I came to pick up my free birthday cookie and was having a horrible day. The guy who packed my cookie immediately started packing several into a box and gave them to me. I lit up!!! He didnt know but i was having a horrible day and had come to get my cookie to cheer myself up. I left smiling so hard haha! Thank you cookie guy! i came with my sister, super excited to try the new dolce cookie, and upon arriving, there was a sign saying "I will be back in 5 minutes. Sorry for the inconvenience." It has been well over 5 minutes. A few people were waiting as well, and left since nobody came back. I am so disappointed. read more

"warm cookies", that's what's written on the door. At $3 a sugar cookie from a cookie place in a low key district of Chicago, what would one expect? An at-least-great big warm cookie, right? Forget it. These are just decent but cold basic cookies that you'd find in any grocery store, sold in average at $5 for a box of 8. And indeed, they pull the cookies out of boxes stored under the counter, out of sight of the customer - of course. A rip-off at all levels (quality and quantity). 2 stars for atmosphere, bc they re open late. But after all, most grocery stores are as well.. Want a great $3 cookie? Just go to Potbelly. Not the best, but much better than these. Some businesses just deserve to fail. Seriously. The positive reviews must be from next door students who refuse to acknowledge their buyer's regret... that's the only explanation. Seriously. #CallOutRipOff read more

Since the birth of insomnia I've only eaten their oatmeal raisin cookies cause that my fave and their recipe is good. But now that I bake I can CERTAINLY make these at home for less than half of what they charge for 3 simple cookies. i just paid $10 for 3 cookies. I'm the clown for spending it. Just out of principle the convenience of not having to make them is not worth the price of $10 for 3 small oatmeal raisin cookies. Tuh! read more

Fresh, warm, delicious cookies! I love that they're open insanely late, they deliver if you have that need, and they have ice cream as an accompaniment if you're into that. Their cookies come in two sizes and they have good variety. I love the peanut butter. Yes they are expensive, but they are better than your average grocery store cookies and as an occasional treat I am definitely a fan! read more

If you love fresh warm cookies, this place is the spot. I love how they have come out with different cookie flavors throughout the year. The blueberry pancake cookie and the apple pie caramel cookies were divine! I always order on the app and there's usually a deal. First of, I'm not big on chain restaurants only because I feel like their food isn't as good but I can never say that about insomnia cookies! I've been at several locations and I never get disappointed by any of the cookies. My favorite cookie is the S'mores Deluxe. It definitely tastes even better at 2am after a long night. Okkurrt. In all of my years going to insomnia cookies this was my first time trying the cookie sandwich...OMG! It was so good. The cookie was chewy, soft, and warm! You can't beat that. If you're a huge fan of desserts, like me, then I suggest that you try insomnia cookies because they are cheap, they stay open late, and they're consistently tasty. Plus they reliever! I've ordered from Insomnia Cookies for a few years. The cookies have always arrived warm and gooey, delivery is usually fast, and service has been good. Keep in mind that I've only ordered when I've had the munchies if you get my drift, and just about anything tastes delicious when you have the munchies so take that as you will. My only gripe is the prices. A scoop of ice cream is about $6. I usually get a 6-pack of cookies and a pint of ice cream. With delivery fees and tip, it usually comes out to $30. I think that's pretty steep for six cookies and ice cream. I'd order more often if the prices were a tiny bit more economical. Some people have said the cookies taste average, and granted I've only ordered during munchie hour but I've tried many a peanut butter chunk cookie in my life and theirs is way better than average. It's yummy and my favorite! So yeah, I'll continue ordering because they always arrive fast, warm and yummy! read more

Insomnia Cookies is truly meant to be eaten at midnight after a night out because any other time the cookies are overwhelming. The staff at Insomnia Cookies are really nice. The gentleman I interacted with was very personable and patient. They seem to hire people with great patience and personalities which is a plus for the late night crowds they most likely encounter. Since it was my first time visiting Insomnia Cookies I decide to go big. I ordered the deluxe chocolate peanut butter cup cookie. It was everything that I thought I wanted but not what I needed. I should've taken the 630 calorie tag as a warning that I was not ready for this level of cookie. The cookie was like eating peanut butter straight from the jar with chocolate pieces mixed into the jar. I would highly recommend getting one of the regular cookies and easing into the deluxe cookies. read more

They didn't even try with this order. I waited over 2 hours for 9 cookies (3 of which were their free "deal of the day" cookies) and they came underbaked. I tried calling an hour and a half after I placed the order because my tracking hadn't been updated and their local number redirected me to their corporate office. A customer service rep couldn't get ahold of this store, but assured me they had just been assigned to a delivery person. 45 minutes later and my order was finally delivered after the driver got lost (I literally live 5 minutes away). I have to bake them longer because they're raw in the middle. Not soft, raw. This is ridiculous. They might as well have given me their dough to bake myself and given me a discount. Would never recommend unless you like waiting forever for raw cookies. Update: Corporate contacted me and refunded my order, with an apology for the state it was in. The company as a whole is fine, but this location is not. read more

I had these cookies once in college and again a few nights ago. Now I remember why I never went back. The cookie texture is great (crisp on the outside and chewy soft in the center), but WAY too sweet! I ordered a ice cream sandwich -- moose tracks ice cream between two s'mores cookies. It cost almost $10 after tax, but the size of it was comically large --- enough for three to four people to enjoy. I ate about a quarter of it and tossed it in the trash. It was also a total mess to eat. There is no place to wash your hands after you get ice cream all over yourself. read more

I wish they had intelligent people working here..wrapped my face like 3 times with my shirt went in would NOT serve me while there was a *debate* about the mask b.s for about 5 min... it literally would have taken them 1 min to serve me since there was no one in thereeee..i think i know why now!! After coming here multiple times after MIDNIGHT, I realized they consistently served us cookies that weren't fresh. They were cold and you could tell they've been sitting there for a while. I felt like the cookies tasted below average for the price. I'd rather have ate Subway cookies or drive to the LP Location. They also have some super ghetto music playing at night. When I finally got to try Insomnia Cookies, it was a cruel discovery that its reputation is based on its business model rather than its cookie quality. The store seems to cater to the late night college kids or drunk folks with late night cravings and no ingredients to make cookies at home. The only food options available are milk, cookies, and ice cream. The cookies themselves are not remarkable. They don't have any interesting flavors of cookie available (just your standard oatmeal raisin, chocolate chop, white chocolate macadamia, etc.), but they are kept warm. I found my cookie to be so sweet (the white chocolate macadamia) that I threw away a couple of bites. Granted, I don't have a huge sweet tooth, but I still enjoy a good cookie. If I want a good cookie at some crazed drunken time, I think the better bet is 24-hour Subway cookies. read more

Insomnia cookies are my favorite! As a Loyola student who lives close to this location, I was super duper excited and had been anxiously waiting for it to open up. The best part of this location is that they deliver REALLY FAST! And the cookies are still warm and gooey. Mhmmmm, deliciousness in every chocolate chunk (those are my favorite!) I have the insomnia cookies app downloaded and lately they've had 12 cookies for $10 only and with delivery it's only $11.85+tip which is almost $4 less than when going to the store to pick up a dozen for close to 16-17 bucks! Cookies stay fresh for a few days and taste just as good when I warm them up in the microwave. Thanks for being so awesome Insomnia!!! read more

Their cookies are delicious! We tried the snickerdoodle, the deluxe chocolate peanut butter cup, the chocolate ice cream and the mint chocolate chip ice cream. The prices are high (we spent $40 on four people- no drinks), the store is small but in a easy to get to location and the staff is welcoming. This is very outraging I drove all the way over here for cookies and for some reason on the door it says closes at 3am. The picture attached clearly shows that it is locked up and closes before 3. I was walking towards my bus stop wondering what to get my best friends mom who just got out the hospital when I stumbled upon insomnia cookies! Wassssup! This is the perfect gift to get to cheer someone up!! Omgosh, if the smell of the cookies from outside the store isn't enough to draw you in- I don't know what is! I walked in and the gentlemen at the counter greeted me with such grace and respect. He explained to me that they have a promo going on now, buy four cookies, get two free. This actually was a really good deal considering that half a dozen cookies is $10.10 but getting that four cookies and two free promo (half a dozen) was $7.10 so I got a dozen of cookies for $15 as opposed to $20. The cookies are placed in a warmer where their quality is maintained. If you haven't been, you must go! These cookies are to die for! They are chewy, soft, melt-in-your-mouth goodness and you can't help but grab more! I highly recommend them! read more

BF and I were looking for a sweet treat to end the day. Decided to stop here on the way home and check it out. The cookie (triple chocolate chunk) warrants a 4 star rating but I am knocking down one star for service and cost. BF had a small strawberry ice cream which had bits of strawberry in it. I had the triple chunk cookie which was warm and tasty It's a small space. They pride themselves on fresh baked cookies you can get as let (and even delivered) until 3 am. Problem is, as with any establishment located near a college campus, it's got clueless college students just milling about. There is a small counter attached to the front window with bar stools. The students were milling about the WHOLE counter with food from outside locations. Because 2 of them were using the socket, we couldn't even look into the coolers to see what drinks they had to take with us. Servers didn't seem to care that other paying customers couldn't get served/see their goods/ check out the menu. For close to $8, I'll go to Whole Foods or make cookies at home. read more

The mango sago dessert was so much fun with lots of chunks of mango. The prices were a bit high but the desserts all come in high quality containers. Parking was a bit tight in the parking garage next to the shop. The shop itself is smaller with just a few seats. You can also buy flower arrangements here. Ube lining was decent and smooth, just took some effort to scrape. However I expected the ube at the bottom of the cup to be mashed similarly and it was not. Boba was chewy on the outside but ripped apart easily in the center, almost firm.

As we are heading out, my partners sister spots Te'amo! I ask if she's ever had mochi donuts. She hasn't, so of course we must stop in because everyone needs to try them at least once!!! We order at the kiask and patiently wait for our order. We get our order and leave....leaving the bag with the Stanley's behind!!! We don't realize this until we are home (45 mins away)! I immediately call, no answer, call again, no answer. I decide to DM their instagram page and guess what??? THEY HAD THE CUPS!!! Here I was thinking $150 in cups were gone. But they had them!!! A miracle!! 10/10 stars!! Anyway! I highly recommend the brûlée ube milk tea and the ube mochi donuts!!
