I came in recently for x-rays as a walk-in first thing in the morning. The front desk receptionist…read morewas friendly. I handed over my documents (imaging order, pic ID, medical insurance card). When asked about cost, she told me she would let me know. I was then called back shortly which at the time I was grateful since I was trying to get to work asap. The x-ray tech that brought me back was also friendly and professional. She was easy to talk to and guided me through the exam in a way that was comfortable with my current condition. The whole process was seamless and quick. Maybe a little too quick. I checked out and asked the same receptionist what I owed thinking she verified my benefits by then. She said she didn't see that I owed anything. That's never the case, but I went on my way to get to work. I get a text a little over a week later stating my statement was ready. I just wished they were more efficient with checking benefits before performing procedures. I knew I was likely to pay, but others may feel blindsided if they weren't familiar with their insurance coverage. Despite that, the fees were standard and the whole experience was satisfactory.

Every time I go to Envision, I am haunted by the 'check in online' constantly until you do it and…read more'arrive 15 minutes early to 'check-in'. Well, I have two problems with this. 1) Filling out these forms online before your visit is already checking in. It says it right there. And of course, you can't do it just once. You have to do it, otherwise you're pounded with text reminders until you do and then you have to do it again a day before your visit. Like we have nothing else to do other than go through the check in process THREE TIMES, twice online and once at the facility. 2) Arrive 15 minutes before you appointment, well, I have a life, not much of one but it's mine. My time is important, just as important as anyone at Envision. If you want me to arrive 15 minutes early, make my appointment for 3:45 instead of 4pm. You're wasting my time with all of these 'check-ins' and as I said, my time is important to me. This policy is so 'strict' that arriving two minutes late at one appointment on the Oak Park facility due to traffic, they had me wait for 35 minutes before an office employee told me they'll be taking me in 15 minutes and 'sorry for the delay' for a CT scan that literally took 2 minutes at a different Envision. It took me longer to take all my metal off and put it back on than the scan did. When I complained, the woman told me I could talk to her manager and I told her, 'No, you can tell her. I don't repeat myself and it's just wasting even more of my time' I walked out and swore I'd never go back to that location. They were taking people that arrived AFTER me for more than a half hour because I was late by two minutes due to traffic. But this isn't the only problem location. ALL of them are like this. It's like a cult 'complete the check in forms online, do it again and arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to check in' and over and over and over again. And if you don't adhere to their policy, they make you wait. I will NOT arrive 15 minutes before my appointment. I will do my best to arrive AT my appointment time. Envision does not respect their clients and their time. In the future I will do anything I can to NOT go to an Envision center because of these two points. They must have gotten sick of getting complaints like this because there is literally NO WAY to make a complaint via email on their website. The only way I found was to put in a 'testimonial' on their site and I'm 100% sure this complaint will not be posted on their testimonials page but hopefully someone will see it and make a change, but I doubt it.

Southlake Envision Imaging clinic has been MOST accommodating, professional and time efficient every single time! I had at least 15 or more visits to help diagnose my serious conditions. Every time I have entered this location using my walker, I was & am still suffering from EXCRUCIATING pain & discomfort. My combined medical issues create this pain for at least 22 hrs of each and every of my days. Waiting, sitting, walking is extremely difficult for me, constantly. Southlake Envisions proficiency makes my visits much easier each and every time. The staff is attentive to helping me with the door when exiting and even assisting me to the back for each procedure every time. The simple & easy task of making my appointment, to the time waiting from check-in, to taking me back for each procedure, was ALWAYS made easy. They were not making special provisions for me alone, I noticed every patient from check in, to taking us back for the actual procedure, was little time. There were hardly any people waiting in the waiting room which makes me feel their scheduling system is on point. All the staff, from the office workers to the techs are kind, professional and so helpful when I needed assistance. Again not just for me, I noticed this overall for each patient! I HIGHLY recommend this location for any imaging needs... Kudos to all these employees and management!

Yikes what an experience, where do I start. I needed to acquire an ultra sound and was referred by…read moremy doctor to this place. I called, set an appointment, and arrived on time. Just like the other reviews I had to wait over an hour to be seen. Side note three other patients arrived after me and all got seen. I sought to understand by asking the front desk what's going on in a very polite way saying "hi do we have an estimate on my turn I've seen other people get helped before me and wanted to get an estimate" the front lady with colored eyes responded passive aggressively " well we do more than ultrasounds" I then proceeded to be more direct and ask" why have others been helped before me even although I arrive before them. I wanna make sure I wasn't missed " she responded " it's fine take a seat". She could improve on her responses, specially I came from a positive and polite way. India was the best part of the experience she was my technician that preformed the ultra sound. I can only give this place 3 stars due to her. She saved this place from getting 1. I have been here on several occasions and I never really had an issue with them. My only complain…read morewould be that you have to wait so long to get an appointment. It took me nearly 3 weeks to get my first appointment with them. A year later I had to get something else checked out and they were booked for 2 weeks. I get its not their fault but it would be nice to have more appointments available. All 3 - ish ( I lost track) times that I been they have been fully staffed at the front desk, I been greated and welcomed in. The front staff has answered all my questions and were professional in handling my paperwork. The techs that had help me were very caring and showed empathy towards me. The facility inside was clean and organized. Whenever I go in they are always patient with me when I ask a ton of questions. These last few months have been a new experience for me. Friendly and knowledgeable people working here made my visits easier. First time I came here it was hard to find the front door haha. Pull into the parking lot and you will see the big double doors with sings to all the offices they have there. Dont go by the numbers on the smaller doors on the side of the building haha. I usually always get morning appointments so I get there when it is not crowded. The parking lot can get a little busy but there is parking there trust me.

I have been coming here for years, i've been getting my mammogram here for the last 10 years. And…read morerecently I've been getting MRIs for my brain. And they try to be very courteous and friendly and they really are... But they are getting more and more busy and overcrowded and so when you come for 15 or 30 minute service you'll be there three hours... That's kind of annoying. But they do do an excellent job, the facilities is very clean and the quality of service really helps a lot.

When asked to speak with the supervisor, she was unavailable due to being in a meeting. Customer service and quality to care are not their priority. Only schedule here if you have all day to accommodate last minute schedule changes with no notice!

The second time I had an appointment I waited in hour and a half. And getting test results typically take 5 to 7 business days but anytime I go to another facility other than Bryant Irvin. Results typically take 5 to 7 business days but anytime I go to another facility other than Bryant Irvin my test results are posted the next day. I would say that if you are in a need for an urgent test that you request your doctor to put stat on the request for both the image and the results otherwise you'll be waiting for a while.
