My partner ordered the avocado toast with no eggs and a side of fruit. Our food took a while to come out, which I found surprising given that the place wasn't packed. Maybe they were also doing their meal prep stuff? When it arrived, I was taken aback by how much cheese was in the burrito. It seemed like half the filling was cheese! Just too much for me. The menu said it came with homemade salsa, but as far as I can tell it just had diced onions and bell peppers and therefore needed more flavor. However the side of potatoes was perfect. Really well seasoned. The avocado toast was fine, but had a pretty strong citrus flavor that was overpowering. The prices are a bit high, but considering the cost of food and that they use high quality ingredients it's not surprising. I was hoping they'd give me a slight discount for making my burrito vegetarian but no such luck. I'm open to trying it again for lunch or dinner given the other stellar reviews, but I wasn't wowed this first time out.

Are you kidding me? First, why do people have to scream at the top of their lungs in restaurants? It gets so loud in some of these places, and on Sunday, Ann Sathers was no different. If you do not have some sort of acoustical material to buffer the sound, then maybe a hostess or whoever is the manager of the restaurant should politely tell loud people that others are trying to have a conversation as well and lower their damn volume...sheesh! We were so impressed by the thoughtful combinations in every course, and the incredibly high attention to detail throughout the meal. Our group has been to multiple Michelin rated spots in Chicago and elsewhere, and this dinner was on par with or exceeded those experiences. As one example, one of our party members casually commented about a preference with shrimp preparation, and they took the time to adjust his servings to accommodate him. The Old Fashioneds they made were also extraordinary - charred orange peel and all! The servings were far more generous than we expected and they even upgraded our steak selection to a wagyu within our price point. This was a dinner we will be talking about for months, if not years. It's pretty small but what did you expect for a farmers market in a mall community? There are maybe…read more8 booths but they all sell different foods like bread, cheese, coffee, fruit, or veggies. This time I bought jam and cheese but next time I will definitely try to remember to bring more money. Michael the cheese guy is the cheese. He has little sampling presentations that are to die for. I was left with so many choices I didn't know what to buy. I was offended for him when 5 girls came, sampled everything, then just walked off. This isn't Costco... The guys who sell jam and pesto and guac are really nice but I honestly think its overpriced. The jam is great and tastes really homemade but the other foods, while also delicious, are not worth the hefty price stickers.
