and ask

Can you bring food to water world?

Yes. They check your coolers to make sure nothing in there is prohibited. But your typical picnic food: sandwiches, drinks, snacks? All good.

What bungalow would lo d be the best to rent with children?

You aren't typically sitting in them for much time but I found them to be worth it. Here is what we did: we rented a tiny one, a two-seater, and it was on the left side of Thunder Bay wave pool if you are looking at it from the front. There's shade…

Are the cabanas worth it? We have a 5 and 7 year old with us. If yes, which cabana location is best of North Shore and Big Top (under $200/day)? Thanks!

Personal preference but in my opinion they aren't. You can bring in chairs & little pop up type tents (call for specifics), not sure if they would allow a pack and play type of pop up. There are a lot of areas through out the park where you can find…

It seems like they are only open at night which is awesome because I love going to the park at night as it creates a whole new atmosphere that the day can't match from the sights and sounds you can't really go wrong with a night at the park! Lots of this park is very run down like it really needs some help which made me kinda sad but happy to see it's still in operation if I had the money I'd totally fix it up and keep it nostalgic to its roots like get the roller coaster going and what not! Wild Chipmunk alone was worth the trip here as you don't see many coasters like that being operational anywhere a true gem in the coaster world! Their train ride was awesome too takes you to the edge of the property around the lake making for a long fun ride that we totally loved! They offer all day wristbands or tickets since we only rode a few things we went with the tickets making for a bit of a saver for us money wise so just plan accordingly if you choose this path! Overall this park is awesome I'd love to see it get the love and respect it deserves as I can tell this is a very valuable asset to this community and I hope to come back here again at some point because this truly is up there with my favorite parks I've ever been to straight up a vibe here the whole time!

Each racer got two 12 lap races, food & drink, one hour reserved seating, arcade tokens & top finishers got medals - plus all racers got to race together with a reserved time. The price was about $80 per racer. We paid separately for additional food for spectators. These go carts are electric, so no smell & pretty quiet. A few things to note, racers need to be at least 48 inches tall & if you have more than twelve racers you then split into two groups. Also, K1 has an Arrive & Drive option for just racing, it's first come first serve. The day we went was for a birthday. After checking in racers registered & signed waivers after which they got balaclavas & helmets. Instructions were given but it was rather hard to hear. Our racers had a blast...they loved it - it was a great experience. Right after racing our lunch was ready, it was served buffet style. We choose Cheese & Pepperoni Pizzas, BBQ & Buffalo Chicken Wings & soft drinks. There were no salad or vegan options. The pizza was good, however the wings were even better & delicious. Since we were a big group we had a private party room. The only outside food allowed was dessert. Our party ran smoothly, the staff was friendly & very helpful. All in all a great time!

Best Birthday Party Experience Ever -- for Kids and Adults…read more We hosted Stella's 4th birthday party at Bounce Empire, and it was hands down one of the coolest places we've ever had a party. What truly sets Bounce Empire apart is that it's not just for kids -- it actually considers the adults too. So many kids' birthday venues forget about the parents, but not here. There's a full bar, massage pods, a movie theater room with recliners to watch sports, chess tables, and a beautiful outdoor patio with mountain views. It felt more like a resort than a kids' party venue. And the bounce houses? Definitely not just for kids. All the adults had an absolute blast too. They even have DJs! We were there for an 11 a.m. party so we didn't get to experience the DJ that day, but I've been here before for a late-night adult girls' party and it's just as fun for adults as it is for kids. Now I have to talk about the event planner, Ariann -- because she truly made this experience unforgettable. As a mom of two, getting somewhere early to set up balloons, cups, decorations, food, cupcakes, candles... it's usually stressful and exhausting. This time? I didn't lift a single finger. Ariann handled everything. Setup, food, cupcakes, candles, décor, and even cleanup. I was able to just be present and actually enjoy my child's birthday party -- which honestly almost made me cry. That kind of care and support is priceless. We never felt rushed, the party flowed perfectly, and it was by far the most laid-back, fun, and stress-free birthday party we've ever had -- for our kid. Is it a bit pricey? Yes. Is it 100% worth it? Absolutely. I would recommend Bounce Empire to anyone looking for a birthday party that truly caters to everyone -- kids and adults. We will definitely be back.

Your kids will have an absolute blast. If you have toddlers, this is not the place for them yet. They'll have a tough time negotiating all of the bounce houses and obstacle courses, and the slides will be a little too fast for them. One day, they'll love it, but not yet. If you're a parent or just going as an adult, prepare for a lot of STEEP slides, fun obstacles, and a fun few hours to be a kid again. It's an active, high energy place, and as long as you are ready to unleash your inner kid, you'll have a great time. The inflatables are incredible. The live DJ makes it feel special. Overall, it's so much better than you'd ever expect.

They did have a tiger, which was definitely unexpected and cool to see. We also got a caricature done, which ended up being one of the best parts of the visit. A colored face-only drawing for two people was $30. It was listed as a 10-minute drawing, but it took closer to 30 minutes. The artist was really nice, though, and recommended we eat at the restaurant. we stopped at the gift shop and got some cute plushies before. Unfortunately, that's where the experience went downhill. We had a reservation and were seated around 6:20. We got Liz as our server. she was very sweet and one of the calmer servers on a busy night. otherwise service was very slow. We ordered the Herb-Roasted Salmon and the Coconut Shrimp. After waiting about 45 minutes, the manager came over to tell us they were out of the coconut shrimp and recommended the Shrimp Platter instead, so we went with that. The salmon tasted overly fishy, and the asparagus was undercooked, although the mashed potatoes were actually really good. As for the Shrimp Platter, the fried shrimp was mostly breading, the bacon-wrapped shrimp was just kind of strange, and the grilled shrimp was the only part we really enjoyed. The fries were good, but the beans and green beans weren't. It also took quite a while to get our check, and dinner ended up costing around $80. Overall, I'd skip the restaurant. The aquarium is worth checking out once, especially if you have young kids, but I probably wouldn't come back for another date night.
