Horrible delivery service from this location! The first time I ordered, they gave me the complete wrong order and made no attempts to remedy it. The second time, it took them over two hours to deliver. It took three customer service reps to get me to receive only a partial refund on my order. When the box did arrive, the cookies were broken and crumbled. While the in-person staff has been lovely, the delivery is an absolute disaster. Do not recommend! read more

The cookies are ALWAYS fresh and delicious every single time. The only problem with this location is that they seem to be having trouble keeping up with the demand. There's always a line and they're always running out of their best sellers. You're stuck having to wait up to a half hour sometimes just to get the cookie of your choice. The Manhattan locations don't seem to have this problem. Maybe hire more people, get a bigger oven, etc. read more

Wow, I am surprised about the reviews here because I just tried them being (this location) and Insomnia Cookies in General for the very first time Saturday (6-27-20) and absolutely loved what I got! I ordered 5 Double Chocolate Chip Cookies, 2 White Chocolate Macadamian Cookies, and 2 Chocolate Chip ones and all tasted great! Items weren't burnt and items came quickly. The shop smells delicious when you walk in but the cookies don't really stand up to the smell. They have maybe 8 different choices (chocolate chip, sugar, mint chocolate) and they tasted very basic. My 1st time ordering for pickup here so happy someone came up with the idea to open up insomnia cookies here in Brooklyn not having to travel to the city for fresh cookies. The cookies were hot fresh and ready and I realized there was a slight mixup with the cookies when I left and when I went back they just gave me the extra 2 cookies I was missing instead of exchanging which is smart and safe. Okay so let me start off by saying I truly love insomnia cookies !! My fav cookie place . HOWEVER this 5th ave location in Brooklyn is literally awful. Not all the time , don't get me wrong there is one girl here who actually cares about the costumers . However , the other employees really do not seem to care . So today is Mother's Day and I ordered a cake , it is 3:53 and this order was suppose to be ready by 2 pm . Now I understand it's a busy day, but isn't that what online orders are for ??? They claim at first they needed 15 minutes , again it is now 3:54 pm. Very disappointed and this isn't the first time. I went in to order cookies and no one greeted or asked if they could assist me in ordering. I felt as though they didn't even care that I was there to purchase. I got the classic chocolate chunk cookie which was too over cooked, but the white chocolate macadamia nut was really good. The location is probably too touristy that the workers just don't care. I saw their ad and decided to try this place out and ordered a box cookies as a surprise for my daughter and her family. Ordering was so easy, and delivery was quick. I have to say, I was extremely happy with the packaging (not one cookie was damaged) and even more happy with the cookies! Very overrated place. Got the brownie. Had to wait a few minutes for them to heat it up. When it did arrive, it was only heated half way through. Pretty generic brownie and it tasted as if it had been sitting around for awhile. The icing on the cake was this disappointing and relatively small brownie came out to $4.36. Whatta con. First google says this establishment is open at 3 am. The insomnia cookie's website says it's open at 1 am. Then the store has its own hours posted at 11:30pm. We arrived 15 mins before they closed and they already had the doors closed. The employees pretend we were not at the door and was completely ignoring us. They need to fix their hours and have better customer service and have their own number to call the store. read more

I cannot believe how incompetent of a store this is took over 2 hours for 6 cookies wish I could zero stars

I visited this location yesterday with my children and placed my order online while we waited as the line was extremely long. When I finally made it to the register to pick up my order I was informed that there was no more cookies and cream ice cream. I asked the woman at the register to then refund me for the two ice creams since they did not have what I paid for . I was told by the woman "This is not a retail store and she would not be giving me a refund. I asked for the manager who said she would not refund me either and I should Google the customer service number if I wanted a refund. I asked if I could have another flavor of ice cream I was told no and that she -would not be serving me at all. I asked for her name and she refused to give it as the manager, and the cashier told me she did not have to give me her name if she did not want to. She then told me to leave the store without even giving me any of my already paid for order. The cashier also came from behind the counter and went ouside with the spatula to speak to customers in line and then came back in and was ready to use the same spatula. I asked the manager if that was ok that she went out with the spatula and they refused to answer me. When I refused to leave another manager came out and helped me with the order and the discrepancy with the ice cream. I have been a supporter of Insomnia cookies for over 5yrs. I have recommended the brand for corporate functions as well as family events and I am truly disappointed in the service my children and I received at this location. Sad to say I will no longer spend my money here due to this ill treatment nor would I recommend the services to others.
