The same couple were behind the counter with their now very-grown-up son. A few older gentlemen solved the world's problems at a table in the corner while sipping their coffees. A mother and young son were sharing what must have been the last delicious vanilla glazed yeast doughnuts (yes, they were all gone... much to my disappointment...and along with the 'hand pies' as I call them). Also, the rose pistachio shortbread tasted nothing like pistachio or rose - it was just regular shortbread sprinkled with some dried rose. One thing I truly appreciated was how easy it was to connect with the owner Saif and how responsive he was on his instagram page about any questions I had about specific products and the pick up location.
