When it was time to be paid it turned out they hadn't received their cash. Eventually they started writing checks, then ran out of checks. I felt for them and didn't really mind at this point, just seemed like they were having a Murphy's law kind of day. The rest of us submitted our addresses, and we were promised that our checks would be delivered that same day. I was impressed that they were going to do that to make up for all the waiting, inconvenience, and uncertainty. That day came and went without payment. So did the next. When I called on the third day to check on my payment, I spoke with someone very snotty. She said the checks had been *mailed* the *next* day, and would probably arrive next week. I said we were promised same-day payment. She was very rude and sneered "how exactly would that work?" I said I had assumed they would send a courier. Maybe they shouldn't promise something that they can't deliver? And there's definitely no call to be rude. Still waiting...

I personally have qualified for 3 studies over the past 3 years and I believe each time I was compensated with a $150 gift card for 90 minute or 2 hour studies. I honestly believe it's the easiest money you can make to just talk about whatever the focus is about. Your not supposed to have your phones put to take pictures, especially in the conference room during studies, so hence my lack of pictures. I personally qualified for a casual dining study, in which I watched potential commercials from said company and they wanted feedback on which commercial was more appealing. There were 7 total people in the room all discussing what we saw with a moderator. Your in a very bright room with double sided mirrors where people are watching and recording what you say on the other side of the glass. The conversations flow easily and it doesn't feel like work at all. Search for fieldwork denver and sign up for their email notifications which will send you notices of studies you could potentially qualify for. I apply for studies pretty often and don't qualify, so don't feel as though it's a scam, they are just looking for specific candidates. Like mentioned earlier, I tend to qualify for about 1 a year, give or take. At the end of the study, your given your compensation via a visa gift card which can be used anywhere like cash. I've enjoyed this company, even though I wish I could do a study a month, but I understand it doesn't quite work like that.
