I've ordered from Insomnia Cookies for a few years. The cookies have always arrived warm and gooey, delivery is usually fast, and service has been good. Keep in mind that I've only ordered when I've had the munchies if you get my drift, and just about anything tastes delicious when you have the munchies so take that as you will. My only gripe is the prices. A scoop of ice cream is about $6. I usually get a 6-pack of cookies and a pint of ice cream. With delivery fees and tip, it usually comes out to $30. I think that's pretty steep for six cookies and ice cream. I'd order more often if the prices were a tiny bit more economical. Some people have said the cookies taste average, and granted I've only ordered during munchie hour but I've tried many a peanut butter chunk cookie in my life and theirs is way better than average. It's yummy and my favorite! So yeah, I'll continue ordering because they always arrive fast, warm and yummy! read more

I should've taken the 630 calorie tag as a warning that I was not ready for this level of cookie. The cookie was like eating peanut butter straight from the jar with chocolate pieces mixed into the jar. I have to bake them longer because they're raw in the middle. Not soft, raw. This is ridiculous. They might as well have given me their dough to bake myself and given me a discount. Would never recommend unless you like waiting forever for raw cookies. Update: Corporate contacted me and refunded my order, with an apology for the state it was in. The cookie texture is great (crisp on the outside and chewy soft in the center), but WAY too sweet! I ordered a ice cream sandwich -- moose tracks ice cream between two s'mores cookies. When I finally got to try Insomnia Cookies, it was a cruel discovery that its reputation is based on its business model rather than its cookie quality. The store seems to cater to the late night college kids or drunk folks with late night cravings and no ingredients to make cookies at home. The only food options available are milk, cookies, and ice cream. The cookies themselves are not remarkable. They don't have any interesting flavors of cookie available (just your standard oatmeal raisin, chocolate chop, white chocolate macadamia, etc.), but they are kept warm. I found my cookie to be so sweet (the white chocolate macadamia) that I threw away a couple of bites. Granted, I don't have a huge sweet tooth, but I still enjoy a good cookie. If I want a good cookie at some crazed drunken time, I think the better bet is 24-hour Subway cookies. read more

Their cookies are delicious! We tried the snickerdoodle, the deluxe chocolate peanut butter cup, the chocolate ice cream and the mint chocolate chip ice cream. The prices are high (we spent $40 on four people- no drinks), the store is small but in a easy to get to location and the staff is welcoming. Problem is, as with any establishment located near a college campus, it's got clueless college students just milling about. There is a small counter attached to the front window with bar stools. The students were milling about the WHOLE counter with food from outside locations. Because 2 of them were using the socket, we couldn't even look into the coolers to see what drinks they had to take with us. Servers didn't seem to care that other paying customers couldn't get served/see their goods/ check out the menu. For close to $8, I'll go to Whole Foods or make cookies at home. read more
