My friend brought us these cookies when she was in the area. She got us the Double Chocolate Chunk ($1.75), the Salted Caramel ($3.25), and the S'mores ($3.25). And wow were these cookies delicious!!! My friend said they were freshly made when she bought them. These cookies were awesome. They're the kind that are nice and crunchy on the edge and soft and chewy in the center, which is my preference for cookies. The Double Chocolate Chunk was deliciously chocolatey. It was very rich and decadent for the price and also not overly sweet. Dense in flavor but not texture ;) Would definitely get this cookie again if I'm need of a chocolate craving. The Salted Caramel was not overly salty and super delicious. It was one of the deluxe cookies and I can definitely see why. It was everything I imagined a Salted Caramel cookie to be and more. It wasn't overly sweet and perfectly rich. If you're a fan of salted caramel or just plain caramel, this is a must try. My favorite cookie of all was the S'mores cookie. When we were breaking it apart, we can see the stretch from the marshmallows and cookie. Definitely a sight to behold! It tasted exactly like a s'mores but better since the crunchy edges had just the right amount of crunch when compared to graham crackers. Tried this place for the first time and its really close to the ASU campus, so there are a lot of college students in the area and the parking is paid and down the street. The shop is small, so the sign on the door asked to have only a few people inside at a time. I just ordered cookies, so the staff was nice and quick. I liked the size of the deluxe cookie, but they seemed a little more pricey than some other places. The cookie was tasty, but not as rich and sweet as I had hoped. I ordered the deluxe set of six cookies, a container of milk and vanilla's ice cream from them through Door Dash. I did not receive the ice cream. Usually, when an item is missing, it is a simple matter of just getting a refund for that missing item. However, insomnia cookies do things "their own way." They refused to close out the delivery with Door Dash and left it open. As a result, not only did I not receive the ice cream I paid for, but I couldn't even get my refund. Also, one of friends from NY randomly mentioned it on his last visit to Phoenix and I recalled seeing the "Coming Soon" right on University Dr. Overall, the cookie did not disappoint. It was gooey and soft and used chocolate chunks instead of chips. On top of that, they cookies are kept slightly warmed so it just melts in your mouth. I'm all about the chocolate chip cookie so that is the only thing I ordered. The only thing I would change is the sweetness level. It was a little too sweet for my taste. Don't get me wrong, it was not bad but I certainly needed a big glass of milk to help wash it down (which I didn't have). Each cookie was 1.65. The second call resulted in my cookies still being baked and that it would Be an additional 10 minutes Website tracking is inaccurate and unreliable. I wanted so badly to love this location for 3 reasons. 1. It's super far from where I live and 2. Well, the name is awesome, and the menu options are vast compared to other cookie shops.
